Who knew that ten year-olds and their moms could make such hilarious videos? This went WAY better than expect, as the kid’s voice is dead on despite him being nowhere near puberty. Great stuff.

So needless to say that we don’t talk about music on the site here, and for good reason. Me trying to review music is about as productive as an elephant trying to solve a Rubix Cube, and therefore I try to stay away from it as much as I can.

Today, I’m not posting Lady Gaga’s video for Bad Romance to talk about the music, I just think that it’s kind of important to mark one of those moments that feel like the future has actually arrived. Like the first time you found your house on Google Earth, or when you played with your iPhone for the first time.

In this case, Lady Gaga’s video to me encompasses the future of pop, and I’m heavily reminded of Chris Tucker’s character in The Fifth Element. That was what, the year 3000 and we all laughed at how comically over the top his hair and clothes were? Well, we’ve had pop stars wearing wigs and sequins for years, but to me Gaga is the only artist who is truly trying to change everything, and after watching this video, I couldn’t help but think that finally, I was living in the future if THIS is now the world’s most popular artist.

And yeah, I kind of dig the song.

Court records show actor James Van Der Beek has filed for divorce from his wife of nearly six years.

The former “Dawson’s Creek” star filed for divorce Friday in Los Angles. He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split with actress Heather McComb. The couple were married in July 2003 and have no children. [Via MSNBC]

But I do have to pause for two seconds as there is actually a company attached to the game called Prayer Works International. This is also likely fake, but it makes me think that maybe, maybe I could actually play this one day. And it would be AWESOME.

Growing up Presbyterian, I missed out on all the fun ridiculous ceremonies of the Catholic Church like lighting candles and swingning urns of incense around, but now thanks to the Wii, I can participate like I’m actually there and filled with shame!

But if it’s fake, I’ll just leave my Wii collecting dust next to my decidedly dust-free Xbox. Wake me up when Mario Galaxy 2 comes out.

As I played through the campaign mode of Modern Warfare 2 last week, I pondered that video game cutscenes aren’t really going to exist pretty soon. With in-game graphics catching up to cut-scene graphics, a lot of times there’s no real need to break from gameplay to show something truly epic, I thought to myself as I hauled ass across the National Mall dodging helicopters and fighter jets falling from the sky after an EMP pulse.

However, that certainly wasn’t always the case, which is why I’ve assembled this collection of the best video game cutscenes I could find. I haven’t played all these games, as a lot of these were suggestions (thanks Reddit!), but the ones in this list that stayed with me the most was almost anything found in Final Fantasy X, the amazing sing-a-long outro for Portal and the pure evil found in many of the Twisted Metal closing films.

See all those and more below, and if I’ve missed anything, shoot me a link and if I like it, I’ll add it to the list.

How do I say this without sounding insensitive? The Japanese are into some weird shit. Of course I’m aware that there’s a massive cultural difference, but I’m always more fascinated/scared of Japanese stuff than I am others. Like, tentacle rape porn? Wow. Anyway, Domo-kun is one of those strange Japanese inventions that for some reason I really like.

The first image of Domo-kun I had ever seen was on that poster that read “Every time you masturbate, God kills a kitten.” Pretty funny. Domo-kun is the mascot of a Japanese television station and, a lot like Hello Kitty, has appeared on all sorts of things. What the hell it actually is, I have no idea.

Take a look at Domo-kun taking over just about anything you can think of after the jump.

American Gothic is a painting Grant Wood created in 1930, after he was inspired by a small, white house in Eldon, Iowa.
The painting depicts hard work and domesticity in the 19th century, but frankly, we find it a little boring.
Here are 25 improvements on the classic work of art.
