Who would of known that in 1865 that cowboys had blazed the trails for boot makers to start experimenting with fancy stitching and leather to change boots from a practical tool to a fashion statement. Outsmart the Black Friday Frenzy

Here at Cowgirl Kim we want to offer you a way to outsmart the Black Friday frenzy. I know that shopping in the malls can be hectic for the next month. Shopping at my store is easy, friendly and satisfies that shopping urge that you might have after a nice Thanksgiving Dinner. We had a nice family dinner and hope that you enjoyed this joyous time of year splurging on fine foods, enjoying the love of family around the table, and relaxing with a fine glass of wine while you shop through my store. We want to make it easy, relaxing and fun.

This gorgeous turquoise and sterling belt is huge in style. A great size for lots of uses,
this one will even go through most belt loops. Crafted by Navajo Silversmith, this belt is
comprised of eleven conchos of natural cut polished turquoise slabs. Just imagine how
this would look with blue jeans and your ammunition boots.

Another beauty found on my adventure to New Mexico is the Squash Blossom Necklace and Earrings. The history of the Squash Blossom goes back to the Navajo Indians, then made by the Hopi and Zuni Indians. To this day it is still made by all three (3) tribes. Navajo Silversmith "R Bennett" has taken fifty (50) luminous blue upon blue turquoise cabochons and bezel set them in pure sterling silver.

One central larger piece is flanked by two (2) slightly smaller

similar pieces. The artist knows this gorgeous turquoise is the star

of the show, keeping the settings simple, as well as stringing the

turquoise pieces on a double strand of plain antiqued Navajo

"pearls".

The artist has included a pair of matching earrings--stunning on their own, and simply showstopping when paired with the necklace.

This is not the end of this cowgirl's dream. Drowning in southwestern stones raining down like beautiful colors in a rainbow this "concho" belt is one of a kind. This Federico Petit Point Spiny Oyster Belt is a standout piece. He has been making jewelry for years and his jewelry has been worn by celebrities like Elle McPherson, Christi Brinkley, and Ali McGraw.

These rounds are comprised of pure sterling silver
and bezel set domed tiny spiny oyster cabochons.
The center has a "wagon wheel" look and each row is
separated with a sterling rope detail. 37" long, it can
be worn smaller by hooking between the rounds. Several rounds
are stamped with Federico's hallmark and "sterling".
