FFIXXED is a collaborative art and design project by Australian designers Kain Picken and Fiona Lau. Their vision is not just limited to producing unisex, pret a porter fashion, but includes other art and design related ventures - hence their clever disclaimer: ‘our website is constantly under construction’.
Their current collection ‘Customised Interdependencies’, has us falling in love with familiar silhouettes in new and exciting ways. It plays with textures and structural combinations that we’re wondering how we managed to live without. Some stand out pieces, a deep blue denim shirt with draped accents akin to that worn by desert roamers; slouchy knit cardigan that girls can conveniently ‘borrow’ off their boyfriend and a wispy, caped summer dress.

Colab recently announced their collaboration with Daniel O’Toole… aka Ears and we’re super excited to present their three amazing specs: The Dorks, The Lazy Blues in Mustard, and The Lazy Blues in Ruby.
Ears, is a Sydney born painter, skater, street artists, musician and regular human… he only discovered his emotive art had value selling scribbles on the back of old cardboard boxes at Newtown station and he hasn’t stopped working since.
Ears is a busy guy, he used to operate Oh Really Gallery, ran a Magazine, is the mastermind behind FreeTheBeats.com and makes music under his own name and others. Unbelievably, he still finds time to exhibit and paint with internationally renowned artists… and collaborate with COLAB.
