If you are the type of person that loves the water, the ocean and like to do different things then snorkeling in the Canary Islands is the thing for you. The Canary Islands have around 1,491 kilometres of coast were you can snorkel if you want.

The Canary Islands usually have very pleasant temperatures. This is due to the different temperatures in the north and in the south causing there to be an ideal temperature in the Canary Islands. This waters are almost crystal clear and are perfect for snorkeling.

Depending on the time of year that you are going to there might be different marine species such as tropical or subtropical from the northern part of the Atlantic ocean or species from the Meditarranean. Due to the recent problems there have been in the eco system the Agriculture Ministry has decided to have many marine reserves in the ocean and there plans for more in the near future.

If you are interested in visiting one of the Canary Islands the best one to go to is the islands of El Hierro which turns out to be perfect because it has very accesible prices and there are only 200 people living there the whole year round. They recieve around 3,000 tourists more that go there to snorkel than Tenerife and Lanzarote. Remember that if you want to go and scuba-dive then you must have a license to do so. This is done by attending a special course previously. If you wish to scuba-dive where the marine reserves are located you must get special permission to do so 15 days before your scheduled trip.

The Canary Islands have a few different islands that make up an archipelago next to the European coast. Tenerife is the biggest islands in the Canary Isalnds but La Palma is the one that has the volcanoes. This particular island is northwest of Africa in the Atlantic Ocean.

The island of La Palma is around 7 kilometres above the ocean. La Palma has been slowly been building up due to volcanic eruptions. La Palma distinguishes itself by three colors, blue, green and black. The blue is because of the ocean that surrounds La Palma, green because of it´s flora and black because of it´s volcanic rock. This is something that must be taken into consideration because people that live in La Palma take a lot of pride in their colors.

Today the island of La Palma is the one that has the most volcanic activiety and therefore has a lot of tourism. Visiting La Palma´s volcano could be the most interesting and extraordinary thing you might ever get to do in your life. That should be take into consideration.

The San Antonio volcano can be visited by everyone. Your visit might be seeing all the way to the top or it might be limited. It all depends on the weather and the time of year that you visit in. Tourist might want to camp out in the designated areas near the volcano. Remember that volcanoes get active around once every 200 years. The last time the San Antonio volcano was active was 1949. There are still many years to go.

If you are planning on going on a trip soon you might want to consider traveling to the Canary Islands. If you do decide to go to the Canary Islands you might also want to know certain basic facts from the region so that you are not taken by surprise at any moment. Knowing certain facts is important especially so that you are able to enjoy them.

One interesting fact about the Canary Islands is that they are an Autonomous Community of Spain a little bit similar to Puerto Rico. If you are interested in knowing it´s laws that are applied in immigration and customs areas you should know that they use the ones that are a part of the European Union. On the other hand it´s economic and tax part is something quite different and is independent.

The Canary Islands measure about 7,446 kilometres squared, it has 1,114 kilometres on the coast and 257 kiloemtres of beach space. The currency used is the Euro. The average temperature is about 22 C.

There are 8 airports and 1 ports that might be sports port, fishing port or marina. It is a place that is very accesible since it has sufficient airport support for the number of tourists they have. In 2008 there were 9,216,585 people that visited the Canary Islands.

Each island that is a part of the archipelago is special and pretty in it´s own way. Each one has it´s thing to be visited for. You can visit Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera y El Hierro. Each one is different and unique and has very diverse things to offer. There is also no need to worry with the whole hotel deal. Every hotel is nice, elegant and clean.

If you are ever around the Canary Islands in Spain you might want to take a look at Tenerife, the biggest island there. Here, you will not be able to turn around and not see the beauty there is. This beauty we tell you about is due to it´s nature, climate, flora and fauna.

Now, if you are in Tenerife then you might want to pop into “The Monkey Zoo Park.” You might be asking yourself what that is. Well, if you like every single type of monkeys then that is the place to visit. In the south of Tenerife you will find this interesting and one of a kind animal park.

When getting there you will find a monkey selling food. In this place it will be better for you to get some food and drinks since there is no other place where you will be able to do this. After all who is going to resist from buying food and drinks from a monkey. I bet this will be the first and only time you will see and live this.

At first you will think this is a normal zoo where you will see turtles and cocodriles. Here, this will be different because every single cage will be open and you will be able to walk around and touch the monkeys that want to be touched. You will be able to feed them. This is something that not many places will let you do.

At the end of your trip you will be able to see the caged animals such as leopards and different kinds of birds. I bet this will be a memorable trip.

At Jeréz de la Frontera the main attraction is it´s horses and their beauty. There the traditional horse fair gives people plenty of things to do. There are dozens of different types of horses that are being shown or that are performing for the public. There are carriages that are being pulled by horses, there are also horses dancing to the flamenco tune. For tourists it is a must-see especially because it is a traditional fair were many people get together. You might also get to see the Andalucia dances from the sevillanas.

You could also go around the Paseo Real. You might also get to be a part of the festivities and the different ways they do it. But, the most important thing of all this is the horses and the importance they have in Andalucia.

If your trip does not get you to the horse fair in time then you might want to go and see the galleries that take place in the Academia Real de Andalucia for the equestrian art. You might also get lucky and get to see a gallery with wine demonstrations. If you decide to get a glass of wine then you might want to relax in order to see the horses. You could also get to take a carriage ride or ride a horse. If you would want to have a more one on one experience than arranging a private class is the thing for you. There is no doubt that if you are a horse lover then Jeréz is the place to visit.

Spain is a country that is full of history and culture. It was been lived by romans, arabs and celtics as well as other cultures that have left their imprint on the Spanish country.

From the northern part of Spain to it´s southern point there has been a lot of influences from neighboring countries but it has also been a type of bridge between the european country and the african culture.

Today Spain is known for it´s flamenco flair, it´s bulls, culinary art, literature, paintings and architecture.

Flamenco is known as a type of dancing typically associated with the typical music in the souther part of Spain. This music is made by guitars, clapping, very expressive words, long colorful dresses for the women and somber dark colored tight suits for the men. Flamenco originated from the gypsy communities and it´s music has been influenced by the arabs and jews.

Another thing that many Spanish people love is it´s wine. There is Rioja, Jerez and Ribero del Duero among others.

The Spanish menu consists of a meditarranean diet that is very healthy based on that area. Due to being a country that produces fruits, vegetables, meat and fish it´s dishes are based on these ingredients therefore becoming very healthy and nutritous. For example, paella, fish plates, shrimp, potatoes, and onion tortilla as well as serrano ham.

Art is also a very important part of spanish history because there have been some very famous artists that have originated from there like Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró and Goya.

Gaudí is also a famous architect that has done a lot of work in the city of Barcelona. Gaudí´s works of art bring a twist of modern into his work. In literature there have been famous authors such as Cervantes who wrote El Quijote a famous novel.

Santander is one marvelous city that is situated in the northern part of Spain. The northern part of Spain is the less visited by tourists because it does not get a lot of attention even though it has beautiful treasures that are in dire need of discovery. It has small and quaint towns, beautiful views of natural landscapes and extremely sexy beaches.

Santander is the most important city of Cantabria (spanish region) that has around 185,000 people living there. This makes it an important city that extends itself all throughout the bay.

There are various different beaches and ports that limit the city to the north and south. In the XIX century the city was recognized as a city that was visited by politicians, aristocats and people belonging to the high society. Even now there are still many beautiful palaces to visit and observe many types of bohemian architecture in white and brown buildings as well as it´s very famous casino.

Santander still is a very important tourist stop in Spain especially to the people that live in Spain. Today Santander is slowly becoming a capital in holding conferences in many different topics.

This region also has a lot to offer for tourists that love nature. There are many hikes and nature trails that people can take. Also, there are many prehistoric places that people can go visit. There is also the small town of Santillana del Mar o Comillas which has a very famous university. Suances is also a good place to go when you are there because it is known to have nice and quiet beaches.

The Alhambra is one of the most spectacular places you will se in Spain. It´s greatness and beauty are two very important things that need to be taken into consideration when you go visit. The Alhambra is visited by thousands of people from out of the country and even people from Spain that want to see it. Managing to find cheap flights and good hotel prices makes it all worthwhile when you actually get to see the Alhambra.

The Alhambra was built around the last years of the muslim era in Spain. It´s decorations you will find to be very much like the morrish art. La Alcazaba is the oldest area and it was also built first. The Watch Tower is 25 metres high and the flag of Fernando and Isabella was put there. The entrance to the Alhambra is through the Door of the Granadas were there is a big arch that goes back to at least the 15th century. After you pas this arch there is the Justice door were the Moors often used it to judge people. To the side there is a narrow hallway that is long and goes to the Plaza of the Aljibes. You can also look at the Wine Tower which was built in 1345.

This places is so big and complex that it is impossible to describe it thoroughly. People find it incredible that it was done by hand and that each detail found on the walls was hand-carved or hand-painted. If you do plan to visit the Alhambra make sure to take note that it might take you anywhere from around 2 to 5 hours to see the whole place.

This region is also perfect for trying out the sun and the beaches especially with it temperature of aroud 14 celsius and up.

The capital of this spanish province is named A Coruña, the same as the province. This city is surrounded by ocean which is why for many reasons villages and towns have often dissappeared leaving behind leyends and myths that have left people wondering. The city is also one that has a lot of agricultural products that have been distributed throughout the region.

This region also has a very famous city named Santiago de Compostela which many find attractive because it is a very typical town that many people like to visit. That might also be something worrh looking into.
