V FESTIVAL 09 DONE AND DUSTED

Hard to believe that V Festival mach three is gone and we're descending into another long cold winter. Thank you to all who came, all who worked, all who volunteered and all who did anything at all to make this come together. As we do every year, we've learned from experience and we've read what you have to say and we'll take as much as we can on board for next year.

WORD TO YOUR MOTHER, THE ICE MAN CAMETH!

Vanilla Ice turned out to be the proverbial Icing on the cake this year at V Festival. More that 6,000 people crammed the Virgin Mobile Stage in Melbourne and Sydney to see the verdict - would he or wouldn't he be convicted for crimes against music. The verdict was clear! NOT GUILTY.

We are delighted to announce ... we have a winner! After pooling the votes of a variety of V Festival artists as we've spent some hours with them, we have arrived at a majority, but split decision!

The winner is....

M83!

PLAYING TIMES CHANGE - MELBOURNE AND PERTH

Please note a change to THE OTHER Stage for all cities that will see the schedule running early. We've heard concerns from many of the clash between The Killers and The Human League and therefore have tried to remedy. Madness

Anyone fortunate enough to sweat it up amongst the crowd flailing around at Madness in Melbourne last night, can confirm that this 10 piece has only improved with age.

It had everything - sing alongs, classics, the reclaiming of 'It Must be Love' from 'that' nappy ad and more love than you could poke a bowler and brolly at.

Snow Patrol - Thumbs up to Earth Hour

Snow Patrol became the first band in the history of V Festival to bring in Earth Hour last Saturday night in Sydney with an amazing a pretty moving dedication.

Snow Patrol performed their hit Run, illuminated only by torchlight for the first half of the song. Check it out here.

Kaisers and Razorlight

Here's a couple more fantastic live performances from the Kaiser Chiefs and Razorlight, who have both proved huge hits at the Festival.
