Chicago Calumet Photo Store Repair Service

I have broken my Bowens wireless transmitters. I tried to connect them to old flash unit. Looks like I've got short circuit or something like it, because after the tests, wireless transmitters have stopped working. Even if I turn them off, they still keeps sending signals and overheats.

I have brought them to Chicago Calumet store to repair. I was told that, it will take about two weeks to repair it and that they will call me with the cost. I was surprised when few days later I received a call from them and I was told that wireless transmitters are ready and I can pick them up and the repair was free of charge. I'm very pleased with Chicago Calumet service, they could charge some kind of service fee very easily.

Because I was planning to spend some money on the repair of wireless transmitters I'll spend it on new accessories now, maybe ND Filter (Neutral Density), or new attachments for my strobes, will see.
