Heaven and Earth got blogged about for Spring here and it had some shop coordinates, but now Spring is here and I’ve gathered over 50 pictures of Spring shop staff coordinates and nails from sleek rock brand Heaven and Earth. There’s a lot of shop staff with short hair. Some have piercings (like above), lots of long acrylic nails, and many seem to be tanning. Browns emphasized in make-up with lashes that pop but don’t distract.

Trendwatching: Bone Hands

Skull and crossbones are everywhere in gal and some gyaru brands are tiring out that motif (Real MA*RS I’m looking at you). However there’s a lot of other cool bones styles that makes my rock heart sing. However it’s not just for rock loving gals!

I even downloaded a new font for this (successkid.jpg). Fig & Viper is copying UNIF, but Glad News keeps it mostly original. That bone hand becoming a gun for JSG is pretty damn cool!

A look beyond the skull & crossbones and hands. The pure black and white graphic style of those Monkey Bite earrings make them need to be in my life. B-gyaru is showing bones are not just for rock, she’s looking badass.

Shop Akira is an on-line shop based in Chicago that has all the top western brands: Jeffrey Campbell, Motel Rocks, UNIF, Mink Pink, House of Harlow and more. But they also have their own label, which is really well priced and stylish! I also think many of their original pieces can easily be rocked on trend right now and their prices are less than the gyaru brands!

Shop Akira asked me to try one of their original pieces out and I picked out their dot print shirt. I talked about how the dot print is trending this summer, but I had yet to buy myself something. Shop Akira had something which suited my style!

Looks similar, but I definitely prefer the ShopAkira one. Less pouffyness around the belly, which is always a plus. Yet 50% off!

OraOra Magazine JAPSTA and Oraora inspired nail art

Japsta (ジャップスタ) is an Oraora magazine for men that showcases OraOra brands like a big catalog (amazon.jp link). I bought it last time in Japan and decided to take a few pics to show you the inside since it presents a different portrait than Soul Japan and Soul Sister.

It’s more low budget and only has 3 main models. One of which I have no idea how he got in there. With his awkward snarl to show his grill each time and Willie Nelson braids, I have absolutely no idea what Japsta was thinking.

Clothing and more of an MMA twist. Their ladies models (the one above) is not ORAORA but possibly a ring girl.

OraOra print inspired nails

I decided to do a nail wheel based on clothing I saw in Japsta.

I also decoupaged using a few clippings from a Soul Sister. It was my first time decoupaging, and I definitely need to work out the kinks before I try it on my own nails.

Clothing and accessories that worked as some of the inspiration of the nails.

If I could perfect the Oni nail I’d totally wear it (don’t know who else would). Overall I wasn’t as pleased as I usually am when finishing a wheel, but I guess it’ll make me work harder

More shop staff Niigata Alta. A short post, but I just love what these ladies are doing.

Runway Channel – Emoda – Niigata Alta

Niigata Alta had a special Runway Store where they sold Jouetie, Murua, Emoda, Laguna Moon and more brands all in one store. But the highlight of the store was this girl dressed in an agejo style all in Emoda brand. I thought she was so interesting. No nails for an agejo styled girl, but she got hairset. I just love how she decided to enjoy agejo within Emoda. I would have never thought agejo would work for all in Emoda, but she did it.

Lip Service – Niigata Alta

These girls make me smile when I look at them. They were so incredibly nice!

They told me all about Niigata gals and the make-up of men’s style in Niigata. We all like the same music as well so we had a long music talk.

Then they recommended me a place to eat that turned out to be delicious.

They also had such cute nails that I forgot to take pictures of. Such a shame

Eyelashes in Japanese Cosmetic Stores part 1

I’m heading back to Japan in 3 weeks and I realized there’s so many photos I haven’t shared yet! Like way too many. There are too many that you might get a mix of photo posts and brand info for a while.

Photos in this post mainly from Odakaya in Kabukicho, Shinjuku which has is on the same street as the Kabukicho Donki but is much easier to navigate and has the same eyelash selection.

Saved the best for last! Jewerich 6 & 7 are my favorite top lashes.

I’m not done with eyelash photos and photos inside cosmetic stores. I have more next week and the week after.
