The best way to burn fat fast, naturally, and in a healthy way is by increasing your metabolism. Once you learn how to increase your metabolism you will find that you will burn fat quickly, and the fat will stay off permanently. Increasing your metabolism is not hard, and below I will explain to you how to do it naturally. The first thing you must understand is what having a slow metabolism will do to you…

A Slow Metabolism Results in Less Fat Loss

When we lose weight, we also lose protein from our muscles. The faster we lose weight (by cutting down too much on our calorie intake), the more protein is used for energy; and when you lose too much protein from your muscles the result is a slow metabolism. This happens because your muscles need protein to grow and stay strong.

When protein is taken from your muscles, you lose muscle tissue. Muscle tissues are metabolically active and burn calories (even at rest). Your body needs calories to feed these metabolically active tissues so that it has energy to continue to burn calories. The calories that are burned also come from the fat that is stored in your body.

So in other words, the best way to burn fat is to give your body energy by eating more calories throughout the day so that your metabolism increases which will burn the fat that is stored in your body. Without the calorie intake, your metabolism has no energy therefore it will slow down and you will burn fat at a very slow rate (if you burn any at all).

Having energy is not the only reason for a fast or slow metabolism. You see, when you significantly cut down on your daily calorie intake, your metabolism burns calories slower to prevent your body from starving. Being that your body now doesn’t know when you will feed it; your body will store the calories to be used later. The calories that are stored, are stored as fat.

*They key to the whole thing is to not consume more calories than you are burning.

Increase Your Metabolism and Lose More Body Fat Weight Than Water Weight

When you lose protein from your muscles, you not only lose muscle tissue, but you will also lose water. Protein holds about 4 times its weight in water. To lose 10 pounds of body fat, you would need to burn 35,000 calories (3500 calories = 1 pound). If you lose those 10 pounds in one week do you honestly believe that it was body fat? The answer is no, only about 2 pounds was fat and the rest was water (Do not be fooled by what the scale says!) When you increase your metabolism, your body has a reason to hold onto the protein (remember protein holds water) and use the energy to burn fat.

Yes you will lose some protein from your muscles even if you lose weight the right way. The key is to provide your muscles with enough protein each day so that it can not only replace your protein loss, but use the extra protein to help build new muscle tissue and stay conditioned.

Eat More Food to Increase Your Metabolism

Protein helps build muscle, but carbohydrates are your body’s main source of energy. When your body has a deficiency of energy (carbohydrates) and takes the protein from your muscles as energy, the protein is converted to carbohydrates before it’s used as an energy source. Therefore, when you eat, you must have the right amount of carbohydrates and proteins in your body so that energy can be used efficiently.

You must also eat more frequently to fuel your metabolism all day long. Eating at least 5-6 small meals each day will give your metabolism the continuous supply of energy it needs which is the best way to burn fat longer and faster. If you are short on time and not able to cook, do not resort to eating junk food as one of your meals; instead opt for a good meal replacement product to satisfy your body.

Fat Burning Exercises Increases Your Metabolism

Exercise in general burns calories. Weight training will help you to increase your metabolism (especially your resting metabolic rate) because that is how you condition your metabolically active muscles (interval training increases your resting metabolic rate too, and should be used instead of cardio).

Whenever you increase your physical activity, especially through fat burning exercises, you must increase the amount of calories you consume each day.

Remember, the more energy (calories) you give your muscles, the more energy it has to burn fat that is stored in your body. Also remember the less energy you give you body, the more protein will be taken from your muscles to be converted to carbohydrates as energy, which leads to a slow metabolism.

So how do you put all of this together? You must choose the right fat loss program that will teach you how to increase your metabolism to burn fat fast.

One of the reasons why people have a hard time getting into shape is because they think that losing weight is the same as losing body fat. This is simply not true. You must understand that when most diet or weight loss programs advertise losing a large amount of weight in a short period of time, they are not talking about losing body fat, they are talking about water weight. They know that most people assume that when they lose weight they are burning fat so they roll with that.

So in reality they are not really lying to you, but they are only telling you half the truth by capitalizing on what you assume. They will not tell you that you are not losing much fat because they know that you think you are because your scale goes down. With that said, it is possible to lose a large amount of fat in a short period of time.

In order for fat loss to occur, your body must burn more calories than it takes in, but keep in mind that your body needs calories for energy and when you exercise; your body needs even more calories. Before I talk about energy, the first thing you must understand is that fat loss and weight loss is not the same thing. Just because you lose weight, does not mean you lost fat. When people talk about losing weight, what the really want to do is lose body fat and obtain an attractive figure.

When you eat, the body uses most of the calories for energy. If you eat more calories than the body uses, it will get stored as fat. If you do not consume enough calories per day you will lose weight, but you will also lose energy. When you do not consume enough energy (calories) for your body, it will start using up your energy stores to make up for the energy deficiency. Unfortunately, the energy stores used is not your stored fat, but instead it’s protein and carbohydrates (carbs) that will supply most of the energy (stored fat makes up a very small percentage).

Your body will take the protein and carbohydrates from your muscle cells; causing your muscle mass to reduce (say goodbye to that toned attractive look) which forces your metabolism to decrease (a low metabolism = slow or no fat burning). When this happens your body requires less energy to maintain its new lower body weight (remember the body weight is lower because you loss muscle), which is why your body conserves energy by slowing down the metabolism.

In other words, the body has adapted to the new lower energy (calorie) intake which means that you will no longer continue to lose weight or burn fat. Here is an example of the point I am trying to make:

Let’s say that you went on an 1,000 calorie a day diet when your body is used to getting 2,500 calories per day. Because you significantly reduced your calorie intake, the body saves energy by slowing down the metabolism (burning fat at a slower rate). Your metabolism decreases when the body starts taking the energy (protein) from the muscle cells. During this process you are losing weight because you are losing muscle (which is made up of water). Let’s say that you lose a total of 30 pounds, but for some reason you are not able to lose anymore weight. The reason you can’t lose anymore weight is because you body has adapted to only receiving 1,000 calories per day and your body has gotten to the point where it no longer recognizes an energy (calorie) deficiency. Your body has now officially become satisfied with 1,000 calories. So in order to lose weight now, you have to eat less than 1,000 calories.

Keep in mind that the weight you had lost in the first place was mostly water weight and you will eventually gain it back in the form of fat, not muscle (in order to get your muscle mass back to the way it was before, you have to work on rebuilding it). When carbohydrates and protein that are already in your body are used as the energy source, your body will lose water weight because both carbohydrates and protein hold water in the cells.

In essence, you are dehydrating yourself to lose weight. So yes the scale will go down, but approximately 75% (if not more) of it is water instead of fat. And just so you know, exercising while consuming a small calorie intake just makes the situation worse. This is because when you exercise, you start burning off more energy and the more you workout, the more energy your body needs. I already told you above where the energy comes from, and if you do not give your body the energy it needs, it will just feed on your muscles even quicker now that you are exercising.

So eat more food (the right type of food, that is)!

In addition to this, when you cut down too much on your calorie intake, your body will start storing calories because it doesn’t know when you will eat again. The calories that are stored will be stored as fat. So in other words, when your body is storing energy, it’s basically storing more fat.

To summarize my point: Not eating enough calories (the right type of calories) results in muscle loss, dehydration, slower fat burning, and your body will always adapt to a lower calorie intake.

Bottom Line: if you can’t maintain that lower calorie intake for the rest of your life, you will gain your weight back when you get tired of starving yourself!

To lose weight (burn fat) properly you must increase your metabolism (weight training) and your need for oxygen (aerobics or interval training) while eating enough calories each day (nutritious diet) to give you energy and maintain the protein in your muscles because protein helps build muscles, which indirectly burns fat.

This brings up another good point: When you build muscle your weight will increase because your muscles are made up of mostly water, but your body fat percentage will decrease because building muscles increases your metabolism (in other words, muscles way more than fat, but take up less space than fat). So keep in mind that losing body fat can’t be measured by a scale; use a measuring tape and also look at yourself in the mirror, and then you will see the true results.

Make sure that you focus on fat loss not weight loss. Your goal should be to lose weight by burning fat, not losing water from your muscles. Remember this when you choose a fat loss program.

Contrary to popular belief, carbs (carbohydrates) do not make you fat (if you know how to incorporate them in your meals). Carbohydrates are your body’s primary source for energy, and they can be released quickly and easily to give your body fuel. Carbs also make your body produce insulin, and the insulin helps protein travel to your muscles to be used for energy and muscle conditioning.

Unlike fat, carbs do not require oxygen to burn; therefore, they fuel our muscles when they contract. Daily intake of carbohydrates is very important to give your muscles the energy it needs so that you can have an effective workout. The more you exercise, the more carbohydrates you need to take in.

Carbs are made up of sugars which your body converts into glucose for energy. Glucose is the main sugar that is present in many foods, and most other sugars are converted into glucose after being digested (except fiber). Complex carbohydrates (starchy foods like potatoes) take longer to digest, and the slow absorption of this type of carbohydrate provides us with a steady supply of energy and limits the amount of sugar that gets converted into fat and stored.

Fibrous Carbohydrates (ie. green vegetables) have a low calorie density which makes it easier for your body to stay full without eating too many calories. Fibrous carbs also provide your body with much needed nutrients.

Simple carbohydrates (pastries, cake, etc.) are digested quickly and have an increased chance of being converted and stored as fat. Too much simple carbohydrates contain too much energy and the unused energy will either get stored as glycogen (sugar storage within cells) or fat. There is a very limited amount that can be stored as glycogen unless the glycogen levels are low (anaerobic exercise will lower the levels).

Natural foods like fruit are simple carbohydrates, but they contain a lower amount of energy, so there is less chance for fruit to be converted into fat. Fruits are also high in fiber which helps slow digestion and limits the amount that can get stored as fat.

I know you may find this hard to believe, but you must also include fats into your diet.

Aerobic means with oxygen. You will often hear the words aerobics and cardio interchanged within the fitness community. The purpose of doing aerobic exercise is to make your body have a need for more oxygen so that you can burn fat. Fat is a slow burning fuel that requires oxygen. When the right amount of oxygen is delivered to your muscles, your muscles can easily burn fat and use it as energy.

During aerobic exercise, your body goes through several stages before it reaches the point where you are burning fat. You will hear people say that you are only burning sugar (carbohydrates) not fat during the first 10 minutes of exercise; but you will continue to burn sugar past the 10 minute mark if you are not working out hard enough for your body to want more oxygen.

However, if you exercise too hard you are not allowing enough oxygen to get to your muscles to help burn fat for energy during the exercise. You will know if you are working out too hard especially if you are breathing heavy and trying to catch your breath. When you are working out at this higher level, your body requires more oxygen than you are able to supply it. Therefore, your body will start to burn carbohydrates in order to keep up with the demand for more energy. So to burn fat during an aerobic workout, you must exercise at a steady pace. To burn the most fat during the workout, make sure that you are taking in enough oxygen (do not hold your breath), by working out hard enough to create a need for oxygen.

The above two paragraphs are very true when it comes to aerobic exercise, but it is only half of the truth…

The other half of the truth is the fact that aerobic exercise is a waste of time if you want to burn fat fast and get a lean muscular body. This is because once the aerobic workout is over, you stop burning fat.

Many people don’t realize that there is a way for your body to continue to burn fat after the workout. That way is through anaerobic exercises such as intervals and weight training.

Intervals are an anaerobic exercise that is an excellent alternative to regular cardio workouts and it is how to burn fat fast. Interval training is a form of cardio exercise where you workout at a normal steady pace for a few minutes then you increase your intensity for a minute or so, then go back to the steady normal pace. Each time you increase your intensity and then go back to the steady pace that is called an interval. Interval training is an advanced way of doing cardio, and it is also the most effective and quickest way to burn fat.

Interval training workouts will cause your muscles to work harder, and your body will have to repair the trauma that the increased activity has caused the muscles. This repairing process causes your resting metabolism to increase. Therefore, you end up burning a lot more calories during this increase in metabolism compared to the calories burned during your aerobic workout.

Burning a high percentage of fat during your 30-60 minute workout doesn’t compare to burning a high percentage of fat hours after your workout has ended. One of the most effective interval training workouts that will burn a high percentage of body fat is Turbulence Training. Turbulence Training is known as one of the quickest ways to burn fat.

If you find it hard to believe the above statements then think about the differences between the bodies of marathon runners versus sprinters. Most sprinters have a very lean, muscular, and powerful looking body, while the typical marathon runner is more often very skinny and hungry looking.

Which would you rather resemble?

Interval training alone is not enough to get a lean body; you also have to incorporate weight training if you really want a complete way of burning fat fast.

Weight training is an anaerobic exercise that increases your metabolism and tones your body by helping you burn fat quickly.

The only way for you to continue to burn fat calories hours after you have finished working out is through anaerobic exercise. Anaerobic means “without oxygen” and the most beneficial form of anaerobic exercise is weight training. Weight training is the key to burning fat at rest. Weight training is an anaerobic activity that will cause you to burn more calories than aerobic exercise. The calories that you are burning during weight training exercises are mostly calories from carbohydrates (meaning you must eat even more calories per day for energy); but the calories you burn after your workout are mostly calories from fat.

The reason you are burning fat after your workout is because weight training increases your metabolism which uses your stored fat as energy. Interval training has the same effect. Some people (especially women) ask if they could stop weight training and just do interval training since it is beneficial for working out during exercise and after the workout.

The answer to that is NO. The reason why I say no is because lifting weights or using some form of resistance is the only way to tone and shape your body and tighten your skin. You do not want to lose fat and have sagging skin. Resistance training (even if it is lifting your own body weight) is the only way for you to tighten up your body, while at the same time you burn fat quickly.

Not all weight training workouts are made equal. The quickest way to burn fat through weight lifting is by doing multi joint (compound) exercises that simultaneously work different muscle groups at the same time. Not only will you spend less time working out, but your workout will be more effective at fat burning. Mike Geary does an excellent job of teaching very effective multi joint exercises in his program The Truth about Six Pack Abs.

Sidenote : By gaining 10 pounds of muscle you will burn an extra 3500 calories per week

When you incorporate weight training as part of your workout program, you should increase your calorie intake including carbohydrates and especially protein. Protein helps the muscles grow which helps to burn fat quickly.

Does Weight Training Make Women Bulky?

If you are a woman and you avoid lifting weights because you are afraid weight training will give you bulky muscles, you might be surprised to hear that it will not. To obtain those “bulky” muscles, you literally have to spend hours in the gym. The level of resistance training required for general good health will not produce bulk in women.

The hormone balance for men and women are not the same. Thus, it takes a lot of effort to look like a female body builder.

If you are worried about weight gain as a side effect of lifting weights, you should know that regularly incorporating weight training into your exercise regimen will actually help you control your weight and help you burn fat quickly.

True, you will likely gain a few pounds after you begin lifting weights. However, it is important to keep in mind that muscle is more dense than fat. This means that while muscle may weigh more, it takes up less space. So would you rather be 160 pounds of fat with a 38 inch waistline; or 160 pounds of muscle with a 29 inch waist? When it comes to losing weight, you should judge your progress by the use of a measuring tape more so than a scale, because losing fat is more important than losing weight…and if you want rapid fat loss then you must lift weights (even if it’s your own body weight).

As you lose fat and gain muscle, your weight may not decrease. This is why it is so important not to focus on the scale. How do your clothes fit? Are they looser? How about your appearance, do you feel a little more confident in how you look? Then don’t worry about what the scale says! You will very likely drop a size or two with little to no change in your weight.

With age you typically experience a decrease in the rate at which your body uses calories (metabolic rate). By regularly incorporating weight training, you offset the loss in muscle tissue that typically occurs in the aging process.

Ultimately, you avoid age-related weight gain when you prevent muscle loss. Muscle tissue is metabolically active, unlike fat tissue. This means that even at rest, muscle tissue is burning calories, and incorporating weight training into your workout is the quickest way to burn fat.

So yes, say goodbye to low calorie diets if you plan on exercising regularly. Your body needs the calories for energy so that you can feed your metabolism to keep burning fat quickly. Without the calories your metabolism will slow down because your muscles have no calories to give it energy.

Lastly, as you become stronger through weight training, you are likely to be more active. You will feel better and have more energy. This alone will promote a more active lifestyle. As a result you will spend less time sitting around – this equals more calories burned.

So what is the message to take out of this? Incorporating weight training exercises two to three times per week will promote a healthy attractive body, not a bulky physique.

Daily protein intake will limit the breakdown of proteins in your muscles used for energy when you cut down on calories. Your protein intake does not need to be as high as your energy intake (carbohydrates), but with an increase of anaerobic exercise (weight training), you need to increase your daily protein intake. Remember that muscles need protein for growth and conditioning which leads to a faster metabolism, which leads to burning stored fat.

Not all proteins are alike, and if you do not supply your body with the right types of protein, your body will still feed on your muscles for energy. Proteins are made up of amino acids, and there are nine types of amino acids that your body does not naturally produce; therefore you must get them from certain foods. These types of amino acids are called essential amino acids, and the protein that your body naturally produces is called non essential amino acids.

You need to understand why the right quality of protein should be consumed and how often you should consume it. That is why when you are looking for a protein drink or protein powder, you will hear so much talk about the quality of protein. The absolute best quality protein replacement drink out there is whey protein, but quality protein from the right types of food should always be your first choice over a protein replacement product.

The foods with the highest quality of protein are foods with complete protein – protein that contains both essential and non essential amino acids. Please understand that your muscles will not be properly conditioned without the presence of both essential and non essential amino acids. In other words, just because you eat something with protein does not mean that you are getting all the protein you need unless you eat foods that are complete with both types of amino acids.

Fat is actually an essential nutrient, but a very small amount is needed on a daily basis to maintain normal body function. Fat is also a back up reserve of energy when the body runs out of glycogen (carbohydrates are stored as glycogen). Cholesterol can be thought of a measure of dietary fat intake as it is found in the blood. Therefore, measured blood levels of cholesterol are a reflection of the dietary fat intake. The following is the different forms of fats:

Saturated Fats

Saturated fats are fats derived primarily from animal sources such as beef and similar products. These fats are hard at room temperature. Saturated fats are the type you generally would like to avoid. The more saturated fats you eat, the more cholesterol builds up in the blood and can increase the risk of heart disease and other problems.

However, If an animal is “free range” or “grass fed” and allowed to eat most of its diet through organic natural sources like grass, the meat will generally be much leaner and the fat from that animal will be much healthier to consume.

Most people are not aware of that. People assume that all saturated fat is bad, and that’s not true.

Unsaturated Fats

Unsaturated fats come from plant sources such as canola oil, olive, and similar products. Unsaturated fats consist of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fat.

Monounsaturated fats

It is recommended that you replace saturated fats with monounsaturated fats whenever possible as these are thought to be generally helpful from a health standpoint. Monounsaturated fats include peanuts, pecans, olives, and olive oil.

Polyunsaturated fats

Polyunsaturated fats can be further divided into omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids (also known as essential fatty acids).

Omega -3 Fatty Acids

Are found in fish oils and flaxseed oil; and are thought to be very beneficial to cardiovascular health. Omega-3 fatty acids reduce the tendency of blood to clot, and help the heart maintain a steady rhythm. They also reduce the body’s inflammatory response which is thought to reduce the likelihood of atherosclerotic plaque breaking off and clogging an artery. Omega -3 fatty acids smoothes skin and increases your metabolic rate at levels above 12% total calorie intake. This fatty acid will burn fat into carbon dioxide, water and energy.

Omega-6 Fatty Acid

These are similar to omega-3 fatty acids, and are essential for providing linolenic acid. Generally, omega-3 fatty acids are preferred over omega-6 fatty acids (but you still need both).

You can purchase supplements to get a daily supply of Omega-3, 6 and other Essential Fatty Acids (EFA). Remember flaxseed oil and Fish oil supplements will provide you with Omega-3.

Trans Fatty Acids (Chemically altered fat)

Trans fatty acid is an unsaturated fat that has basically turned into a saturated fat. This happens when unsaturated fats are processed (hydrogenised). Hydrogenation is a process by which oil becomes solid at room temperature. These oils are commonly found in processed foods such as peanut butter, margarines, crackers, and pastries. Hydrogenation also prolongs the shelf life of products. Make sure that you stay away from foods that say partially hydrogenated.

Sidenote: Stay away from foods that say “no cholesterol” or low saturated fat”. The reason is because these foods are highly processed to make up for the low saturated fat; therefore, they contain trans fat which can raise cholesterol levels more than saturated fat. You should also stay away from fat free foods as well. Fat free foods are nothing more than refined sugar. Remember this: when there is less of something, there is more of something else to supplement for it, and usually that something is much worse than what there is less of to begin with.

Everyone is looking for the fastest way to burn fat and keep it off. There are so many fat loss and diet programs out there today that teach you how to lose weight, but how do you know which ones actually work? Out of the programs that work, which one will help you to burn fat quickly?

As you sit there and study every word on this page, you think back to how you have gained more weight back then you had lost after trying one of the many diet plans out there. The more you read every page on this site, the more you become amazed at how much of the truth was being kept from you. I know your thinking about how you had lost time and money switching form one weight loss plan to another looking for the perfect plan that will help you to lose body fat fast and permanently.

Every time you find a new diet plan, you think you have discovered the best plan on earth to burn fat quickly because you started to see noticeable results in a short period of time. That increased your self esteem and reassured you that the diet worked…but if the diet worked you wouldn’t be reading this page.

Yes diets and weight loss programs work – just not in the way you want them to. Let me let you in on a little secret: These diets work for losing muscle tissue and water, but they don’t work for losing body fat. Of course they don’t tell you that, instead, the creators of quick fix diets and weight loss programs trick you into thinking that because you lost weight, your losing fat. They Make you think that when you “Lose 10 pounds or more in one week”, that you have lost 10 pounds of fat – This is simply not true!

Do you want to lose muscle tissue or fat, and do you want to lose fat permanently? How about losing fat naturally so you won’t waste money on expensive and unhealthy diet pills or formulas that only last temporarily (if they work at all)? A good diet plan is not a temporary fix; it is a permanent solution that you can stick to. Weight loss is a broad term. Just because the scale goes down does not mean your body fat went down too. Don’t be fooled!

There is one very important change that you must make starting today…

If you really want to lose body fat, then stop using the term “weight loss”, instead say “fat loss or fat burning”.

Your Diet Plan Could Create More Health Problems For You If You Don’t Know The WHOLE Truth…

Fitness experts and Doctors agree that any diet plan that restricts too much of one primary food group will result in muscle tissue and protein loss which slows down your metabolism, and could ultimately lead to serious health issues. You will also gain your weight back once you replenish your body with the lost nutrients due to the fact that losing the nutrients is what caused the excessive weight loss in the first place. On most plans, the actual weight loss from burning fat is minimal.

Also, you can’t lose body fat permanently from any “diet”. The word “diet” describes the way that you eat, and ignores the fact that you must include fat burning exercises along with your “diet plan” for fat loss to occur.

The Best Complete Fat Loss Programs will consist of the following 6 lessons:

1. Explain to you the difference between losing fat weight vs. losing muscle weight. If your fat loss program does not explain to you the process your body has to go through in order to burn fat, then more than likely your the plain is more focused on you losing muscle tissue, water, and protein. They don’t tell you this, instead they fool you by saying how much “weight” or “pounds” you will lose in a short time frame. Think about where the weight is coming from.

(hint: Most fat loss programs that work will advertise themselves as fat loss programs. In other words, they will not use the term “weight loss” they will focus on words such as “fat loss” and “fat burning”.)

2. Have an eating plan that is flexible and can be customized to fit your health needs. No two people are alike. Your eating plan should take your current health and fitness level into consideration. If the fat loss program’s eating plan can not be customized, then move on. Also, if the program is only about fat burning exercises, then keep in mind that you will need to purchase another healthy eating program to complement the exercise program. You absolutely must learn about fat burning nutrition along with working out.

3. Have a fat burning workout routine. An eating plan is only one half of an effective fat loss program. You must include fat burning exercises if you expect to lose body fat weight permanently and in a healthy natural way. If the fat loss program is only about fat burning nutrition, then you must purchase a fat burning exercise program to complement the nutrition plan so that you can burn fat quickly.

4. Explain to you the importance of having Carbs, Protein, Fats,Fiber, etc. in your diet. The best fat loss programs go in depth in explaining to you the functions of each of these vital nutrients and how they work together to burn fat quickly in your body. An effective fat burning plan will never trick you into believing that one nutrient is better than the other. The fact is, your body needs all the nutrients to perform certain functions. If you have too much of one and not enough of the other, then your body will not function properly which damages your health and your potential to burn fat.

5. Explain to you how you will be able to keep the body fat off permanently and continue to burn fat. What is the point of losing fat if it’s only for a short period of time? You need to know how to continue to burn fat repeatedly. The key to permanent fat loss is by increasing your metabolism. This is also the quickest way to burn fat. Any fat loss program that is serious about permanent fat loss will explain to you about how to lose fat without destroying your metabolism.

6. Explain to you how you can burn fat fast. Most fat loss (not weight loss) programs are very good at helping you burn fat fast. Rapid fat loss occurs naturally when you combine the right eating plan and exercise routines (because this increases your metabolism). You should have no problem with learning the fastest way to lose fat if the program focuses on both healthy eating and exercise.

My Favorite Fat Loss Program

There are many fat loss programs online that are actually very good, but my personal favorite is Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle. I know all about all the other programs out there too. Not only do I know about them, but I have bought the programs, read the material, watched the videos, and have tried all their recommendations.

One thing I have found within the past 8 years is the increase of fitness experts who have been selling fat loss information products online. There has been a huge increase in ebooks and videos related to fat loss – some are excellent and some are junk. Some are very long and full of details, some include ebooks, video examples, and plenty of explanations, and some are short and sweet. One thing is for sure when it comes to the internet – pretty websites with the right amount of copywriting skills will sell products fast, even if its complete junk. Pretty much anyone can sell information products online with the right amount of convincing.

So how do you know which ones are good or not? You ask someone who has purchased and used the programs.

With all that said, there is one fat loss program that separates itself from the rest, that program is Tom Venuto’s Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle.

Tom’s program is my all time favorite. I first purchased and read his ebook back in 2003 and no one has ever come close to writing anything better. This book is truly the Fat Loss encyclopedia…but that can be a problem for some. Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle is long and full of detail, so if you want something more short and to the point I suggest The Truth About Six Pack Abs by Mike Geary (this book is about total fat loss all over the body, not just the abdominals) as an alternative.

Tom Venuto’s Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle really helped me get a complete understanding about fat loss and nutrition. No one gets into more detail about the fat loss process like Tom. To sum the book up, it’s a complete guide on how to naturally increase your metabolism to burn fat.

The great thing about Tom is that not only is he a fat loss expert, but I like the fact that he gives away so much free fat loss information on his website. He really seems like he genuinely wants to help people, not just make a sale.

If you are a woman read below…

As of 2011 there are two programs that I feel are more beneficial to women than anything else out there. One program is focused on fat burning nutrition, and the other focuses on fat burning exercises. Together, these two programs will have you burning fat fast.

The two programs I highly recommend for women are The Diet Solution by Isabel De Los Rios and Full Body Licious by Flavia Del Monte. The Diet Solution will teach you all about healthy eating and how to eat for your particular metabolism type. No more calorie counting, counting points, restricting carbs, and all those other “diet” type of plans. You will learn exactly how to eat in a way that will keep your body healthy and in a fat burning state (note: this program is also an excellent healthy eating resource for men too).

As stated above, eating right is only half the battle – you must also incorporate exercise into your life if you expect to not only burn fat, but keep it off. The Diet Solution Program does mention working out, but it primarily focuses on how to eat to stay healthy and burn fat. That is why I recommend that you combine what you learn in that program with Full Body Licious. This program is new for 2011 and I absolutely love the workouts and how it is specifically targeted to women.

Unlike other female fitness experts, Flavia (who is the wife of Vince Del Monte) has created a program that has truely combined the fast fat burning routines that the men use and has tweaked it to be more beneficial to burning fat for women. This workout program consists of 5 day workouts that target a specific part of the body each day.

Even though an emphasis is placed on a particular body part each day, the type of workouts included will have you working your total body. In other words, all muscle groups are working simultaneously regardless of which body part is targeted. With these types of multi joint (compound) movements, your body will be burn more calories in a shorter period of time. Your resting metabolic rate will also increase, meaning you will burn more fat calories. Say good bye to those love handles and flapping underarm wings.

Flavia gives you a gym and a home workout version for each video as well as a print out guide complete with pictures of each exercise. The great thing about the videos is that you don’t have to wait for them to be shipped to you because they are online videos that you can access immediately after purchasing them.

Once again, if you are a woman I recommend that you get both The Diet Solution Program and Full Body Licious so that you will know exactly how to eat and exercise to naturally burn the most body fat in the shortest time possible.

Yes I have purchased and used both of these programs (as well as the others I recommend) so if you have any questions about them or any of the other programs I recommend on this page, feel free to ask me by commenting below.
