<li>Work as a chief user advocate on each project team responsible for promoting user needs while integrating recommendations of the project team and translating business and user requirements into a workable, efficient solution. </li>
<li>Work within the Consumer Products group to plan, develop, and perform user research and usability activities (including heuristic evaluations, usability testing and other testing methods) across YELLOWPAGES.COM consumer products, </li>
<li>Responsible for researching, designing, and documenting user interfaces and features </li>
<li>Production and maintenance of Information Architecture deliverables such as wireframes, personas, site maps, task flows, etc. </li>
<li>Responsible for innovative information organization structures, interaction designs, page-level content organization, and navigation </li>
<li>Work within a multidisciplinary group of stakeholders, project managers, engineers, and designers to refine and transform user needs into usable user interfaces. </li>
<li>Reports to Associate Director, Human Factors </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Master&#x2019;s Degree in Human Factors, HCI, Cognitive Psychology or related discipline. </li>
<li>Interest in user research/usability testing methodologies and user-centered design </li>
<li>Experience with planning and execution of usability testing strategies </li>
<li>1-2 years experience in information architecture/user interface design and relevant application (Visio, Illustrator, etc.) and design process expertise </li>
<li>Expertise in information architecture deliverables including wireframes and site maps </li>
<li>Knowledge of general user interface design guidelines, usability engineering methods </li>
<li>Excellent collaborative, verbal, and written communication skills </li>
<li>Excellent multi tasking skills </li>
</ul>

<p>You're a sharp-minded innovator that breathes digital but can also interpret business strategy to identify the right interactive solution. You can then frame it up with sketches, wireframes, and the verbal acumen required to sell and support the technology solution to clients and internal teams. If this is you, won't you be our UX Strategist?</p>

<p>The UX Strategist will be responsible for bringing user-centered design tools &amp; processes to client business problems. Will help translate brand, user, and retailer goals into actionable, technology-driven solutions. Must be able to synthesize creative, insight, and technology inputs to define solutions-focused customer experiences.</p>

<p>We're a mobile first technology group. As digital shopper marketers, we recognize that the mobile device is the first, best opportunity to engage customers to the benefit of retailers and brands. According, you must be fluent in both iOS and Android operating systems. HTML 5 sensibilities are a huge plus. <strong>One to five years' </strong>experience in a user-centered design environment necessary; experience with Adobe creative suite preferred, as is experience with CPG brands.</p>

&lt;p&gt;I work for a payment processing gateway company called USA ePay (think Square, Paypal,&amp;nbsp;&lt;a style="color: #006ae3;" href="http://Authorize.net/"&gt;Authorize.net&lt;/a&gt;) in the Mid-Wilshire area of LA. We have a ton of products in the pipeline that cover the gamut of screens (not sure about Blackberry anymore though. Looking sketchy.). Native desktop &amp;amp; mobile apps as well as responsive web apps.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Here's what I'm looking for:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A jr.-mid level User Interface Designer that can &lt;strong&gt;speak human&lt;/strong&gt;, has a canny ability to &lt;strong&gt;design beautifully useful interfaces&lt;/strong&gt; and garnish them with a pinch of &lt;strong&gt;personality&lt;/strong&gt; and &lt;strong&gt;delight&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Duties &amp;amp; Responsibilities:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Work with people (tricky!)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to create detailed wireframes and graphics to feed our hungry engineers&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to work well with others and in small groups. Don't bite. It's not cool&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Work on site. Sorry, no telecommuting&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Qualifications:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Not afraid of a white board&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Not afraid to code&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Able to put yourself in the users shoes and think as the user&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Expert knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Is comfortable with any one of the bazillion wire framing/mock-up apps out there&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strong knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS 3&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Can do some basic tricks with Javascript/JQuery (slideToggle)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;LESS, CoffeeScript and Twitter Bootstrap experience a big plus&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;You have or had a side business and know what a merchant account is. Not key, but will help&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Positive Attitude :)&amp;nbsp; No party pooppers!&lt;/li&gt;
