Ableton Vs Maschine – Which One is Best?

We stumbled upon a bit of a debate while looking into how to deal with some upcoming tutorials. Apparently, a very hot topic of debate out there is being approached as “should I get Ableton or Maschine?” In other cases it manifests as just, “Ableton vs. Maschine.” I think this is an interesting approach to the topic. I’m not going to say this is the wrong way to approach these kind of decisions. I do, however, want to suggest that this mentality suffers from some critical issues that often make the discussion derail itself early on in a forum context.

We have just received the Kaossilator 2 and the Mini KP2 and we are stoked to get our hands on them. Korg first introduced the Kaoss Pad in 1999 and it was a one-of-a-kind touch pad effects unit that took the world by storm.

I remember the first time I used the original Kaoss Pad during a gig many years ago; it was a lot of fun to use because it had a lot of cool effects and it was really the first FX touch pad that I had ever seen. After having a fun filled Spring (break, for you students), the Summer is almost upon us! Here in the beautiful (Dirty) South, the summer climate gets quite toasty, signalling that it is time to get ready for the the beach, lake, or the pool, and of course, the massive summer festivals. Growing up I always looked forward to my summers, because I could be at the beach from dawn to dusk, along with masses of beautiful people, wearing next to nothing, with little to no responsibilities.
