It is very easy for you to be eligible to be in the running to win the flight ticket. All you have to do is grab your camera and go around shooting. The theme that needs to be portrayed is “What does flying home with Air Asia mean to you?” and so, be as creative as you possibly can! Do take note that the “Air Asia” logo HAS TO BE IN THE PHOTOGRAPH. Next, photogra­phers have to provide a short tagline that best represents their masterpiece.

As for how your photos will be judged, it will be through Facebook! To be pre­cise, it will be through UMSA’s Facebook group page. After submission, an al­bum will be created with all the entries and get your friends to like the photo because to clear the preliminaries, you need to be in the top ten most liked photo! Note that the period of the preliminaries will be up till 23^rd August 2010, 11:59 p.m. Any likes later than that will not be counted. Then, the win­ner will then be selected from the top ten photos and the winner will be an­nounced during the UMSA Annual Grand Ball 2010!

The photo and tagline have to be submitted latest by 20^th August 2010, 11:59 p.m.

The terms and conditions as follow apply to every entry:

1. Air Asia logo has to be in the entry photograph.

2.The entry photograph has to be put as the photographer’s Facebook pro­file picture one week prior to the ball. Random checks will be conducted and entries will be disqualified in the event of not having the photograph as the photographer’s Facebook profile picture in the set time frame.

3. Minor editing such as adjustment of contrast, levels, saturation and etc. are permitted. Extensive editing such as image superimposing or photo­shopping is not allowed.

4. Due date for submission is 20^th August 2010, 11:59 p.m. and the due date for the Facebook ‘like’s is 23^rd August 2010, 11:59 p.m.

5. Each participant is only entitled to one entry and each entry has to be ac­companied by a ball ticket. In other words, photographers have to attend the ball in order to receive the prize in the event of a win.

6. Judges’ decision is final.

Yes, UMSA Food Night’s back and this year, our theme revolves around the Baba and Nyonya culture or better known as the Peranakan culture. The Peranakan culture consists of the assimilation between the Malay and Chinese cultures and it all started to flourish in Malaysia (Tanah Melayu at that time) after the first few Chinese traders came from China.
