TUTORIAL for: VAMPS LIVE 2014 Digital Photo Collection.

Hi all!

Fans and friends asked help to buy the "VAMPS LIVE 2014 Digital Photo Collection", so I made up this kind of tutorial. It's EASIER than you think and it cost just a couple of coffee. So, don't be scared just because it's all in Japanese, I'll show you step by step! :) If by the end of this you still have questions, don't hesitate to ask down here or HERE ok?

1) Click on the link here: http://www.ebookjapan.jp/ebj/special/vamps/index.asp

2) There click on the RED button/link. (the yellow is only a preview of 7 pages)

3a) With a mobile/tablet you'll find the image above, so scroll down to the page and next to "Vamps Live 2014", click on the BLUE button.

3b) with a PC it's the same, scroll down and click on the BLUE button.

Now you have to register to the site. Mail, password and easy things like that.

4) Click on the RED button.

5) Write your email (they will send a confirmation number, so use one that you have access to!) and then click on the GREEN button.

6) Search for the 4 code NUMBER in your email

7) Type/past the number in the first blanket

►Pick a nickname (less then 16 characters)

►Then you see your mail

►Type your password (pick one) in the first of the two blanket and re-type it just below.

USE ONLY THE NORMAL ALPHABET, not symbols.

►In the hint for the password pick one randomly from the drop-down menu (NOT the first!), and type below an EASY name that you'll remember (example the name of your fish, cat, etc...) less than 15 characters!

►Write your name/surname.

►Your birthday: Year, Month, Day.

►Click on male or female.
►The next the city where you live, again PICK ONE from the drop-down menu (not the first!)

►These 2 are for offerings and newsletter. I suggest to turn them down by clicking on the SECOND option on both.

8) Scroll down, click on the circle that confirm that you read and accept all their rules, and then click on the GREEN button.

9) It SHOULD be all ok, so in the next page you'll see all your info in Japanese, click again on the GREEN button. (if not, and you see a red message, turn back clicking the grey button at the end of the page!)

Sign up done!

10) The page will be automatically back on Vamps collection, click on the BLUE button that will turn GREY, click on it again.

11) The item is in your wishlist, click on the RED button to add it to the basket.

11) Click on the FIRST of the two RED button.

12) click on the last of the 2 button (it should be blue or red again)

13) here you'll find what you have 500 point (not sure about this), scroll down to click on the GREY button.

14) It's already selected "Visa/Mastercard/Maestro..." so NO NEED to change it.
Scroll down and click on the GREY button.
There you will need to type your credit card number as well as the expiration date and click on the button on the RIGHT.

15) Click on the BLUE line where it says "app store" (or Android, or Windows Phone. I have apple but with android and Windows phone I'm almost sure it's the same!). You will need to download their app to see the photos, it's 100% free, as you can see:

The photo above is the view if you're downloading with a computer (I guess it's the same there too!) You have to click on the RED button and install it.

DONE? Good.

Now you have to download the photobook you just bought INSIDE the app to see it.

16) BACK to internet where you were before:

Click on the FIRST of the two RED button, if the app is downloaded correctly it will open automatically.

17) When you open it, you'll find 2 pages with their rules and explanations, so just scroll down and click on the GREEN button for 2 times. Then the app is done and you'll see something like this:

18) You have to click exactly on the (1) in the image above and then confirm clicking on the right (2)

19) Now you have to Log-in with the same mail/password that you used to buy the collection.
The page will change and they will ask you to confirm, so click TWO times on the "OK" in the messages.

20) After that click on the BLUE sign on the TOP RIGHT.

21) now download the photobook:
click on the top right again (1)
Click on the (2) and it will become green, then you'll see the collection there, click on it (3).

22) click on DOWNLOAD (the middle one)
and wait a minute or two for it to download:

LAST ONE! Click back on your devices and you will see that (1) that means you have downloaded 1 thing. Click on the album to watch it!

ENJOY!!! :)

[Report!] HYDE's Surprise Appearance in the Second Floor Guest Seating at 6th Day of VAMPS ZEPP OSAKA!

It was the eighteenth concert of VAMPS' siege-like tour, VAMPS LIVE 2013. After completing seven days of concerts at ZEPP DIVERCITY TOKYO and five days of concerts at ZEPP NAGOYA, VAMPS unleashed their power on ZEPP OSAKA. In a prior interview, HYDE said about the tour, "As VAMPS does lots of concerts, I think we'll start to reach a point of perfection," and just as he predicted, their sense of precision only increased with each concert. On July 26, their sixth performance at ZEPP OSAKA, VAMPS rushed into a frenzied party.

The earnest anticipation of this concert resembled both a faint premonition and a prayer. The moment those expectations were brought to fruition was a catharsis that is impossible to describe. This catharsis happened over and over throughout the concert, but the highlight of the concert was when VAMPS reached their seventeenth song, "HUNTING," during the final portion of the concert.

Ju-ken said, "I've talked a lot, so now I'm hungry! Let's go hunting!"

The reverberations from the end of "MEMORIES" suddenly came to an end. The one who had spoken the promise-like words informing the audience that the next song would be "HUNTING" had not been HYDE but Ju-ken. HYDE was nowhere to be seen. The gaze of the audience turned toward the second floor as it suddenly erupted in excited noise, a mixture of exclamations of, "No way!" "What?" and "Really?" The sound of K.A.Z's guitar fanned the flames of excitement as the carefree, dynamic tune began. What was only one minute felt like an eternity before the door on the right side of the second floor suddenly opened.

And what was revealed from behind the door was HYDE.

The air, which had been filled with impatience, was in one moment bathed in excitement. More than a pleasant surprise, it felt closer to a moment of bliss when one's prayers have been answered. HYDE triumphantly played guitar while bending over the barrier to appeal to the first floor as well. Making no pretense of remaining in their seats, guests stood up in a flood and surrounded HYDE in an instant. It is perhaps the result of the feelings of friendship between VAMPS fans that there were no injuries nor any noticeable chaos. Whatever the reason, it was a good thing. This moment when HYDE moved past the barriers of a "stage" to stand so close to the audience was undoubtedly an indescribably happy time for fans.

With their six-concert siege of ZEPP NAMBA, VAMPS had reached the turning point of their tour VAMPS LIVE 2013. To call the eighteenth concert the "turning point" is in itself amazing, but VAMPS will be holding ten more of these magnificent concerts. Their extraordinary stamina and power are worthy once more of admiration. VAMPS began the concert with the song "KYUKETSU-SATSUGAI VAMPS Ver.-" It is perhaps a simplistic explanation, but perhaps this is because "Kyuketsu" means "sucking blood," a concept relating to their band name, "VAMPS."

In a flash, they played "MADE IN HEAVEN" and "VAMP ADDICTION," shifting more to an assault-based attitude, but they would not continue to be aggressive from beginning to end. They daringly stirred the crowd into wild excitement with "RUMBLE," a song with a prominent rockabilly taste, continuing with "GET UP," a total change of pace which brightened the atmosphere of the venue. The daring groove with an ever-changing tempo was like the pleasant feeling that accompanies opening a locked room, like surrendering oneself to a roller coaster with a course course you cannot predict.

"What are you all doing? There are so many people wearing swimsuits. Are you trying to tempt me? I'm angry!"

HYDE stirred up the audience by speaking in "gal language," a sociolect spoken by some Tokyo female teens. Following HYDE's words, there was an immediate return chorus of "gal language" from the audience. The speed of the response from the audience was surprising every time, and perhaps it is something about Osaka specifically, but the response from the audience in Osaka seemed especially quick.

"It's fine if you're in swimsuits, but I want to see your true character. People say that Osaka is great. But don't you want to be the best? We can do a good concert, but shouldn't it be the best? Whether it will be the best is dependent on you."

The audience roared with cheers, undaunted by HYDE's provocation. VAMPS drove forward with "AHEAD" and "ANGEL TRIP," and directly after the audience burst into dance during "TROUBLE," the rushed into "COUNTDOWN," the song selection feeling like a roller coaster ride. Their unwillingness to do things in an ordinary way was an indication of their veteran status.

[Interview] VAMPS on New Single, Zepp Tour, Oversea Shows, and Best Album vol.2

VAMPS had a very unique way kicking off a tour for 2013 ＜VAMPS LIVE 2013＞, by taking over ZEPP venues nationwide and putting themselves in ‘rock-n-roll all night’ confinement. With a crazy start of the tour, BARKS received a new double A side single「ⒶHEAD／REPLAY」from VAMPS. The new single comes with two songs that are completely different styles by HYDE and K.A.Z, like the opposite magnetic poles. BARKS interviewed them on the very day of the single release, July 3, asking them about the songs. VAMPS also plans to release an English version of their best album in addition to the overseas tour dates finalized.

──Not to mention it doesn’t necessarily apply to these two songs alone. As we watched your live show, we thought your sound was so much better, like it was powerful and yet each sound was so clear and standing out.

K.A.Z：Almost all of the band instruments are new this time. We had some problems or tasks we wanted to clear last year, we took care of that by changing instruments.

──That acrylic board set up in front of ARIMATSU and JIN, that was pretty impressive. Is that to separate their sounds?

HYDE：To project sound better. It blocks noise going to the microphones with it, that helps good sound getting out. I couldn’t have done this before. I used to like sing with “loud and crazy sounds together, otherwise I won’t sing!” (laugh).

──Like it has to be loud for you to get hyper.

HYDE：Yup (laugh). Now that’s nothing.

──In that aspect, you were definitely aware of creating audio sound.

HYDE：I was trying from before, but this time I wanted to be serious about it. If it does’t work, I just won’t do it again. That’s how I did it.

──The stage setting was very stylish.

HYDE：Yes, like higher quality added to the previous stage setting. We did all the tricks with elaborate decorations and stuff already, so pursuing quality is much more refreshing. Maybe the use of acrylic board and things left a different impression.

──Does that affect your performance?

K.A.Z：I absolutely worry that members hitting the acrylic board (laugh). A person with the name spell starting J, for example, could hit the board anytime and that’s dangerous…

HYDE：Have you seen a bird slamming himself on a glassdoor because he couldn’t see it..(laugh)

K.A.Z：That is so not cool if he did that in a concert..(laugh). Like I worry more about the live becoming a comedy act than him getting injured!

──You finished four concerts so far. How do you feel about that?

K.A.Z：Only 4 concerts? I thought we’ve done more.

HYDE：We just started, so there is much to think about and I don’t feel it is all good to go yet. It’s all good, of course, but feels like there is so much we have to do and can’t catch up. Normally there are bands who would think, four concerts and we are done! but VAMPS needs more runs. Then we finally get to finish something. Four isn’t even close to that. But maybe ten shows would be too much to settle with.. (laugh).

──Hard to balance there, right?

HYDE：So we are nervous in a good way for now.

──You have 10DAYS at ZEPP TOKYO just announced. We look forward to VAMPS evolution.

K.A.Z：We’ve reached ‘a quality’ at this point. The question is to keep it and do it over to build up. And take it all to the live performances. With sound effect and all, we continue to try new things.

──In the fall, you will release a best album, re-recorded in English for international audience, plus you have world tour coming up.

HYDE：We hope to bring with us, the best of what we will have accomplished through local concerts.

──Are you exporting VAMPS almost?

HYDE：Uh- Yeah. We are proud of the product (laugh). I hope fans from overseas like it. Previously when touring worldwide, we performed with works that were made for Japanese market. This time we are bringing songs we’ve customized for international market. Hopefully it will make a difference.

──Your official Facebook started. It looks like the world is coming close to you. Do you feel that way also?

HYDE：We were really hectic since moving to a new label so we had no time to feel how we were doing. I want to believe we’ve done the best we could so far. Fans may not give us the full approval yet (laugh). We’ve been working hard seriously, like no one else in Japan works that much, so I am excited about the outcome.

K.A.Z：We won’t know what it’s like unless we get there anyway. You know real world takes experience, not like the internet world where you can just see everything. We absolutely appreciate and get excited to receive comments and likes on Facebook, but we cannot always experience all of that. We are very excited about the concert in overseas in that aspect.

──Songs were boldly done proving new potential for VAMPS. HYDE and K.A.Z have specific roles and each personality shines through the two tracks vividly.

HYDE：Maybe I did too much though (laugh). I was hoping to write a song like ‘REPLAY’ first, but I can’t use DTM (laugh), I’m so analog. I had to leave that to K.A.Z.

K.A.Z：I believe we will have more songs like these, showing our different musical personalities. But then, it is always subject to change. We may have a complete shocking song with different concept or image. We are so free to do that.

──Were these two songs sort of your turning point?

K.A.Z：I’d say yes. But I feel that way every song I write. Whether it is a single or album, there is always a discovery.

──That means you always write with a new approach?

K.A.Z：What is ‘approach’, you know (laugh). It depends. Is it a feeling? sense? I haven’t been able to analyze that much detail. The most important thing in writing a song is that there is this one stanza or phrase that sparkles whether it is with bass or drums. If there is raw material, then start with that.

──Can you tell us where that sparkle is, for example in your song ‘REPLAY’?

K.A.Z：The very opening.

──We heard HYDE worked down to the last minute arranging the recording for「ⒶHEAD」.

HYDE：Yes. That’s been my style for the last several years. 「ⒶHEAD」isn’t an exception. But I may have less flexibility in mind. I pursue too much perfection like, “It has to be like this!”. I was more flexible before. I enjoyed what was made naturally and “as is”. That isn’t the case now that I care about every second of the song.

──Like you wrote this within so-and-so minutes total?

HYDE：Yeah. Like this song can’t go over 6 minutes, that is acceptable but I care about 10 seconds. I guess that’s how I learn and progress, so that’s fine. Then again I feel micromanaging too much sometimes. Other times I know I am this way because our old songs were just so long. Maybe this is just what workmanship is about, “should be like this or that!”. But I try to remember that flexibility and freedom I used to have in youth. That’s precious.

──「ⒶHEAD」burst out of that workmanship…

HYDE：Just as a result of mastership（laugh）.

K.A.Z：HAHAHA!

HYDE：This is a song written with our passion from early days and the art of mastership.

──The two songs were already performed on a tour. Was there any discovery while performing them?

HYDE：People seem to these songs, more than I expected. It’s really fun to see.

──Is it technically hard to play?

HYDE：A little (laugh). The powerful vocal is the main in「ⒶHEAD」. I sing while playing the guitar, and the guitar needs focus while playing. So balancing the two is hard. The guitar phrases are very detailed.

K.A.Z：I was doing the video check for our live. I felt these two songs had a similar sound like performances were pretty similar to recordings already on CD. Both tracks on CD sound pretty close to live performance. I didn’t see that in other songs before.

──Did you not intend to do that?

K.A.Z：I don’t think I did but I may have done it without knowing. Recording work gets annul and detailed in building it. When performing on a show, you always have a bit of change here there. But it was comfortable performing..

──Your ability must have improved!

HYDE：Get out of here!

K.A.Z：Did we suck before? (laugh)

──No, no! Meant to say, “getting even better than before”.

K.A.Z：Perhaps each of our sound has been getting more established.

2012.07.05 VAMPS TOKYO + eng. translation! [14°live]

[DAY 2 - 2012.07.05]

VAMPS TOKYO 2日目。HYDEは自ら運転して、愛車フェラーリで会場入りしました。
カッコいいですね～♪ブオンッ、ブオンッ……とエンジン音をふかすたび、待っていたファンのみなさんも「キャ～！」という歓声を上げていました。

VAMPS TOKYO - Day 2.
HYDE drove himself to the venue and [showed up] to the venue in a Ferrari.
So cool, huh.....Vroom, vroom....everytime the engine [was] revved, the waiting fans cheered and screamed "Kiyaa!"

(NOTE: "ブオンッ" literally reads "buon-tsu," which doesn't really make any sense. The narrator of this journal entry is mimicking the sound a car makes. In English, we typically use the word "Vroom" to mimick the sound a vehicle makes when it accelerates. Also, "Kiya" denotes the sound people make when they scream, kind of like how we say "Ahhhh!" in English.)

楽屋ではK.A.Zがシャボン玉で遊んでいます。ファンの方からいただいたプレゼントのようです。

K.A.Z is in the dressing room playing with bubbles.A gift [he] received from fans.

HYDEは今日もギターの練習。なぜか今日は廊下で弾いています。

リハーサルが始まると、ステージに「くまモン」が！？！？
ん？……よーく見ると、ARIMATSUさんです。
熊本でのライヴ以来、「くまモン」ブームが続いているのか、ファンのみなさんからのプレゼントにも、「くまモン」の姿をよく見かけます。

The rehearsal begins, "Mont-Bear" [is] onstage!?!?
N? ......Look, it's Arimatsu.
Since the live at Kumamoto, fans have continued to give "Mont-Bear" gifts.

(NOTE: "N" is the literal reading for the character "ん." It this case, it is used to denote a sound the narrator of the journal entry is making. Also, as stated in a previous diary entries, "Mont-Bear" is a character from the Kumamoto area)

今年のツアーでは、ソフトモヒカン＆ミイラタトゥー男に変身しているJINさん。
ツアーがスタートして1ヶ月、そろそろ刈り上げ部分の髪も伸びてきてしまったので、本日はスタッフに散髪してもらいました。

During this year's tour, JIN has transformed into a tattoo, mohawk and mummy man.
[For] one month, [he had] been growing out his hair, [and now] today [his] hair is cut.

Ju-kenさんがバイクのヘルメットに貼ろうとしているのは、「VAMPS TOKYO」のロゴステッカーです。
7月の1ヵ月間、ZEPP TOKYOに篭城して展開しているVAMPS TOKYO。
会場のあらゆる所に、このロゴステッカーが貼られています。
ちなみに、会場の中のあらゆる張り紙や、ロッカーの注意書きまで、すべて会場名は、「VAMPS TOKYO」に書き換えられていたんですよ。
みなさん、気付いてました？

Ju-ken has a "VAMPS TOKYO" sticker on his motorcycle helmet.
ZEPP TOKYO has become "VAMPS TOKYO" for one month in July.
All parts of the venue has [the] logo affixed to [it].

まもなく本番。みんなで並んで本日の衣装選びです。
HYDEは完成したばかりの「CHUPACABRA」ラグランＴシャツのサンプルを着ています。
いつも「自分の着たいもの、持ちたいものを作る！」というのが、グッズ作りのモットーであるHYDE。
こちらのラグランＴシャツもかなりお気に入りの様子です。

LEDを使ったステージセットはこれからますます改良を重ねて、もっともっとカッコよくなっていくはず。

籠城型ライヴの最終形！？VAMPSは、更なる伝説を創ろうとしています！！

VAMPSが、ZEPP TOKYOを1ヵ月完全占拠！ZEPP TOKYOの名前をも「VAMPS TOKYO」と変えて・・・ついに、VAMPSのライヴハウスが期間限定で出現しました！！

名前だけではなく、会場は「VAMPS TOKYO」仕様になっています。至る所にVAMPS TOKYOのロゴが！

The final form of the live!?VAMPS are attempting to become legends!!

VAMPS [will] fully occupy ZEPP TOKYO for a month! And finally, "ZEPP TOKYO" has changed to "VAMPS TOKYO"... for the live for a limited time only!!

Rather than just change the name of the venue, the venue [has gone and] included the "VAMPS TOKYO" logo everywhere!

入口はもちろん、会場に入ると、VAMPS TOKYOのロゴが入った赤いカーペットが敷き詰められ・・・

The entrance of the venue is, of course, paved with the red carpet that contains the "VAMPS TOKYO" logo...

さりげなく、こんな所にも（笑）。

会場を巡ると、本当に細かく、あらゆるところにVAMPS TOKYOのロゴが使われています♪

そして、仙台公演で2日間だけ販売されたVAMPSオリジナルカクテルも、VAMPS TOKYO限定のカップで販売！

And around the venue, really detailed, the "VAMPS TOKYO" logo has been used everywhere

And [the] VAMPS original cocktail cups [that] were sold for only 2 days at [the] Sendai lives, were also sold at VAMPS TOKYO!

お酒なので、飲み過ぎ注意です。
でも、HYDEも、会場の見回り中に飲んじゃいました！！

But even HYDE was drinking during the patrol of the venue!!

ZEPP TOKYO（今はVAMPS TOKYOです！）の楽屋は、「帰ってきたなぁ～」と、しみじみ思うくらいに馴染みがある楽屋です。

さて、ステージの方に焦点を当てると・・・。

VAMPS進化形のステージは、照明やLEDで魅せるステージです！！そこにも、細かなVAMPSの装飾が施されています。

VAMPS' stage evolution is stage lighting and LED micelles!! As well, VAMPS' decorations are finely detailed.

HYDEは、客席におりて全体を見渡し、細かく指示出しをしています！

K.A.Z stared at the VAMPS skull on the monitor speakers during rehearsal! The monitor has a gothic taste.

HYDE is down in the seats overlooking the entire [stage], [giving] fine instructions!

演出等の隅々にまで込められたHYDEの想いを、スタッフが具現化して出来上がったステージ！！

初日は、ステージチェックや会場チェックでバタバタして、いつの間にか、本番の時間が近づいていました（汗）。

K.A.Zも慌てて衣装を選び、本番に備えて柔軟体操！！

[DAY 2 - 2012.06.30]

熊本2日目です。いつも昼過ぎには会場入りするVAMPSとバンドメンバー。リハーサルまでたっぷりと時間はあるものの、やることもたっぷりとあります。K.A.Zは、ツアー初日にシューティングされたZEPP SENDAIのライヴ映像を見ています。なんだか、すでに懐かしい感じがしますね

The second day of Kumamoto. In the afternoon, VAMPS and staff members enter the venue.Though there is plenty of time left until rehearsal, there is still much to do. K.A.Z is watching live footage from the first day of ZEPP SENDAI.Somehow, I feel nostalgic.

そして、HYDEは映像スタッフ＆舞台監督と、ZEPPツアーのステージ演出の打ち合わせ。今年のZEPPは、2010年のツアーとはガラリとステージセットや演出が変わるため、HYDEは新しいVAMPSのステージを創り上げようと、あらゆるアイデアをスタッフに伝え、スタッフもHYDEのイメージを具現化するために、一生懸命セットや映像案を捻り出しては、HYDEに提案していきます

And HYDE is the stage director and is having a meeting regarding the ZEPP tour. The ZEPP tour this year and in 2010 set the stage for changes to the stage VAMPS will perform on. HYDE communicated his new idea to the staff.

ギターを弾きながら、HYDEが見つめているのは、くまモン！2日目ともなると、ファンのみなさんからはたくさんのプレゼントが届き、殺風景だった楽屋が、あっという間に「くまモン」グッズで埋め尽くされてしまいました。さすが、熊本です！

[DAY 1 - 2012.06.29]

ZEPP SENDAIからスタートし、新潟、高知、広島を終えて、ライヴハウスツアー最後の地となったのは、2006年FAITHツアー以来、6年ぶりの熊本です。会場に到着したHYDE。車の窓から顔を覗かせ、待っていてくれたファンのみなさんに手を振っています……と思ったら、その手には、くまモンのチョコレートが！？郷に入れば郷に従え、熊本に入ればくまモンを持て！ですね。

It started at ZEPP SENDAI, [then onto] Niigata, Hiroshima, Kochi and now the last of the live house tour for the past 6 years since the FAITH tour in 2006. HYDE arrived, waving to fans, while hanging out the window of the van, and in his hands, a Kumamon bear?

(NOTE: "Kumamon" is a type of character for sweets and looks like this: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7192/6850044215_78024eed97_z.jpg While those are cookies, HYDE's appears to be a chocolate candy on a stick)

[Much like how] Romans do when entering [a] village, to Kumamoto bear! It is.
(I'm not too sure about this phrase. But it appears as though the narrator is making the comparison to how Romans would ride on chariots with their arm raised, as if they were charging into a city or village. HYDE's pose in the picture below seems similar to that sort of action. But since Hyde is holding the chocolate bear in his hand, as opposed to a sword or something, it's humorous and this phrase is meant to be a joke.)

K.A.Zは、会場に入ると、その足でステージへ。まずは、会場の広さや機材の確認です。

K.A.Z enters the venue [with the] stage at his feet. First is a confirmation of the size of the venue and the equipment.

広島から移動して、前日には熊本に入っていたVAMPS御一行。昨晩、K.A.Zはスタッフと早速、熊本ラーメンを食べに行ったらしく、楽屋はその話で持ちきり。iPhoneでそのお店を検索し、ラーメンの写真をみんな食い入るように見ていました。どうやら、いつ熊本ラーメンを食べに行くか相談している模様です。

Having departed from Hiroshima the day before, VAMPS [are in] Kumamamoto, [which is] next in line.Last night, K.A.Z and the staff went to go eat ramen and it seems the Kumamoto dressing room is abuzz with the story. [They] looked on the iPhone at the pictures of ramen. Apparently, the [thing to do is] go eat Kumamoto ramen.

そして、なぜかARIMATSUさんがベースを弾いています（笑）。なかなか様になっているような……やっぱり、スティックが一番似合っているような……。

And then for some reason Arimatsu is playing the bass. (*Laughs*) [He] is quite in good shape, afterall, sticks are best.... (Not sure about this phrase)

リハーサルが始まると、HYDEはいつものようにストレッチを開始。今日はステージがあまり広くないので、客席フロアでストレッチを始めました。

Rehearsal begins, HYDE stretched as usual.Today, the stage is not as broad, [so] the members stretched on the floor.

リハーサルが終わると、楽屋でずっとギターを弾いていたHYDE。
この日は、まだ今回のツアーであまり演奏していない「COSMOS」がセットリストに入っているからか、ずっと「COSMOS」を弾いていました。
今回のツアー中、HYDEは本当にずっと楽屋でギターを弾いています。

ライヴ直前の1枚。全身ソンビ・タトゥー男・JINさんが、全身タトゥー男・ARIMATSUさんのタトゥーを興味深そうに眺めています。

いよいよ本番直前。K.A.Zもストレッチを開始です。こうやって、リハーサル前はもちろん、本番前にはメンバー全員が楽屋の中や外で一斉にストレッチを始めます。やはりライヴは体力勝負ですからね。

Finally just before the show. K.A.Z is starting to stretch. It is before rehearsal, and of course, before the show that all the members begin to stretch simultaneously in or out of the dressing room. It is because physical strength is still important for the live.

ライヴ中のMCでは、「僕、まだ馬、食べてないんですよ」と言っていたHYDE。ということで、この日の夜は美味しい馬肉しゃぶしゃぶをたらふくいただき、お腹も満たされた……はずが、HYDEの「ラーメン、行く人～？」の声に、揃って熊本ラーメンを食べに行くVAMPS御一行でありました。

During the live MC, HYDE said, "I have eaten horses. So thank you for this delicious horsemeat shabu-shabu this evening and my stomach is full. " HYDE's "ramen, go up to people?" The voice of Kumamoto, go have ramen [and] party with VAMPS. (Not too sure about this phrase)

6月27日。この日は、Ju-kenさんのBirthday！！

前日の夜は、0:00ちょうどにお祝いをして、この広島最終日を迎えました♪

June 27th.
Today is Ju-ken's birthday!The night before the last Hiroshima [live] at midnight, they celebrated [his birthday].

ファンの方たちも、お祝いをしたくて、大きく「おめでとう」の手書きのメッセージが！！

そんな時でも、楽屋の雰囲気は変わらず、K.A.Zがスケボーの映像を見ていて、それを覗き込むJu-kenさん＆ ARIMATSUさん。

The fans also wanted to celebrate and wrote handwritten messages of "Congratulations!"
(NOTE: "otanjoubi omedetou" literally means "congratulations on your birth," but when used in terms of wishing someone a happy birthday, it can mean "Happy Birthday.")

Even then, the atmosphere in the dressing room remains unchanged. K.A.Z is looking at pictures (or video?) of him playing skateboard, Ju-ken and Arimatsu are looking into it too.

スケボー熱は、日を増すごとに上昇している気がします。ツアーが終わるころには、どれ程上手くなっているのか！？こちらも、密かに楽しみです♪

リハーサル中、楽屋にはビッグなプレゼントが届きました！！

The heat of skateboarding is increased as each day rises. When the tour ends, how much is getting better?! Here, is secretly looking forward ♪

2012.06.26 Hiroshima CLUB QUATTRO [day1] + eng. translation! [9°live]

広島 CLUB QUATTROにVAMPS再来！！ここは、PARCOの最上階にあるライヴハウスで、会場の外が屋上スペースとなってるという、変わった造りのライヴハウス。スタッフ楽屋のすぐ横には、PARCOスタッフが休憩する屋外スペースがあります。たくさんのお洒落な人達が出入りしているせいか、いつもとちょっと違った爽やか（？）な雰囲気が漂っていました。

K.A.Zは、会場に入ると、工具を出して・・・スケボーの手入れを始めました！！

VAMPS return to Hiroshima's CLUB QUATTRO!!Here, the live house is located on the top floor of PARCO and the roof space outside of the venue has changed.
Right next to the staff's dressing room, there is an outdoor space for the Parco staff to take a break.Perhaps it was because a lot of fashionable people are coming and going, but the atmosphere is refreshing.

K.A.Z started taking out the skateboard tools when he entered the venue!!

まるで、子供が工作をするかのように、すごく楽しそうにスケボーの手入れをしています（笑）。手入れが終わると、早速スタッフのたまり場でスケボーに飛び乗り、スイスイと走りだしました！！

スケボータイムもほどほどに…。リハーサルが始まるので、少しの間、スケボーはオアズケ状態でリハーサルへ！！

Arimatsu also followed, riding his skateboard. Arimatsu's skateboard is "MYスケボーをGET" that was purchased in a sports store in Parco.The members will continue to skateboard.

高知の最終日が来てしまいました（涙）。
HYDEは、会場入りするなり、デスクで作業・・・。真剣に何かを描き描きしていました!!

Today is the last day of the Kochi live. (*Tear*)

HYDE was working at his desk inside the venue...
[He was] drawing something seriously!

これは・・・VAMPARKのオリジナルキャラクターの制作中の姿です！実は昨日も描いていて、今日も俄然描いています！2日間描いています！！これは、もう・・・真剣そのもの・・・。声をかけることが憚られるくらい、もの凄い集中力でした。

一方、K.A.Zは映像のチェック中です！！

K.A.Zがそのキャラクターにちょっと興味を示していたようで、それを見たHYDEが、
K.A.Zの所にソッと置くという、なんともホンワカしたリハーサル風景でした。

It's the Kochi Prefecture grotesque character, Ponta bonito. (*Laughs*) A present from one of our fans! And... I did not even think there is an anime like this. (*Surprise!*)

It was an indescribable rehearsal with HYDE and K.A.Z showed little interest in the character.

なんだか、溶け込んでいるような気もしますね♪でも、さすがに、本番の時には片づけられちゃいましたけど・・・。

本番が刻々と近づいている楽屋では、HYDEの恒例行事、ファンの方から頂いた
手紙を貼り始めていました！

[Day 1]

新潟に引き続き、2010年振りに来ました！！
“高知 BAY 5 SQUARE”！！！

Continuing from Niigata, [to] where we came in 2010!!
Kochi BAY 5 SQUARE!!

海がすぐそばなので、心地よい潮の香りがします。

駐車場では、物販スペースのすぐ横にツアートラックが！ツアートラックをバックに記念撮影をするには今までで一番撮りやすい環境で、ツアートラックと一緒に撮影している人たちが大勢いて、とっても微笑ましい光景でした♪

Parked next to the venue is the tour truck!

It was a very heartwarming scene as the people in the area took commemorative pictures of the tour truck.♪

そのロケーションにあやかってなのか、HYDEは外でランチです。

Outside of the venue HYDE is at lunch.

ひっそりと食べていました・・・。
天気も良く、気温も適度で、外にいる方が気持ち良い環境でした。

そして、別の場所では・・・K.A.Zと、ARIMATSUさんが・・・！？

The weather was pleasant with moderate temperatures outside.

新潟2日目にして、最終日！！
籠城ライヴに慣れたVAMPSチームには早すぎますね。

HYDEは、会場に入るとツアーオフィシャルグッズのTシャツにお着替え♪

K.A.Z that day before the live went out shopping and bought clothes to wear.

仙台公演を終え、VAMPSメンバーは新潟へ！！
VAMPS LIVE 2010 BEAST以来です。

その時に書いた“VAMPS参上”の文字がまだ残されていました。

After Sendai, VAMPS moved on to Niigata LOTS!!
They have performed here since VAMPS LIVE 2010 BEAST tour.

このネイルセットは、HYDEがファンからいただいて今ツアーから愛用し始めたもので、K.A.Zも触発されて（？）同じものを購入したようです。

リハーサルでは、久々の小さい会場で、メンバーとの距離がとても近く感じました。見慣れた光景のはずなのですが、なぜか、ちょっと恥ずかしくなってしまいました・・・（汗）。

ZEPP SENDAI 4日目。

いよいよ最後の日になってしまいました。
4日間がこんなにも早いとは・・・。

この日は、歩きで会場へ。最後のZEPP SENDAIへの会場入り。
VAMPSの二人も「もうここを歩くことはないのかなぁ～」と、寂しさを噛み締めているようでした。

メンバーが楽屋に入ると、そこには“おでん屋”が出店！？

It is finally the last day.
These 4 days went by fast.

On this day I walked to the venue. When I entered the venue for the last time [I thought] "I will walk through here for the last time" and the two people of VAMPS seemed to be clenching to loneliness.

楽屋の中は至って普通なのですが・・・違和感をヒシヒシと感じます。

HYDEも、この日は何度も着ては替え、着ては替え、なかなか決まらずでした。

This "Esthetic Scalp" device was purchased by....K.A.Z!

VAMPS流アミューズメント空間＜VAMPARK 2012＞開幕

VAMPS flow amusement space <VAMPARK 2012> opening!

7月22日（日）までZEPP TOKYOを完全占拠して開催されていたZEPP 13DAYS＜VAMPS TOKYO＠ZEPP TOKYO＞を大盛況で終えたVAMPSが、7月24日（月）から＜VAMPARK 2012＞なるものを同場所でスタートさせた。VAMPARKとは、ライヴハウスをVAMPS独自のアミューズメント空間に形を変えて開催するVAMPSオリジナルのスペシャル・イベントのこと。VAMPARKにもいろいろなスタイルがあって、今回は前回とは内容をガラリと変えて、2010年にZEPP NAGOYAのみで開催された上映会スタイルでの開催となっている。

After finishing ZEPP 13 DAYS live that they seized the venue (VAMPS TOKYO) with a great success on 22 July (Sun), they opened something that is called (VAMPARK) from 24 July (Mon). VAMPARK is a special event that VAMPS will modify the venue that they used for the lives as a space for the amusement in their style. Also, as VAMPARK varies its own styles, this time it completely changes itself from the last time by arranging it in the theatre style, which was the style that they used only at ZEPP NAGOYA in 2010.

＜VAMPARK 2012＞開幕初日、1回目（11:00～13：00）の回を見にZEPP TOKYOを訪れた。入り口から出迎えてくれたのは、＜VAMPS TOKYO＞のときにも会場をスペシャルな空間に演出していたVAMPS TOKYOオリジナルの“VPレッドカーペット”。

場内に入ると、入場時に受け取ったコインを持ってドリンクカウンターに直行。ドリンクの引き換え時にVAMPS TOKYOオリジナルドリンクストラップがプレゼントされるというのは、ZEPP 13DAYSのときと同じお楽しみの一つだ。そして、今回もVAMPSオリジナルカクテル（アルコール入りなので未成年は禁止）を販売。このドリンクは、VAMPS TOKYO限定ロゴ入りプラカップでサーブされるので、カップにも注目して味わってほしい。

When enters the hall, I made a bee line to the counter for the drinks. A coin that received at the entrance in my hand. As well as they did during ZEPP 13 DAYS, a drink strap was gave away when they handed the drink to me. This is something that should be looked forward. Then, this time they also got VAMPS original cocktail for us (since there is alcohol ingredient, a kid is not allowed to drink). The cup for this drink is printed with the logo limited for VAMPS TOKYO only so you’d better pay attention to the cup too.

次に向かったのは、グッズショップ。なかでも人気を集めていたのが、今回会場内に初めて登場した“CHUPACABRA SHOP”。HYDEがこだわりにこだわって今回新たに描き下ろしたオリジナル・キャラクターをフィーチャーしたグッズ類は、ここでしか手に入らない。このCHUPACABRAはコウモリをモチーフにしたようなキャラクターなのだけど、これが小悪魔的かわいさ！　コインケースからノート、ランチボックス、パスケースと、販売されているものはすべてデイリーユースなものばかり。また、アイテムを6600円以上買った人のみもらえるオリジナル紙バッグも見逃せない。CHUPACABRAグッズ以外にも、＜VAMPS LIVE2012＞のオフィシャルグッズ販売も行なわれている。

Then, I head to the shop. The goods that was most of the attention here was “CHUPACABRA SHOP” that is sold for the first time. This is the only place that you could get hold of the goods with such a character that HYDE designed with an intense care. This character, CHUPACABRA, designed with the bat-like image is devilishly cute! The available goods include coin cases, notes, lunchbox and pass case, which are handy for the daily life. Also, they give away the original paper bags to anyone with the purchase of more than 6,660 yen. Other than CHUPACABRA goods, there are the official goods for (VAMPS LIVE).

今回の＜VAMPARK 2012＞ZEPP TOKYO内は、1階、2階、どちらのフロアも開放されていて、場内の通路をはじめ至るところにこれまで販売されていたVAMPSオリジナル写真集からピックアップした写真をパネルにして展示。パネルを見れば、VAMPSがこれまで歩んできた軌跡が分かる仕組みになっている。

For this (VAMPARK) at ZEPP TOKYO, both the first and second floors are opened and the sideboard of the corridors and hall are full of the displays of the VAMPS original photos that from the past. The displays are arranged so that they will tell the history of VAMPS.

そして、開場から15分ほど経った頃、今回の最大の目玉となる映像の上演会がスタート。1、2階席とも自由席なので、好きな場所に座って映像を見ることができるのは嬉しい。

そしてなんといっても気になるのは、今回上映されるプログラムについてだろう。今回の映像は＜VAMPS LIVE 2010 BEAST＞でシューティングされた未公開秘蔵映像を中心に編集されたもので、＜VAMPS TOKYO＞ではそのPART-AとPART-Bを回替わりで上映している。また、8月30日（木）から行なわれるZEPP NAGOYAからは、これらがPART-Cの上映に切り替わってしまうので、A、Bが見られるのは今回のZEPP TOKYOだけとなる。今年2月に発売された『VAMPS LIVE 2010 BEAUTY AND BEAST』のドキュメンタリーDVDに入らなかったライヴの裏側を追った未公開映像を中心に、ここでは2010年に野外ライヴを開催した遊園地で大はしゃぎする姿や、ビーチでの水着姿、そしてこれまで映像化されていない＜HELLOWEN PARTY＞のお宝映像なども拝めたりする。上映時間はたっぷり1時間！　映像の隙間に突然インしてくるHYDEとK.A.Zの笑えるオリジナルCMにも必見なのだ。

In the mid, the film will suddenly shows the original CM depicting HYDE and K.A.Z so you’d better watch it with a focus.

そして、映像を見終わったら1階の奥に設置されたHYDEとK.A.Zの3Dオブジェを見学。この＜VAMPARK 2012＞のために制作したという、実際に石膏で顔型をとって再現されたHYDEのリアルなフェイスマスクと、タトゥーや関節までを隅々まで再現したK.A.Zのアーム。これは超必見!!　ここでは、彼らがオブジェを制作するまでのプロセスをシューティングした映像も見ることができる。

When the film was ended, I went down to see 3D object of HYDE and K.A.Z on the first floor. There is a facemask of HYDE that looked so real, and K.A.Z’s arm that shows every details of his tattoos and joints. It is a must to see!! Here, you could also watch a movie that shows the process of taking their realistic objects.

また、初日には“サプライズ企画”として、ZEPP 13DAYSでVAMPSが使っていた楽屋エリアに入ることができる“楽屋ツアー”も実施され、多くの人がこのツアーに参加していた。

Also, on the first day, there was a “surprise project” in which you were allowed to enter into the dressing room that VAMPS used during ZEPP 13 DAYS as a “dressing room tour”. A lot of people attended this tour.

そして、すべてを見終わって1階に設置されたホワイトボードにVAMPSへのメッセージを書き込んでいる頃にちょうどOUTの時間に。

＜VAMPARK 2012＞は、7月31日（火）までVAMPS TOKYO ＠ZEPP TOKYOで開催した後、8月30日（木）ZEPP NAGOYA、9月7日（金）ZEPP FUKUOKA、9月14日（金）・17日（月・祝）ZEPP TOKYO、10月1日（月）・4日（木）ZEPP NAMBAでも開催されるので、ぜひとも足を運んでみてほしい。

Thus, I encourage you all to go and visit it!!

そして、8月15日（水）、16日（木）、18日（土）、19日（日）、LAGUNA BEACH特設ステージ（愛知県蒲郡にある複合マリンリゾート内）にて＜VAMPS LIVE 2012 BEAST ON THE BEACH＞が待っている！　この4DAYSに加えて、ライヴのない8月17日（金）にはVAMPS×FM AICHIのコラボによる特番公開収録、またVAMPS×EDGE STYLEのコラボによるビーチファッションショーを開催することも大決定。この5日間、東海エリアのビーチがVAMPS一色に染まる！

Also, on 15 (Wed) 16(Thur) 18 (Sat)and 19 (sun) August, there will be (VAMPS BEAST ON THE BEACH) at the special stage at LAGUNA BEACH (It is a marine resort located in Gama-Goori City, Aichi Prefecture)! In addition to this 4 days lives, on 17 (Fri) August that they don’t have a live, there will be a collaborated program of VAMPSxFM AICHI, and there will be an on-the-beach fashion show held in collaboration between VAMPSxEDGE STYLE.

ライヴ当日は、VAMPSのライヴチケットを提示すれば会場隣接テーマパーク「ラグナシア」の入場券を割引で購入でき、特設ステージの休憩エリアにはVAMPS×JOYSOUNDのコラボによる野外カラオケステージも設置されるので、ライヴ開演までは朝から会場に訪れて、このリゾート施設を思う存分満喫！　そして、VAMPSのビーチライヴが始まったら砂浜で、海の中で理性を忘れて限界まで踊り狂え!!!!

ZEPP SENDAI 3日目。

本日も正面からの会場入りです。

ZEPP SENDAI - Day 3.
We entered from the front entrance today.

2日目に正面から入ったこともあり、今日はいつも以上に人が多かったです！

会場に着くと、HYDEはお着替え・・・この日は、K.A.ZグッズのTシャツを着ました。

Maybe because we entered from the same door of the second day, there was more people than usual.
Arriving at the venue, Hyde changed his clothes... This day Hyde wore K.A.Z goods T-shirt.

HYDEの大きめTシャツスタイルは、なんだか新鮮でした。

楽屋では、昨日のOFFで訪れた仙台ハイランドの映像を流し、皆で鑑賞会！

HYDE’s large t-shirt style was somehow refreshing.
On their day off, they went to Sendai Highland. They’re watching a video of the trip now.

バンジージャンプに挑戦したのですが、その映像はかなりレアな内容で面白く、メンバーは終始大笑いでした。
※この後、打ち上げ中にもまた映像を見たりと、この話題は尽きませんでした。
この日は、いつもとは違う事が・・・！？
それは、仙台放送の「あらあらかしこ」という番組の突撃取材がありました！

The person on the screen is trying to bungee jumping. The video is really interesting - the members were laughing from beginning to end. After watching this video, they talked about it long after the video was over.

This day, always different things...!?

There was a flurry of program coverage from the Sendai Television show “Araarakashiko” (“Oh how this”)!

取材チームに圧倒されながらも、VAMPSの二人は、楽しく取材を受けていました。
取材の中で、視聴者にプレゼントをということで、HYDEからはいつも愛用していたキックボード、
K.A.Zは、お気に入りのヘッドフォンをプレゼントしました!!

Despite being overwhelmed by the news teams, the two members of VAMPS had fun.
During the interview, Hyde gave away his loved scooter and K.A.Z gave away his favorite headphones as presents to the interviewer.

ZEPP SENDAI 2日目。

今日は、VAMPSは楽屋口（裏口）ではなく、ZEPP SENDAIの正面から会場入りしました！

ZEPP SENDAI - Day 2.
Today, VAMPS entered the venue from the front of Zepp Sendai instead of using the back door!

グッズ販売の列に並んでいたファンは、突如のVAMPS登場に大興奮！！！！

これぞ、VAMPSの自由気ままなスタイルで、この光景を見て「あぁ～、VAMPSだなぁ！」と実感しました♪

会場に入ると、メンバーは各々の時間を過ごします。K.A.Zは、駐車場でスケボーをして遊んでました!!

Excited VAMPS fans were lined up in columns when suddenly, VAMPS appeared!
This, VAMPS freewheeling in style, at this sight of this [I thought] “Ahhh…VAMPS.” And then I realized each member will spend hours inside the venue.

K.A.Z was playing with a skateboard in the parking a lot!

いよいよスタートしました「VAMPS LIVE 2012」！！

スタートの地は“仙台”。2008年、VAMPS初のツアーのスタートも仙台からでした。約2年ぶりのVAMPS再始動に相応しいこの地から、「VAMPS LIVE 2012」も始まります。

会場のZEPP SENDAIは7月1日を持って閉館するとのことで、いくつかの限定企画を行いました。
まずは・・・

さらに・・・の前に、VAMPSのツアーが始まって、やはり気になるのはパスです。これまでのツアーDiaryでも恒例だったお披露目ですが、今年はこんなパスがメンバー・スタッフに配られています。
