Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Weekly Newsletter

Last week we had some awesome things happening at VARIM! We had a Night of Hope where the presence of God changed us and we were encouraged and filled with hope from above! We also had Catalyst Cafe where we had new artists come out and bless us including singer/song writer Jill Hagen! It was tons of fun! Watch out for more events coming up on www.varim.ca

Join us this week on Friday Sept. 24 for our overnight prayer! We start at 10:30pm and pray all night long while the city is sleeping! Our overnight prayer will be held at the church at 15641 96 Ave. See you there!

It is such a blessing to serve with people you can sincerely call family. I believe each one of us has had to grow individually closer to God but I also know that iron does sharpen iron and so the time we have spent in fellowship has helped us grow spiritually and as a team. While I know what God has planned for us, I see things happening in us that have me convinced that we are moving in the right direction thus far.

Catalyst Cafe Update

Thursday, April 29th at 7:00pm we are having our second Catalyst Cafe! This is a night for young adults to come and chill and enjoy live music, specialty coffees, great food, live poetry, and art display! Its a great night for everyone, so bring all your friends! And its all for a great and much needed cause: Haiti relief. All proceeds for the night will be going to help rebuild the broken nation of Haiti! Spread the news of this night!!

Our Bible study is a fellowship open to all college and young adults who are journeying along the Christian path. In a world full of stress and anxiety, this fellowship is an excellent way to meet diverse young adults, break from a demanding schedule, and become empowered and challenged for the journey ahead.
The Young Adult Bible Study meets every Friday night at 8:00 pm at the church.
