A quickie post just to say i played two $2.25 tournies on fulltilt and first one i played came 3rd for $42! then played another and came 9th for $9.16! i feel i played very well in both games, but made a few mistakes on the second game when iw asnt concentrating fully when i had about 9k in chips and was sitting in about 8th place while the blinds were relatively low. I'm going to continue playing these small tournies consistently and see where it takes me lol....then hopefully once i build the roll up on fulltilt ill move to maybe the $5 and $10 buyin tournies. Not feeling well at all today (bad diarrhea)!! ewwwwww....which is why i cant belive the mtt results lol. Went for few drinks yest with a few mates and played a cash game only a little 0.10/0.20p game, bought in for £10 walked away with £20, ah well take it! Other than that still played some cash today on betfair first, losing about $25 there playing 0.25/0.50 when basically the money went in preflop with me having QQ and him AK....standard stuff...yes he hit i didnt. After that played PKR and made just over $50 there, it is very eaasy there, just very very slow.

Yes yes i no a long time posting.....tbh i just forgot about this bloggin thingy! January was a total nil on the poker front, as i was busy sorting out my wedding plans (which i dnt think i mentioned). Honeymoon was finally decided and booked....cmon guess where...yes uve guess it VEGAS!, then new york then barbados. And vegas wasnt even my idea was hers! honest...as shes heard so much about it, well i would never say no would i lol, anyway thats in october so a way off from now but time should fly by. Neways......
Thats right i played over 10k hands for feb and really put a quite some effort into my play, majority being on betfair playing $0.50/1. I done quite well to start then went on a little downward trend, so unlike normal instead of stayin where i was, i actually moved down to 0.25/0.50$ and told myself i would stay there for the rest of the month. Its easy when u put time and effort in and actually play a vast number of hands, i realised before i had so many leaks in my cash game play which mainly came cos i was prone to tilting when gettin outdrawn or summin silly. I still play a bit reckless at times but ive started to just shut my machine down and lessen the tilt lmao!!
Towards the end of the month i started playing on PKR and laddies and see what kind of BR i can spin up there still playing the low stakes of course. PKR is so slow lol! very hard to multi table but its a tiny bit more enjoyable plus thers more donks there and at laddies than other sites ive found.......we shall see what happens this month.......can i make it 2 months in a row jesus that would be an accomplishment which i havnt seen for agessssss!! GL me.

Well well....after playing £0.05/0.10 for a month then £0.15/0.25 this month im actually still in profit and ive played a tonn of hands which i cnt belive, so rare a profit is these days but which im very pleased with. I recently started playing $0.50/1 and testing $1/2 but i knw im properly rolled for it so wont be makin it my home just yet!! We all know this year has been down for me, majorly, but on we go for next year where discipline and bankroll management are my top targets. I aint even gonna set a goal to reach like i did this year for $100k lol! Oh ok ill set $10k for next year which i would be happy with....please please please i prey 2009 be it my year and there onwards.
One joke story while playing today at $1/2 was when some guy mentioned he was gettin TAXED......from poker!! I cudnt quite belive it TAXED from poker surely not lol. Quickly i figured he meant rake but just took the piss outa him, he really was unaware of anything and this was a player playing $1/2 jesus, wehre he goes tax is set at 5% lololol. WOT A DUM FK.

I dont quite know where to play when W-Hill moves to ipoker, dont relly like it there, but never really gave it a proper go, and what about rakeback and fishes??? Or do i go to Cake or Pokerstars or Fulltilt, ahhh questions questions.

Well.....i got just over $2 in rakeback from betfair lol! and ive got it up to $15 at time of writing this post. I played at 24+2 tourny on FT yest using some medals to gimme some token as i had no money haha, yes this converted to fuk all i busted 18/90 when my AKspades got busted. I was in top 10 in chips when flop comes 8A8 2 clubs on flop, he checks to me i bet 3/4 of pot and he shoves allin....so i tink for bit and i see its an easy call as i dnt put him on AA or an 8, neway he turns over 99? yeh basically it cam eon river with me fuming as it would of put me 3rd in chips and this tourny i probably played my best poker ive ever played.......ahhhh what can you do...cmon poker gods... ONE TIME!!!!!
Right so other than that screwage im confused lol....i dunno whether to carry on pursue cash or go to tournies or shall i go to full ring cash in stead of six max, decistions decisions, any ideas??
Went to rileys recently won the tournie there for like 146 pounds usual crap 25 player thing, even tho i won i still wasnt happy lol....ohh i dunno maybe im ill. Other than that i just been working fulltime not much poker playing but quite a bit of watching which makes a change jus railing high stakes and medium games and also end game situations in MTT's, also a note is it me or has even low stakes NL got a lot harder, ahh well maybe im rusty but i swear when i used to play this years ago it wasnt like this, bludy fish got better and the biggest one has jus been gettin eaten up this year....im all up for looking at turning bad into good negative into positive so heres my 50 millionth time to make it as a poker player.........

I played a $5 MTT yesterday and ended up blubbling at 28th ffs! I was chip leader probably about 5 or 6 hands prior to this and managed to blow the whole stack just like that!!! Was on corse to win the bludy thing and played well throughout up until that point when i played likea proper donkey....i duno why i do it sometimes when i get myself in good positions like that. I'm trying to find the HH for but cnt seem to.
I also played the $10k guaranteed on Whill earlier and went out early in that where i had basically had AA he called with 88 and hit set...standard stuff. Up until these 2 tournies i think ive placed in every one ive played recently, long may it continue just higher up the pay positions( Basically 1st) lol!
I'm currently playing a $3 knockout tourny on FT right now 6655 in chips 165 players left, blinds 50/100, cmonnn lets win this one!!
People out there may be wondering why i havnt posted anything about my cash game playing recently, well thats because ive decided to keep that hush hush , dunno maybe im superstitious, but everytime i tell ppl i start losing again, and if keep my trap shut i start winning....ahh well lets see hw it goes neway. I just finished playing a $5+0.50 knockout tourny on Fulltilt, ended up coming 18th out of 249 and again should of done alot better. I ended up getting $12.47 lol! yeh i know hardly worth it! I played well throughout nursing a short stack nicely and slowly built it up to be sitting comfortably 9th in chips at the later stages. The way i went out...i hated it.....this is the problems with MTT's, you can play so well for hours and hours, you make the money, then few places in get a hand and booom out u go! Maybe i should of just re-raised all-in preflop with my AQ...hmmm i dunno...any comments would be appreciated....thank you.

Just a quick post really to just say i think ive just become a sick player lol! Just won a £2+0.25p tourny on Whill, 177 runners got £106.20. Dammm cnt belive this recent run......long may it continue i say...wowsers, i no it was only £2.25 buyin and ive won much more in the past but this one feels different as i deserved to win fully lol!

Apart from that played a bit of cash, but fuk cash lol...tournies give that rush of when you win which lame ole grind of cash just cnt match haha, neway have wrk in the morning GL peoples.

Firstly i played on the cash games tables yest and started on about £2.40 playing 0.05/0.10p NL on Whill's. You may be wondering why im playing so low.....and no im not that broke lol! Basically had that figure sitting in my hills account so decided to see if i could spin it up into some big cash money. I got it up to about £32 happy days!!!
I was also playing on an MTT on fulltilt a measley $2+0.25, i ended up coming 35th out of 298 players, not too bad but could of done a whole lot better, of course the prize money was astronomical $3. Played a PLO $5 tourny on hills as well and came 1st (cha-ching) which payed out top 3 and i ended up with $65 ish, i am really happy with the way i played this one as i was in the top 3, mostly chip leader from the 2nd half of the tourny and maintained it which i normally bleed chips.
Moving on to today and i played a £2+0.25p Headhunter on hills which i just finished a little while ago and ended up coming 3rd out of 248 for £37.42, maybe im just running well, or has the Full ring cash ive been playing also helped me play the MTT's differently, i havent quite figured it out, but ill take it and move up the MTT buyins hopefully properly instead of just plonking and going for the $100+ buyins lol! Ive reverted back to full ring play as i cant take the swings on 6 max anymore, i think this is my game, seem too easy lol!, only been trying 1/2, and a bit of 2/4NL and i think it suits my game a whole lot better. I never really gave it much of a go before, but recently have read a number of blogs who play full ring, which i thought hey if they can make a consistent profit month in month out then surely so can i haha. Other than that not really played too much, been too busy trying to get a new job with better salary. Made $280 today, so not bad, will try to keep this up....oh yeh and post a bit more....

Played the $100k on betfair and nope done nothing at all went out quite early and played terrible, i dont think i will buy in to these large mtt's anymore and keep the $100 the max from now on i reckon. Also my aim is to get a wsop seat this coming month and im going to be playing alot of satallites and freerolls! Other plans is to maintain playing $2/5 and keep working on my game as i knw i can beat this level, i made a measley $183 yest lol! Still profits profit and im not gonna complain i just plan to make my next few month profitable for my own confidence, then switch it up a gear and try to get some discipline going and stop playing higher and on tilt which i do so much which really fuks my bankroll like a bitch.....
On to vegas holiday with mates which should be booked this weds!!! Still deciding where to stay but i think it maybe travelodge which is closer to the casinos than the one we first chose which was circus circus, all in all should be around the £650 mark for 7 nights with direct flights from virgin. Cant wait to rob all them fishess out there with some venomous bite...haha.
Ok off for some pasta and doughballs yum yum, then where else but the grind of online poker.....GLGL.

Played the Daily $16k on betfair which ive played once or twice before which is a $109 buyin i came 4th!!happy days.! I think i played so well and should of gone and won it, ahh well i think ill play it more often. I never hardly played a hand for the 1st hour as i wasnt getting jack shit, then i started stealing and re-stealing which seemed to work as i got respect. Also i tried isolating the original raiser quite a lot which i never used to do and used to jus flat call there raise with hands like 44 lol. I cant fully rememba the hand i went out on but basically i had AQs, low stack raises to 8k, chip leader calls, and i raise to 30k....bad move i knw i should of pushed cos it gave the chip leader good odds i had....fuk fuk fuk lol. flop came somthing like 789 and i had fk all jus ace high and i called the all-in cos i was pretty much committed, he had and 8 and that sent me packing.
Apart from that cash games has been jus evens stevens, think im $55 up from last post frm them just playing 1/2.

Well...its been a while ppl dunno if anyone actually reads this dam blog but anyway if u do things have started to look up. So far im up $3.6k for the month and gosh im playing so much better, playing 2/5 and 5/10 with abit of 1/2 chucked in there as well lol! Ive been hitting them draws, catching them sets and overpairs holding up, i nearly forgot wot it was like to stack someone it had been so bludy long. but to be fair this is fukin due to me after hw ive been past few months. More importantly confidence is back and with this confidence i logged into stars and tried there steps thingy for LAPT and WSOP, started on the $27 buyin ( fink its step 2) and got my up to the last step which is a $2000 buyin stt with the winner gettin a package. Naturally yep.....i went out 1st lol. I had QQ which i overplayed on a low board with all spades and i had the Q of spades. He had a set and that was that. I no i no i coul dof played it differently and lost less and tried to control the pot a bit better, but yeh ahh well ill start back at the $27 level i guess and do it again. Also got to the last step for the LAPT for rio but flunked that too coming 8th, where i flopped a set of 666 but he had JJJ......fkin gr8 stuff where top 4 get a package.
I think this steps thing has made me realise i might not be as shit as i thought with STT's as i once thought, duno fk knws maybe ive just improved recently on them or maybe it was a fluke, but neway im gona give it a good go probly on the $30 ish dollar buyin mark and see how it goes .
Other than that vegas should be booked end of the month for october, cnt wait. Anyone know where to get good deals let us knw....cheers....

Landed yesterday from luton airport to find it bludy freezin and a temperature of 1 degree! FFS! Was around 25 degrees in marbella. Had a brilliant time out there, went to a few bars got a tan, and just generally relaxed. Done alot of thinking about life really while i was chillin on the sun lounger lol. A new job is for a starters, build some of that motivation which has been lacking recently, also on the poker front really concentrate on it and take it seriously enough where each decision is thought through. Will post when ive played my next session, which will definitely be a profitable one, i aint gona take no shit no more and im gona stop blaming variance and bad beats etc etc. I'm losing far too much when on these downswings than i should be which keep piling on top of each other......anyway watch next post.

Well, its been a very up and down year to say the least, doing well during the summer months....then as soon as winter came i was getting hammered. Most was my fault for playing bad being a dick at the tables. Overall i made $18k mainly since june since i started recording my stats properly. This month ill hopefully have a profitable month but i wont be playing much now till the start of the new year, too busy going out partying drinking etc. Here are some quick aims for 2008:

-Stick to playing mainly NL500
-control my bankroll managment and try not to tilt easily
-Try to play more live tournies and cash games in casinos
-Play Lots and lots of poker lol!
-Make $100k
-Stop making hero calls with marginal hands.
-Not to play above 1/2 omaha

We'll see how it goes so good luck everyone and have a gr8 xmas.

Thats what i am recently, i had $4k in my balance, and then went on to bad beat and poor play it down to $283!!!! I then worked it back up to $2.1k.......cmonn!! Then later on that evening... this evening i went down to 1.1k playing 2/5 NL got fuked up the arse when i flopped AAA he flopped QQQ and turned it into quads...i mean cmonn ffs!!!!!! So sick right now, i got hardly nothing left in my betfair account now. Basically from the last post when i going well, well it went sharpish downhill as all that upswing is now in downswing approx $1.6k down in omaha and $353+ in holdem. BOLLOCKS! I may not play or post till 2008 now, merry bludy christmas!!!!

Just a small post really as im delighted with how ive played today, been playing a bit of 1/2, 2/5 NL holdem and omaha. I think i will be back at 2/5 very very soon and i dam well know i can beat it cmonnnnnn!!! Well....2day i made $716.94 playing omaha, $729.38 playing NL holdem for a total of over 1.4k!! Why couldnt everyday be like this? Hmmm...i ask myself this all the blooudy time, a fresh new start for the new year of 2008? i sure as well fckin hope so......leaving my job this time next year!? Off course i will be able to.....i hope.
Oh yeh and another thing, anyone else watch the TV series Heroes out there? This programme is totally sick! sick i tell u! Of course in a good way (sick). I'm currently on season 2 just watched ep10. For anyone who hasnt yet watched it do so, its by far the best thing on tv ive seen for years, totally addictive. Anyway enuff rambling....2mrw to the Empire casino leicester SQ. Cant fukin wait.

Last night had a game with some mates from work a big £30 buyin! Normally our games are only £10 on average, but we thought we'd change that for once. A full 10 player game which i came 2nd for £100! Deep-stacked play was good, but the game dragged due to other 'substances' involved if u get what i mean, but yeh me and a mate adam were heads up blinds 2k/4k which i was shortstacked so i went all-in with A4o and he called with A9 he hit a nine and that was that.
Online this month....sorry i should say last month of november i made:

$747.96 NL holdem
$369.86 PL omaha

$695 rakeback

total: $1812.82

This could and should have been a whole lot more, im trying to build up more rakeback playing up to nine tables now. Aims for the current month are to make $5k+ and a shitload of rakeback. Plans for tommorow are to go the casino in leicester SQ with my bird and just around london which should be fun, and go to some place called Tinseltown as it apparantly does some 'sick milkshakes'. Im still hanging over from last nights goings on, but apart from that time to play again.

Since the last post i ended up losing all of it, a mixture of bad beats and loose player. I keep thinking i can out play the player with re-raises, but forget its 1/2 and most of the time the fish will call, rather than higher up where they will respect certain moves and re-raises. So i just started playing basic poker really, tight aggressive with a the odd few bluffs on very rare occassions lol! I think this will be the only way to rebuild my huge losses, as at the time of writing this it seems to be working, so now i am $929 up this month, going down from 1.3k down to $-363 and back up to the current $929. I know this is so fuckin measley, but most important im happy with how im playing and off course it helps hitting the sets and getting paid off. Its all about the set, nothing else........the best hand i reckon for getting a lot of money. Also i noticed i used to raise most pair and any pair from any position, i have since calmed down and started limping with certain low pairs and folding at times too! I am going to head over to the 'VIC' casino in london, suprising ive never been as i found out its only like a 25min drive for me, ive heard its easy pickings on a fri and sat night, but then again so is online! Hmmm....nah i will go to play live as the only live cash games ive played were in vegas 2006. I aint gonna touch the tournies as im wasting my money it seems, ok thats enuff waffling, mo fo's gota earn sum dough lol!

First things first regarding the MPP CPC thingy on hills, no i didnt get a seat, went out 259th. I made a bad move i suppose, went all-in with 55 on BTN wen i really didnt need to as id been playing quite well up until that point, and the BB calls with KK. Ok i was unlucky to run into a big hand like that, but i could have waited for a better spot. Was feckin pissed off, esp when i say to myself ill learn and do things differently, but i still dont. And i do need to stop jamming that all-in button so quickly when i dont need to and a smaller raise would do the same job. I'm gona blame it on the fact i wasnt feeling well as ive come down with the flu! fukin bollocks lemsip and paramol beechams or woteva shit it dnt work and it made me drowsy lol!. I did play the betfair 16k and came 18th for $192....wow hahahaha! Also came 3rd in a $5 rebuy PLO tourny on Fulltilt for $110.

hmmmm....cash games im on the up so far this month up $1.3k. Been playing mostly $1/2 NL and trying not to fulfill my urge to play higher stakes. I know if i was playing fulltime im quite confident i could make a consistent income playing 1/2. I have also become more agressive in my play raising more in position than i used to, actually thinking about the betting on different streets and think about how im going to play back on the next street dependent on card and his range. Apologies for the long time since last post, also would like to say good luck to amatay for doing what ive always thought about doing and probly alot of others out there, that being Playing poker fulltime and quiting work. Been playing quite a few MTT's recently, only success coming in a headhunter tourny where i came 2nd for £126 for a £5 buyin. I think my overall play has improved vastly in tournments, but one thing i keep doing is going out near the bubble alot, after hours of play its quite frustrating. Maybe im not playing agressively enough during the bubble time, and leaking chips on hands such as QJo which i dnt really need to play when ive got an above average chip lead, as a few hundred here and there wasting chips on these type hands leak the chips for when the double hand comes up, and therefore dont have as much as i should. I have also been calling raises from the button raiser, then 3/4 betting pot on a untextured flop, e.g 553.

Cash games ive been very medicore, no major wins and no major losses. I guess i wont be making back my huge losses this month, noway near to be honest lol! My aim however is to do it by the end of 2007. Theres a carribean poker classic final satalite on William Hill ive bought into for 20,000 MPP's. I figured i just had the points sitting there gathering dust and really werent using them for anything, so hey why not! Theres 70 packages in total i believe with 1-20 places getting full package and 21-70 getting the lite package. I guess ill be happy with any package! hahaha........Wish me luck Nov 8th.

A quick little post while at work, I went rileys on tuesday night and came 4th for a magnificient £32....lol haha wp me! I think i played probably my best live game ive ever played, good timing, good folds, and getting paid on my big hands. I went out with A3o when i raised 3x blind only to be re-raised all-in.....i called and he flipped AA. I guess that was a bad move from my part but i was playing for 1st place and didnt wana just hang around trying to stay in for a higher money finish. Only 5k thousand more and ill be back where i was when playing well and making a profit every month. This will no doubt be a major losing month for me, and no matter how much i was screwing and down about it, i am set now for a major comeback and will grind it out at the 0.50/1 and 1/2 NL tables until i make back with more on top of the money i lost. I was playing out of my league and i know this and was really stupid.

Other things are i joined the video game style software of PKR and depositied $100. I went with $20 onto a 0.50/1 NL table and got up to $106 and left. I duno whether it was just the players i played or whether they are consistently that bad, but ill definitely be playing there a lot more from now on methinks! The graphics and format of site are all good, which i why i think the players play so bad as there just luving the playing with chips or taunting the opponents buttons etc. Also made a deposit of $50 on pokerroom.com while at work, but did not allow me to play real money games as the java version was old and would not update :( . So yes what else would i do but go home and play with it lol!! So went onto a 0.50/1 NL with $50 and got out at $212. My bad run changing??.....dam i hope so.
