A fullsize Ganz Webkinz plush toy (PLUSH ONLY - NO CODE & NO HANG TAG). For ages 3 and up. Surface washable. The finely detailed shoes can be taken on and off for lots of extra shoe-tying practice! THE BOOK: “Dogs Don’t Wear Sneakers” by Laura Numeroff (author of “If You give a Mouse a Cookie”), illustrated by Joe Mathieu, c. 1993, January 2005 edition by Aladdin Paperbacks - New York, NY. Size is about 6 1/2″ x 8 3/8″, 30 pages. For ages 3-8. Animals would look pretty silly doing a lot of the things people do all the time. The unlikely combinations in Laura Numeroff’s cheerful rhymes and Joe Mathieu’s bright, zany pictures will make you laugh out loud: dogs running marathons, pigs and siamese cats in the opera, sheep in the shower, goats shaving, bears in the bathtub, bowling moose, swimming hens, roosters lifting weights, skunks on scooters, beavers on skates, frogs in taxi cabs, dancing cows, skiing yaks, bees baking honey buns, fish eating bagels, penguins teaching science, sunbatheing rabbits, parrots in tutus, lambs selling shoes, gnus building houses, mules painting pictures, ducks riding bikes, raccoons with knapsacks, bulls flying airplanes and snails saving twine. At the end of the story, children are encouraged and invited to use their imaginations and creativity when they’re asked “But tell me what you see?”

Head Titanium Ti-S6 Tennis Racquet Review

Our Review:
Tennis Magazine gave A’s in all four categories. Power, Comfort, Control and Maneuverability. One of the best all time rated racquets.

The Head TI-S6 tennis racquet is the #1 selling racquet in America for a reason. Head produced the TI-S6 to have all the answers for the club player with a compact swing. Its superior titanium design allows a level of control rarely seen in a racquet with this much power. The maneuverability of a light weight racquet is there, but we were surprised by how solid it was on off center shots.

By using a fan string pattern, virtually the entire face is a sweet spot. As a result, ground strokes and serves hit off center are still hit very solid. At 27 3/4 long, the TI-S6 gives you the power advantage of a longer racquet without sacrificing maneuverability and control.

One of the standout characteristics of this racquet is how easy it is to hit heavy top spin shots. Underspin shots have a comfortable feel as well. Also, there is great stability on the top of the racquet face while serving.

So many satisfied customers agree - for players with compact strokes who want to increase power, there is no better racquet. Tennis Magazine concurs, giving it straight As for Power, Comfort, Control, and Maneuverability. This is one of the best rated racquets of all-time.

Whether it’s been a match from the well established stars on the tour to the new up and coming talents, this season has given all tennis fans something to smile about. Who can forget THAT Wimbledon men’s singles final? In years to come, we may look back at the history books and determine that it was on Sunday 6th July that signaled the changing of the guard for the title of world’s greatest tennis player, as Rafael Nadal finally became the first man to beat Roger Federer on grass, and end his 59-match unbeaten run. It was truly a Wimbledon epic and worthy of any Grand-Slam tournament final, and will live long in the memory for many years to come. With all this excitement, tennis is set to be one of the hot sports of the summer and not just for the British who suddenly find themselves with both ladies’ and men’s hopefuls for the future. We can look forward to more thrilling matches from Andy Murray and his brother Jamie, who are competing together in the men’s doubles in the upcoming B …

Sonja Blue follows in the tradition of Blade, but her unfortunate torture and medical intervention incident comes at a much later age. Attacked by a vampire she managed to avoid the whole vampire demon thing and ends in a hospital, and then an asylum.

This leads her on a pretty dark psychological journey after escape, and given she is immune to most vampire weaknesses in this universe - sunlight, holy water, being really stupid because of transformation which she escapes, becoming a vampire slayer is a natural for her after it is suggested.

No romance here, in this dark and twisted supernatural world with many other monsters other than vampires.

3.5 out of 5
Customer Review: Slow Start; Confusing Prose
The book starts in an asylum where “Blue, S.” is the newest addition to the Danger Ward. Her interior monolog is awkwardly written; the segues into the life of an orderly and the antics of a female tele-evangelist seem more like poorly written subplots than actual narrative elements. Finally, around page 116, Sonja Blue breaks out of her institutional prison, and the pace picks up.

Sonja’s descriptions of her “birth” (becoming a vampire) and her years slumming around Europe are interesting, sometimes tasteless. The hunting sprees (she hunts other vampires) add some action, but are more or less pointless. The final climactic event (Sonja vs. Crazed Tele-evangelist) was one other high point, but on the scale of Sonja’s life doesn’t register higher than a blip. Thus, the entire book seems like an excuse to waste paper and the ending screams “sequel” but I won’t be reading it.

Sonja Blue is not a badass. She is a scarred, deeply disturbed girl (disappointingly, she became a vampire because she was stupid, and then runs around hating her maker). The book itself is filled with blood and guts, tasteless sex, none of it exceptionally well-written. Get this one from the library.

If you are looking for surf without the crowd that typifies nearby Waikiki Beach, Ala Moana Beach Park is your best option. Plus, you can also view Diamond Head from here. Located between Waikiki and Honolulu, Ala Moana Beach Park is the favorite of locals, and families tend to hang out here on weekends and in summer. It’s easy to understand why. Behind the beach, the park offers plenty of picnic shades, running trails, tennis courts, and other entertainment facilities. Ala Moana may be a quieter and calmer place to relax, but its surf condition fares no less than that of Waikiki Beach. Protected by an outer reef, the water in Ala Moana Beach is always calm. It is considered safe for children, and ideal for swimming, body boarding, boogie boarding, and surfing. However, water visibility is poor so children should always be watched and made sure they don’t stray from the shore. Also, waters in the beach channel can be deceptive. If you are a weak swimmer or a beginner, do not swim near …

The Microgel Prestige offers the ultimate control of Head’s players racquets, utilizing a more forgiving mid plus head in combination with a very dense string pattern. Surprisingly maneuverable thanks to a nicely weighted head light balance.

Head has kept most specifications consistent with the Flexpoint Prestige, but now with the added benefit of MicroGel technology. MicroGel offers aggressive, competitive players ultimate feel, unique touch, and added stability. When combined with carbon composite fibers in the racquet head, MicroGel deforms and compresses upon ball impact, uniformly absorbing and distributing the impact load around the entire frame, creating a rock-solid feel while offering extra stability against twisting.
