Heading into the world cup Klose had already scored 14 world cup goals in 3 previous world cups 1 short of Ronaldo’s record goal tally. Klose was expected to play super sub role in the world cup and he came from the bench and scored against Ghana to draw level on 15 goals with Ronaldo. He broke the most goals record in world cup record in the semifinals when he scored against Brazil.

James Rodriguez Awesome Goal:

All the world cup commersials and advertising campaigns were focused on Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar to light up the world cup but it was James Rodriguez who truly mesmarised with his silky skills and consistently performances. He ended up winning the golden boot scoring 6 goals for Colombia and he also scored the best goal of the world cup against Uruguay in the round of 16 match. He chested the ball down 25 yards from goal and unleashed a superb left foot volley.

Colombia played the best football in the world cup by far, they played the attacking brand of football and they literaly scored goals for fun. Take a look at some of their goal celebration specialy the first goal when Pablo Armero scored against Greece and created those fabulous dance moves with his team mates.

Neymar Injury:

The hope and the golden “Poster Boy” of Brazil Neymars World Cup ended with a bad injury when Colombia defender Juan Zuniga challenged Neymar from behind with a raised knee which resulted in a horrific back injury for Neymar who was lead to hospital immediately. After that what happend we all witnessed 7-1 defeat in semifinals and 3-0 defeat in the 3rd place match.

Brazil 1-7 Germany:

The scoreline says it all, the biggest defeat in the history of world cup knockout games and the biggest for Brazil ever. 5 goals during 19 minutes of defensive lapses and some superb Germany gameplay in the first half lead to what Brazil’s first home defeat since 1975 and thats 64 competitive matches.

2014 Cricket Champions IPL T20 Match This year takes place in India from September 13 till October 4. Only 4 venues will host the tournament–Raipur, Mohali, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

IPL 2014 Analysis

The BCCI has announced the schedule of Champion League T20, 2014 tournament. The tournament will be played by the champion teams of different countries which have won the domestic T20 tournaments in their respective countries. The success of earlier editions of the Champions League has created great interest among cricket fans and like the past editions we can expect another action packed tournament full of sixes and fours. A total of 12 teams will be competing for the title.

The tournament is been divided in two phases which means we will have a qualifying round and a main round.8 teams have already qualified for the main round and the remnant two teams will enter the main round only after playing the qualifying round which will be played by four teams. The qualifying round will be brief, implying that each team to play one match against a particular opponent and will last three days, from 13th to 16th of September.

Northern Knights (NewZealand)
Southern Express (Srilanka)

teams which have already qualified for the main round have been divided into two Groups, named Group A and Group B. 1 qualifying team will be placed in each of these groups.
