Some fishermen have had luck at Spring Creek using nightcrawlers and floating them off the bottom. Fly-fishermen have had success with black wooly buggers at Spring Creek. Streams close Nov. 15. Campgrounds are closed, but dry camping is allowed in the unsecure areas. The Last Chance Creek has been hot recently. One angler reported catching four nice browns in one day last week. Wiggin&#8217;s Trading Post, 530-993-4683.<o:p></o:p></span></font><span style="font-size: 13pt"><o:p><font face="Times New Roman"> </font></o:p></span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font face="Times New Roman"><st1:placetype w:st="on"><span style="font-size: 13pt">LAKE</span></st1:placetype><span style="font-size: 13pt"> <st1:placename w:st="on">DAVIS</st1:placename>: Fishing results continue to be excellent for experienced <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">Lake</st1:placetype> <st1:placename w:st="on">Davis</st1:placename></st1:place> anglers. Water temperatures are running from 50-53 degrees. The best bite has been from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ed Dillard of Dillard&#8217;s Guided Fishing caught and released 37 fish on Oct. 12. He was trolling cinnamon wooly buggers in the north end. The hot depth was from the surface down to 8 feet. Shore fishing has been good at Fairview Point at the north east end of the lake. Baits of choice have been Powerbait and or nightcrawlers presented on a sliding sinker rig. Fly-fishing in the north end shallows has been nothing short of awesome. Bill Forward of Forward Bound Guide Service caught and released 27 fish on Oct. 14. Ral Klundby and Chuck Kinzie caught and released 30 fish on Oct. 15. Effective patterns have been pheasant tails, olive hares ears and red copper Johns. An effective presentation has been to fish two flies under an indicator. Most fish are running 15-20 inches in length&#8230;&#8230;</span></font></p>
