Author: DevilDawg91
----------------------------------------

On my long throws, I always focus on coiling my body and spinning it had on the release. A good drill to practice spinning it hard is to throw it from your knees, using your only arm and wrist.

As for the hammer, I only throw it if I have a shorter, aggressive marker on me. Being 6'4" it's sometimes easier to throw it over somebody rather than work around them, but I only use it if I trust my reciever.

Hope this helps some.

Author: The Brucemaster
----------------------------------------

DevilDawg,

How do they structure the rest of their defence? If they have two deeps then it's more than likely there's going to be a numbers mismatch somewhere in the field. For instance, if they're playing a 2-2-3 (from the back) then you could try playing with two handlers and exploiting the numbers you have in the middle of the field with a short-pass running game, that way you negate the advantage that your opposition has with two...

I love being marked by a slower player since I know I'll get open. The thing to remember is that even if speed were equal then the offence would have an advantage in that they know when and where they are going to cut. That's why on D we don't stand on top of the receiver. Adjust the distance between your receiver and yourself depending on the speed difference. If (when) your man gets the disc, for...
