I’ve stayed at the Hard Rock in Vegas before.  In fact it was for a bachelor party.   And I’ll never forget doing the cabana thing by the pool.  We were there relatively early for summer so there was actually room outside.  However, it was still pretty packed.   But while I saw the hotties in the bikinis and the oiled skin, it just didn’t do it for me.

Why?  It was too loud and annoying.  This was almost 3 years ago and the first time I realized that I was truly getting old.  And today I was poking around watching videos of Rehab Pool parties only to get nostalgic.  Not so I could relive days of being a Myspace Toolbox (which I never was).  But because I used to have energy as a young man.

I’m still young.  Don’t get me wrong.  But there’s zero desire for me to go out anymore.  How sad.

Honestly I’m not quite sure how I arrived at this article but it’s certainly a bit random.  However, have you ever looked at a picture of clip from a movie and all of a sudden a quote from a different movie pops into your head?

I originally wanted to do some article based on funny faces from Karate movies.  But then I realized that any fighting scene from any movie has a funny face.  However as I perused these pictures, movie quotes popped into my head.

Now granted I wrote down the first thing that came to me so some of these might be a bit random.  Though some of them are quite appropriate if you put two and two together.

I tell ya if there’s one band that may very well live on until the day the earth explodes it would have to be The Beatles.  To this day old tracks are still being discovered, new facts pop up, and the amazing thing is that each time one of these things happens it becomes national news.

When you really think about it, these guys haven’t been a band in over 30 years yet each time “The Beatles” is uttered it’s a major cause of attention.

So when I came across these old pictures, even I who isn’t a huge fan was pretty impressed.

Tennis just isn’t the same anymore.  You don’t see guys like J-Mac and Jimmy Connors anymore.  Sure there’s fire but the new athletes don’t see to play to the crowd as much and you rarely see things that amaze you other than some great rallies from time to time.

I miss the showmanship.  I miss the tantrums.  I miss Ivan Lendl and Boris Becker.

Now all you got is the hope that some raging lunatic storms onto the court.  Thank God for that.  Nice tackle by the way.

Thanks to an email sent in by a fan of this website I was able to view some pictures of Lynda Redwine.   She’s a 26-year-old powerhouse hailing from Los Angeles.

The only information I have on her is this:

There’s a huge part of me that wants to watch “Pretty Boy” fall into a well somewhere and seriously damage his testicles.  However at the same time there’s also a huge part of me that wants to see this guy in a red blazer busting out “I wanna sex you up” on stage in front of all the little Myspace Toolboxes out there.

Whatever happened to those guys anyway?  They were very New Jack City.

Lenny Dykstra, a former star center fielder for the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, Reuters News Service reports.

Dykstra, 46, filed a petition on July 7 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Central District of California claiming no more than $50,000 of assets and between $10 million and $50 million of liabilities.

It wasn’t too long ago I saw an HBO Real Sports Program solely dedicated to Lenny.   In fact he was endorsed by Jim Cramer as being one of the “great ones” in stock picking.

So what the hell went wrong?  I guess having the name “nails” probably doesn’t help.  Also fudging the fact that you have car washes that are worth $50MM doesn’t help much either.

Let’s face it man.   Dykstra is meant to be one thing and one thing only:  A high school baseball coach.  How awesome would be be?  Seriously.

Of all of the “rugged” women sports, I think Lacrosse might be the only one I haven’t covered.  To me it’s got the same feel as soccer and field hockey.  And I don’t mean the sports themselves.  I mean the types of girls that play those sports.   You know, drinks a lot, gets sloppy but can still be hot? So let’s just start off with the Lacrosse team from Delaware shall we?

And why Delaware?  Well because the school has a 6 to 1 girl to guy ratio for one.  Second is that these girls definitely know how to party.  Third.  I would say at least 1/3 of the girls on this squad are legitimately attractive.  Now how often does that happen?

Here you’ll get the typical tongue to tongue, gangster pose type of stuff one would expect from any social networking profile picture.  Some kids just never learn.
