I would definitely disagree with the assessment that Ultimate is all about speed. Maybe that is how it is in pickup games. But in organized games there is much more strategy and technique in terms of offenses/defenses.

Down in Southern California, we play a mash up version of ultimate, goaltimate, soccer, hockey, and basketball. It is mainly a take off of ultimate and soccer. We call it "Froccer" (FRISBEE+SOCCER). Check it out:

I love Goalty! One of the best sports ever.

Anyone have any links on how to build your own kit? I don't really want to shell out $200 for the official kit.

I'm so glad i grew bored of this sport before the age of 13 or so.

For millions of kids, Trying to fall in love with sports, this is like hearing Jimi Hendrix couldn't Actually play guitar quite that well.

Our sport has what these guys wish their's still had.

Will be nice to see hwy boy Mark McGuire approach the guillotine sometime soon.
