The World Food Chain from the Animals’ Perspective – March 1st

the-true-food-chain_5071f778abdffMost people don’t think about where their food comes from or what consequences it has on the environment nor even their own health.  Rev. Kathy Rosario will be addressing the World Food Chain from the Animals’ Perspective.  How does it impact the animals?  What can we do to change things?

Sunday Service from 11 AM – Noon

Then stick around and help give your input at the Board Meeting.

Board Meeting from Noon – 1 PM.

Eclectic Mind Shoppe – March 1st

9dd958a237f967cb2958c354ff0c9e9dWe are now holding Eclectic Mind Shoppe classes every Sunday from 10 AM – 11 AM.

I bet you are now wondering to yourself what the Eclectic Mind Shoppe is exactly.  Well, let me tell you a little bit about it.

Each week will be a different topic with a different theme each month.  What a wonderful way to start off your week!

March – Candle Magic.

April – The Power of the Word.

May – Learning the Tarot.

These classes are all very much hands-on learning experiences.  We want you to be as much a part of the learning instead of just sitting and listening to someone just tell things to you.

The suggested donation for these classes is $5 per class.  They are definitely well worth it.

Just SMILE to donate

Amazon has made it easier to donate to your favorite charities and that includes the Unitarian Fellowship of South Florida.  So how can you take advantage of this easier way?  Let me show you how to set it up.

Step 1 – Go to smile.amazon.com

Step 2 – Sign in using your normal Amazon.com login information

Step 3 – You will be asked to chose a charity.  Make sure you chose Unitarian Fellowship of South Florida Inc.  You can not use any abbreviations while searching for the name.  Unfortunately, it is based off our full legal name.

Step 4 – Once you have selected the charity, you should be taken to Amazon’s main page.  At the top of the page, instead of just saying Amazon, it will now say Amazonsmile and next to it will show the charity you are supporting.  Double check to make sure that it is correct.  If you chose the wrong one, just click on the name of the charity and change it.

Step 5 – Shop as usual and .05% will be donated on eligible purchases

Make sure to bookmark smile.amazon.com in order to continue giving on each purchase.  If you do happen to forget, it will prompt you when you go to the Amazon main page if you want to shop using smile.

I know that .05% isn’t much, but it does add up.
