Woah. Is she human? Well, apparently the demand of Hollywood is was even too much for the star that she broke down in tears in the gym trying to shed her baby weight (glad to know she’s human after all). She even wore a girdle to help slim her tummy. Now, that one I didn’t even try when I had my first born, maybe this time I will try a leather corsets and see if my tummy has a chance of slimming down too! Why leather; because the heat may make me sweat and thus shed some more (just wishful thinking here).

M inspiration?! That picture right there! That was the shoot where she had only after 8 weeks of giving birth. She is still pretty hot, right? That Cash guy is one lucky dude if you ask me.

Anyway, speaking of weight, I have gained a total of (get ready for it) 1 lb. (lol) after my first checkup. I am currently 10 weeks and 5 days pregnant at 99lbs – I started at 98lbs 5 weeks then and 96 when I was not yet pregnant. This is quite surprising considering my ballooning tummy I thought I weighed much, much more. I thought I was being overweight. I guess all the other parts of me had lost some weight due to all the vomiting and nausea.

For Pregnant women’s information those who start out at a normal weight should gain approximately 25-35lbs during the 9 months. So where does it all go?

This is only an approximate of where the pounds go:

Blood – 3 lbs
Breasts – 2 lbs
Womb – 2 lbs
Baby – 7.5 lbs
Placenta – 1.5 lbs
Amniotic Fluid - 2 lbs
Fat, Protein & other nutrients – 7 lbs
Retained water – 4 lbs

Now we must remember it would be different when you started underweight or overweight before the pregnancy. Underweight women should gain a bit more around 28-40lbs and overweight should gain less only 15-25 lbs.

Hopefully I will not gain too much. Better stop thinking of ice-cream and halo-halo pronto.

Is it still Tuesday!? I badly need this week to end. I’ve been busy since Monday because of a lot of work. Luckily, the internet is back on today so I can catch up on all the pending orders. There are also a bunch of tasks waiting for me online so that’s a good thing.

Hubby’s project in Norway is almost done so he may come home sooner than expected. I take this news as good and bad. Good because he is coming home here with us (so he won’t be needing those formal tuxedo’s anymore) and bad because he has no work waiting for him here in the Philippines. So his options would include looking for another job overseas. I really do pray that everything will fall into place for us.

It was a gamble leaving his former low paying but stable job here to seek greener pastures and as far as I am concerned it was a gamble worth taking.

Hopefully something better comes along soon.

Our internet provider says they are having “system maintenance”  and the entire Cebu area is affected. What I don’t get is that why don’t they have a backup system especially for businesses like ours and others as well because it can really affect our jobs. And number 2, they had their “system maintenance” excuse since Friday morning, it has been 4 days, wala pa gyud!? ghad.

Got this nice text message from a friend:

…now tell me, when a friend is doing something really really stupid, does the saying “Mind You Own Business” and “Live and Let Live” hold true or should I be a REAL friend and tell her what I really think?

..What if this friend already knows you don’t approve and still not listen? Have you done your part as her friend or should you insist she change her ways?

That being said, and months passed since the last time we talked about this, I’d say I’ll mind my own business. Its her life she chooses to destroy. I’ve said my piece.

I’d like to have something like this in my room or personal space. Its very compact and uncomplicated to look at. It has a burst of yummy colors and it would not take too much space. Its easy to clean too.

Of course it would not hurt too to have that laptop or a fabulous pink laptop for myself. I have a borrowed IBM Laptop now from my father. It is very funtional but is in boring black.

If I get rich or win the lotto (I have to buy a ticket first) I’d buy a Sony Vaio in what else? Pink!

1st Week (Feb 02-08)

We invested on a very nice lot with the help of course of my in-laws. I was praying hard that if this was willed to be for us, then we can get it without much hassle. We did. Even though right now, it seems scary I know we will find a way. Also, it was my 6th week. I’ve decided to write down facts just in case I forget everything about the pregnancy once the little bean is born. You can read all about it here.

2nd Week (Feb 09 -15)

Busy, busy week for me. I had to run a lot of errands and paper work. Nothing much happened except that I had withdrawn some money from Paypal and finally I had no problems with UBP. The money was credited in as fast as 3 banking days. This was also my 7th week, almost the same time when I told my parents about my first pregnancy. It seemed like just yesterday, now I’m pregnant with my second. Read about it here.

3rd Week (Feb 16 - 22)

I received my ETSY necklaces. Now I am not one to buy stuff online especially from outside the country because I have little faith in the postal service here. But I could not resist and I had to try it. Good thing the transaction went smoothly and the package arrived even ahead of schedule.

It was my 8th week too. I was still feeling sick all day. Read more about the baby’s development here.

We also went to Jaro, Leyte to visit my Grandmother who was turning 92. Imagine? 92!? I would not want to live that long if it were me. Luckily for my grandma he daughter is very patient taking care of her. She has family and friends with her all the time so she is happy even though she doesn’t remember most of us and what day it is anymore.

4th Week (Feb 23-28)

This week is a bit of a challenge for me. We’ve received bad news and I can only pray that everything will be okay. If the Lord willed it then it is only for the better. Who are we to question. Personally I don’t find it earth shattering, just a minor setback to some plans.

Anyway, regarding my pregnancy, I’ve also found a way not to get nauseated all the time. At least now, on my 9th week I can feel the all day sickness inching away. Read more about that here.

I want to watch that John Lloyd and Sarah flick this weekend. I ♥ John Lloyd he is super cute. Got to find someone to come with me though.

We were looking at beautifully developed subdivisions in the north part of the City where it boasts of nice uphill houses with the beautiful view of the City’s mountain. I was really happy with what I saw and the lots were reasonably priced too. Just like those Fountain Hills Homes for Sale being offered in the town of Fountain Hills. If you and your family are into outdoor activities like hiking and boating, then this place is perfect for you. There are also premier golf courses like Golf Club at Eagle Mountain, SunRidge Canyon Golf Club, We-Ko-Pa Golf Club, and Fire Rock Golf Club. If you are not convinced they have a 32-acre park and a water fountain in the middle that rises higher than Washington Monument! Wouldn’t this be an interesting landmark in your area? The kids can easily go out and play and be active.

Right now, I am still very much interested in investing my money on a land rather than keeping it in the bank. There are lots of banks here that have closed! Isn’t that scary? All I know is I’ll just have to pray extra hard - nothing is impossible with the Lord.
