Sunday had the perfect beach alfresco weather. I craved for some chilli mussels at The Blue Duck and can’t complain about the view either. After another round of coffee at West End Deli, i headed into the city and picked up a great deal on my new laptop. Back in touch with the rest of the world! :)

Oh man, this week has been insane. Having to deal with nice cops about a home destruction from a drunk driver (not my home) and then my laptop suddenly died last night (WHAT! NO CONNECTION TO THE WORLD OUTSIDE!) so it was nice to share some comfort food with friends at my favorite Indian place.  This week can’t be over fast enough.

Friday the city was bustlin’ with life! The Twilight Hawkers Markets were on and not far from that was the Fringe World Festival. Despite the array of temptations (check out ‘em ribs on the giant Weber!), we headed for sizzling tofu and chili pepper ribs instead.

I have been living on fresh greens and prosciutto all week. It’s a good change in diet from rice and noodles to simple uncomplicated food. Seriously how else can you eat in this heat!

Oh and sometimes i sneak in a little of this too. Don’t judge me.

This is what happens when you discover a new app on one of your last days of holiday. You take a photo of anything! It has been quite a trip home. The longest i have stayed and i have enjoyed every minute of it. I can’t wait to do it all over again :)
