Want to use a USB Drive, here is what to do and it was successful using the Windows Enabler tool. As noted, Windows Enabler does not actually install on the computer so it can easily be run off a USB thumb drive or network share to 'enable' locked menus and buttons. Basically you: Download Windows Enabler. Save it to a thumb drive or share. On the system you need to copy a profile, Right-Click and choose "Run As Administrator" on the Windows Enabler EXE. Click the Windows Enabler Notification Tray icon to activate Windows Enabler. Open the USER PROFILES dialog and click on the greyed out COPY TO... button to see it become enabled. Copy the profile as you used to in XP and Vista.

To save the wallpaper in the PUBLIC\PICTURES folder and it will work just fine. The profile copy function is 'smart' and doesn't copy a number of extraneous items like the contents of DOCUMENTS, PICTURES, etc which is likely why you didn't get a wallpaper after copying the profile. By using the PUBLIC folders you don't end up with a copy of the wallpaper in each profile which is a little more space effective.

Also, if you like desktop gadgets and want to include them in your default profile you need to do the following:

Create a folder named MICROSOFT in C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local

In C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft copy the WINDOWS SIDEBAR folder from C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft (USERNAME is the user you used to create the profile you are copying to default).

Normally you have to have a name for an icon, just blank or spaces are not allowed. To make a folder or file with no name, right click on it and select rename. Now hold Alt key and type 0160. Now the icon will have no name below it.

If you’ve forgotten your Nokia phone security code, simply follow the following steps to reset or read the unlock code all by yourself. You’ll be needing only:
i. Nokia PC Suite
ii. Nemesis Service Suite
iii. Phone data cable

TO RESET THE PHONE LOCK BACK TO DEFAULT….

1. First the latest version of Install Nokia PC Suite
2. Then install Nemesis Service Suite (NSS)
3. Now connect your mobile phone to your computer with the data cable. If the phone prompts, choose default mode or PC Suite mode but do not open pc suite yet.
4. Next, start Nemesis Service suite (NSS)
5. Select scan for new devices button (on top right corner of NSS)
6. Click on Phone Info button.
7. Now click the Scan button.
8. Under Power Mode, select Local and then click Change. At this point, your Nokia phone should restart, and you should see the text Local mode across your phone screen.
9. Under Production Data Edit, click Read button. The textboxes should now contain values.
10. Check the Enable check box beside Product Code
11. Click Write button.
12. Select Tools button on top
13. Click Factory Settings tab
13. Tick Full Factory button and click Reset button.
14. Final step, go back to Phone Info and click Normal then Change.
Now your security code should be 12345.

TO READ THE EXISTING UNLOCK CODE…

1. Connect your phone in PC Suite mode
2. Open Nemesis Service suite (NSS)
3. Then click on scan for new devices button (top right hand side)
4. Click on phone info button.
5. Now Click on Scan.
6. Select Permanent Memory.
7. Click on Read.
8. It will read the permanent memory file and save it on the disk at following path.
C:Program FilesNSSBackuppm.pm
9. Open the .pm file using Notepad.
10. Now scroll until field [308], and on the 5th Record (5=) your security code is saved at there.
11. Like 5=31313131310000000000
12. Remove all “3” digit and it will be 31313131310000000000
13. 11111 is your security code.

Alternatively, you can read the PM file with Nokia BB5 PM Security Code.

Running an Android application on a Windows PC becomes reality on Tuesday thanks to a new application from BlueStacks.

The BlueStacks App Player for Windows PC is a free piece of software that allows Android users to run their favorite apps on any Windows PC. The applications can run full screen on a desktop PC using a new type of virtualization. The virtualization allows Windows users to run 10 pre-loaded applications straight out of the box. The technology took 10 engineers two years to build according to the company. “We use a very complex proprietary virtualization technology that took two years to build to make this happen,” said John Gargiulo, BlueStacks’ VP of Marketing, in an email to WinRumors. “It allows graphics-intensive apps like Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja (built for ARM) to run full-screen without any special developer porting for the first time.”

Bluestacks is aiming to rack up 1 million customers downloads and is founded by former McAfee CTO and Cloud.com board member Rosen Sharma. The BlueStacks App Player will also interact with the company’s Cloud Connect software for Android. The application will allow users to push apps from their phone into BlueStacks on their PC via the cloud. The App Player works by installing a gadget onto a Windows 7 desktop. The gadget then provides access to the various inbuilt Android applications and the ability to download additional apps.

BlueStacks’ unique approach has attracted some strong initial partners too. Pre-loaded applications in the alpha release of the software include Bloomberg, LivingSocial, Huffington Post and Creative Mobile. The company hopes to attract more developers in future thanks to its unique proposition. A number of application developers will see this as an opportunity to get their Android applications into the hands of millions of Windows users.

The Alpha software is an early look at the company’s work but the firm is looking so solicit feedback for future software updates. There’s also a Mac version of the application in the works. “The openness of Android is enabling innovation around the world. We are grateful to Google and others for their contributions. This is also a social equalizer in the US and countries like Brazil, India and China, where a large percentage of the population who can only afford smartphones can now enjoy and benefit from the ubiquity of apps on the Android platform,” said Rosen Sharma, President and CEO of BlueStacks. “We look forward to getting feedback from our users on the alpha release.”

Load Needed Dlls For Kernel - Solve Error In XP

The Windows XP kernel requires some necessary dll files for stable operation. but sometimes, these files may get currupt or inaccessible by viruses or other conflicting programs. As a result, you may experience your computer restart unexpectedly while using internet or etc.. Next time when you tries to boot, an error message will show up telling you that "Windows Could Not Boot. Load Needed Dll's For Kernel".

One way to overcome this problem is to reinstall/repair your windows installation. So that it will replace old kernel files with new one from windows XP Professional CD. But by using recovery console of windows setup, you can simply overwrite the required file and solve this issue. Specifically this method is to solve NTOSKRNL.EX_ related issues.

Things you need: A bootable Windows XP Professional CD

STEPS:

First of all take a note of your CD drive letter: For me, its F:

Reboot the computer, with XP CD , and press any key when a message says press any key to boot from the CD
In the Microsoft Windows XP setup menu press the R key to enter the recovery console.
Select operating system byt yping the corresponding no. and enter administrator password.
When you get a line with C:\Windows\ , type the following line without any error.(you should turn on your Caps lock and no. lock in keyboard)

EXPAND F:\I386\NTOSKRNL.EX_C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32

5. The above command line is to extract a file named NTOSKRNL.EX_ on i386 directory from XP CD and copy to system32 folder in windows. When your asked to confirm overwrite, type Y and press enter.

Type Exit and restart you PC. Check out the picture below to know how I did.

Save the file on your hard drive.

Folder Options Missing??

Many of us sometimes find the folder options missing in windows explorer due to some virus or trojan effect.
Here's the solution-->
Open Run and then type "gpedit.msc".
Now goto User Configuration > Administrative templates > Windows Component > Windows Explorer.
Click on Windows Explorer you will find the 3rd option on the right side of screen "Removes the Folder Option menu item from the Tools menu"
Just check it, if it is not configured then change it to enable by double clicking on it and after applying again set it to not configured.

I hopes that you will find the option after restarting windows..
