  • Chollas: Trout, catfish and huge carp biting here. Paul Woolery of the San Diego Fly Fishers reports that Chris Manokoune, a student at Kearny High, landed a carp that was estimated to weigh over 30 pounds. “Our scale at Lend-A-Rod only goes to 22 pounds,” Woolery said. Open daily to youngsters 15 and under. San Diego Fly Fishers sponsors a Lend-A-Rod program on Sundays from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m…..
