If they have 2 deeps then you should have someone unguarded somewhere unless your leaving two guys back there with the deeps. If you leaving two guys back with the deeps then stop that. Have the extra guy come forward and take advantage of them underneath until the deeps have to come forward and actually guard someone. On my long throws, I always focus on coiling my body and spinning it had on the release. A good drill to practice spinning it hard is to throw it from your knees, using your only arm and wrist.

As for the hammer, I only throw it if I have a shorter, aggressive marker on me. Being 6'4" it's sometimes easier to throw it over somebody rather than work around them, but I only use it if I trust my reciever.

I think it was a 2-2-3 like you said, with the force to the right, forcing us to throw forehands. That caused a lot of turnovers too.

The team we play against the most has a tough defense, and I need some help.

They play something almost like a cover two, with two deep guys playing a zone. Their deep guys can scoot and can really hop, taking away our biggest weapon, the deep threat.

What would be the best offense to adapt to in order to beat their defense?

Sounds to me like you are doing it right. I love being marked by a slower player since I know I'll get open. The thing to remember is that even if speed were equal then the offence would have an advantage in that they know when and where they are going to cut. That's why on D we don't stand on top of the receiver. Adjust the distance between your receiver and yourself depending on the speed difference.
