Webcam Max ver6.0.1.9-Webcam Broadcasting Software Review

For the very first time within this past couple of weeks, I decided to try a program called "Webcam Max" by CoolwareMax Inc. and I have to say that I was not disappointed. I was first introduced to the program through a website called Ustream.tv and noticed that there was a lot of users on the site that swore by this program and it's capabilities. I was a little skeptical at first, mostly because I had never heard of it, but decided to check it out anyway. I have to say I'm glad I did.

After downloading version 5.4.0.8 initially, I noticed that they were offering an alpha test build, version 6.0.1.9 that was compatible with Windows Vista 64-bit operating system. Since I'm currently running Windows Vista 64-bit on my Sony Vaio laptop I thought this would be the best choice to try-out the software. So after downloading I deleted the original version and then installed the 64-bit version.

Webcam Max is a very functional and practical choice for internet and webcam users such as myself that have intentions on streaming video online. I had no idea of the many features and options that Webcam Max had to offer, so I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised when my very first use went as smooth as it did. It was very easy to use on the very first try. Which really surprised me I might add. With all of it's claims of revolutionary features, effects and Windows compatibility I was pretty sure it had to be too good to be true. But in fact, everything is self-explanatory, simple to set-up and easy to find exactly what your'e looking for.

Some of the key features included: adding effects, PiP, virtual webcam, adding text and doodling on-screen. I was amazed at the options that I had to work with. The first feature that I tried out was the effects feature. I wanted to stream my webcam image with text scrolling across the screen. It was so easy to set-up in order to make this possible. I clicked "add effects", then "text" and typed in the desired text that I wanted. After that, it was so easy to use the available options to make the text any desired color, size, font and color that I wanted. It was just a matter of clicking another tab in the preferences panel to adjust the scrolling properties that I wanted to use. I could have chosen anything from scrolling to zig-zag to bouncing text, but I settled on scrolling because it was my original idea and I thought that it would look the best for what I was using it for.

Once I set-up the effects in the desired color, size and font that I wanted, the next task was to select my webcam source. I have a built-in webcam on my laptop and also a Logitech USB camera plugged into the USB port. To my amazement, these were not my only two choices! I could choose to play a video file from my computer, select pictures to play as a slideshow or stream what's on my desktop! Originally I wanted to stream one of my two webcams, but after deciding to see what this software could do, I settled on streaming a video directly from my computer. It worked perfectly. It was so similar to a professional production and yet so easy to create. At this point I was very satisfied with Webcam Max software!

I decided that for my next streaming session I would try the PiP function. With PiP you have the same options of choosing different sources to display. I decided to stream my built-in webcam and place a video file from my computer in the PiP window. It was so amazing that my friends and I could chat and watch a movie in the PiP window at the same time! This software is absolutely amazing and nothing less!

I will definitely recommend Webcam Max to every web-savvy individual that I know, that's for sure. I would love for them to have the same stress-free creative process that I had thanks to Webcam Max! Hip Hop Awards '09

Okay, this is gonna be short and sweet. Why is it that black people can't get together and celebrate Hip Hop music without so many people putting it down? I mean, all over the net tonight, as well as a few nights ago, every website has so many people putting down the award show! I mean, they knew what they were getting from watching the previous shows. Besides, it's just a bunch of performers, artists, celebrities, and the like putting on a show for each other really. If you claim to love hip hop, then you love the good and the bad. I'm going crazy with all the petty mess that is being splashed all over the internet about what 'so-and-so' was wearing, or what 'so-and-so' said to 'so-and-so'. It's disgusting really. Take it for what it is and move on people. There was really no show after the entire thing was leaked all over Twitter anyway. There were no surprises, everyone knew exactly what was going to happen. Then you decide to run your mouth AGAIN the night it airs on cable like you didn't just say all of the same crap already. I have never seen so much self-hating in my life. You claim to love your culture, love yourself, then the first chance you get to hate on somebody you take it without hesitation. Grow up and embrace YOUR culture for what it is. I mean, it is what it is just like any PERSON in your life you claim to love. Do you criticize your significant other so brutally when they try and impress you by dressing up in their best clothes and doing a song and dance for you? No, you wouldn't. You would love it. You would stand and clap your hands and grin so hard til your face cracks. Basically, I'm just sick of all the tweets and comments on blogs from people about every little thing they hated about the award show(but they watch it and attend anyway). Glad to get that off my chest, I can move on now.

Chris Rock's documentary Good Hair, scheduled to open in theaters this Friday, is fake! At least that's what Regina Kimbell says. TMZ reports that Kimbell showed Chris her 2005 documentary, My Nappy Roots, on the set of his TV series, Everybody Hates Chris, back in 2007. According to the suit filed in U.S. District Court in downtown LA, he stole the idea; now she's suing for $5 million in damages.

The speculation will continue, but this is what we know so far.

No official cause of death will be announced until after an autopsy is performed, but doctors have indicated that Michael Jackson indeed died after suffering cardiac arrest this afternoon.

"My brother, the legendary King of Pop, Michael Jackson, passed away on Thursday, June 25, at 2:26 p.m." brother Jermaine Jackson told the media gathered outside Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center shortly before 6:30 p.m.

"It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until the results of the autopsy are known."

Jackson had been renting a home in Los Angeles' upscale Holmby Hills neighborhood.

L.A. County Department of Coroner spokesman Craig Harvey said that the full extent of the coroner's findings will not be available for several weeks, when the results of toxicology tests come back.

If your in the market for a laptop right now, consider a Sony Vaio. If your a woman's woman, definitely grab a pink one! I got this one from Bestbuy.com about a month ago and have to say I am very happy with my choice. I was very leery of laptops entirely, but I had to purchase one for convenience. I love the features and reliability. I wouldn't trade it for the world! It's the best laptop I have purchased so far! I use it all day and it never freezes/locks up and I love the "Cosmo" pink color. Of course I bought the decals from the auto parts store, but hey they still look good and add a certain individuality to my laptop.

One worker dies in opening chaos at a New York store. Around the nation, crowds seek deep discounts at the world's largest retailer.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (CNNMoney.com) -- Wal-Mart - expected to benefit this holiday season from its deep discounting in a tough economy - had its Black Friday marred when an employee was trampled to death as thousands of people rushed through the doors at the opening of the store in Valley Stream, N.Y.

Police said the man, identified as 34-year-old Jdimytai Damour, was a temporary employee who lived in New York City's borough of Queens.

In addition, police officials said a pregnant woman was taken to a local hospital, but was expected to be released Friday.

Video footage showed as many as a dozen people knocked to the floor in the stampede of people trying to get into the Wal-Mart store, according to Nassau County Police detective Lt. Michael Fleming.

The employee was "stepped on by hundreds of people"

Tragic, absolutely tragic. Why would you risk your life for a few "bargains"? It's ridiculous and I hope that they have learned a lesson. That "stuff" is not worth it people!
