    <description>&lt;p&gt;The mission of the Phinney Neighborhood Association (PNA) is to build community by providing programs, services, and activities aimed at connecting neighbors and fostering civic involvement in the greater Greenwood-Phinney-Ballard Community.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This position is located at our Greenwood Senior Center, 525 N. 85th Street which provides over 85 monthly health-related, educational, recreational and social activities, plus a daily lunch program for older adults.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Position Overview: The Gathering Place Program Facilitator position is a part-time contract position responsible for working alongside the GSC director and social worker to develop, coordinate and facilitate GSC's weekly enrichment program for adults living with Early Stage Memory Loss (ESML). This position involves volunteer and instructor supervision as well as program facilitation, and reports to the GSC Social Worker. Schedule for work: Thursdays, 12:30 – 4:30 p.m. as well as prep time and meetings as needed.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description>&lt;p&gt;The Digestive Disease Institute at Virginia Mason is a nationally recognized leader in the multidisciplinary care of gastrointestinal disorders with strategic research and educational focus on pancreatic, liver, and esophageal disease. The Digestive Disease Institute seeks a business analyst to utilize systems technology to design and implement databases and enhancements to existing computer-based systems. This position will work independently and with team members and leadership to ensure objectives are achieved through effective definition, planning, implementation, maintenance and reporting.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES&lt;br /&gt;1. Utilize knowledge of Digestive Disease Institute and knowledge of systems technology to identify and develop improvements to computer-based systems dedicated to clinical diagnoses in digestive disease. For example, select appropriate technologies to capture, sort, analyze, report and present clinical data efficiently. Consult with internal and external system users (e.g., health care providers, vendors, VMMC staff) to create, maintain and report from large, customized databases and ensure system design changes are compatible with existing processes. Provide support for design and approval of data-driven research studies.&lt;br /&gt;2. Participate in operational and organizational studies in Digestive Disease Institute. Analyze structure and flow of work to develop recommendations for changes in business unit processes and/or technologies.&lt;br /&gt;3. Assists assigned business units and other VM staff (e.g., IT) as appropriate, and external parties (e.g., vendors), in determining cost-effective solutions to problems.&lt;br /&gt;4. Develops and delivers training and operating procedures. Provides training for new applications, utilizing vendor-supplied applications (e.g., tutorials) where appropriate.&lt;br /&gt;5. Resolves production problems by analyzing the cause of the error and determining the correct course of action to restart processing in an accurate and timely manner.&lt;br /&gt;6. Develops specifications for enhancements and reports. Works with the requesting customer, to implement reports and/or changes.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description>&lt;p&gt;The de Tornyay Center for Healthy Aging seeks a committed, enthusiastic, and creative graduate nursing student with a passion for work with older adults for a 25% FTE Graduate Staff Associate II in support of the Center’s programs and activities (additional 5-10% FTE may be possible). The de Tornyay Center serves as a catalyst for promoting healthy aging through its support of research and education in the field of gerontology for the School of Nursing, the University of Washington, and the broader community.This position offers a nursing graduate student an opportunity to develop program coordination and leadership skills in support of education, research, and clinical practice.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Roles and Responsibilities of the SA include:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The successful applicant will work with the Center leadership, advisory board, other faculty and staff, and community professionals to plan, develop, promote, and coordinate logistics for Center activities throughout the year, including:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Communications for the Center website, meetings, and stewardship with donors, such as:

Plan and coordinate other Center-sponsored events and activities, such as the Fall Open House, student scholarships, lectures, gerontology faculty retreats, health fairs, receptions and other events as needed.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Develop curricular and research resources and opportunities, as well as enhance their utilization.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist with grant writing activities.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Participate in strategic planning retreats with Center leadership.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Collaborate with student leaders regarding SoN gerontology related  initiatives and the Gerontology Student Ambassadors to enhance  communication and community building&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Coordinate      with pediatric clinical faculty liaison regarding the delivery of&amp;nbsp; lesson plans&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Teach      and assist in lab with undergraduate and graduate nursing students&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist      with recording student attendance in lab training periods&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Attend      CENE staff meetings&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Compile pediatric evaluations at conclusion of labs and send summary to course coordinator and dept head&lt;/li&gt;

    <description>&lt;p&gt;A Teaching Assistant is needed in the Department of Biobehavioral Nursing and Health Systems to provide support for &lt;b&gt;NURS 309/310: Pharmacotherapeutics in Nursing Practice I and II. &lt;/b&gt;These courses emphasize the principles of pharmacology, drug therapy, pharmacologic-therapeutic classes of drugs, clinically important prototype drugs, and drug information resources. Nursing issues related to drug administration are also discussed. NURS 309/310 is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:40-12:30.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span&gt;Roles and Responsibilities of the TA include:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Teaching Assistant will work with the instructor to provide assistance and support with class and course materials:&lt;/p&gt;

    <description>&lt;p&gt;The GKNF-US scholarship for Korean American Nurse Scholar is awarded annually through national competition. The primary purpose of this scholarship is to support future Korean nursing leaders for the development of nursing and clinical sciences. The scholarship is awarded to one or two scholars annually in the amount of $ 2,000 each.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Applicant must be a Korean American doctoral candidate in nursing. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0 on the doctoral coursework and has received approval for his or her research proposal for dissertation. Research proposals related to improving health of Korean Americans are preferred.&lt;/p&gt;
