Had my lou sang dinner for year 2014 with my colleagues at this well known seafood restaurant at Kampung Baru Subang - South Sea Seafood Restaurant.

I love the ambience setup and the various varierty seafoods served here.

Food is very tasty and fresh for a halal seafood restaurant. A bit pricey but you are paying for real quality stuff.

They got to improve their crab sauce as was a bit plain. Overall the food here is tasty.

I will come back here again for other dishes.

Allow me to drool you with the yet another awesome Japanese restaurant that I went to @ Pavilion ... no other than the well-known Kampachi Japanese Restaurant ... The restaurant offers varieties of fine Japanese food selection with a price to pay for ... All I can say it is not cheap to dine here.

We ordered Sencha "Okuseto" which recommended by the staff ... It is not cheap, for a pot of tea will cost RM 18 and per packet of this tea leaves (50g) will cost you RM 75!

Sencha Tea - An authentic Sencha from Fujieda City of Shizuoka prefecture. It is made ofYabukita cultivar. It tastes mellow with sweer after taste and gives a flowery flavor thanks to the cold environment of mountain weather.

Ordered the Shake Aburi Maki - Seared Salmon Roll topped with Grilled Eel ... recommened by the chef ... very good and tasty and delicious. The size is huge for one full bit. Too bad couldn't order their Fresh Sashimi as Yve is pregnant now.

Ordered this Satsuma Age Homemade - Deep-fried Homemmade Fish Cake for Dylan ... Taste normal to me but Dylan enjoy eating it ... maybe he is hungry.

Ordered their Soft Kano Maki - Soft Shell Crab Roll with Fish Roe and Cucumber ... all I can say that I love their sushi here.

This is mine - Ten Zaru Soba - Cold Noodles with Deep-fried Seafood and Vegetables tempura ... excellent and tasty!

Freshly Fried ... loving it with my Soba noodles ...

Here comes Yve's Kakiage Don - Deep-fried Shredded Vegetables and Seafood over Rice ...

Love the amount of fried onions ... tasty and delicious.

On the second day of my holiday trip at Ipoh, I went back to Pusing Public Seafood restaurant again to savour other dishes ... do enjoy the food pics. By the way, I truly enjoy my dishes in my second re-visit to here ... thumbs up for their delicious food!

Stir-Fried Rice ala Yong Chow style ... a must order and highly recommended ... very fragrant and love the rice texture and the taste ... simply enjoying this dish very much.

Ming Har Prawn Noodles ... I am amazed by the size of the prawns ... the taste is absolutely delicious ... ordered 4 prawns which cut to half ... price for this dish if not mistaken is RM 28 only .... consider super cheap compare to KL where you may pay probably above RM 50+

A must order dish when u come to visit this restaurant ....

The prawn is fresh and tender ... loving this.

Another unique dish which recommended by the restaurant captain was the Steamed Taufu with Fish Paste ... my family and even Dylan love the taste and the taufu texture ... it was so soft and white ... it looks like Yong Tau Fu version but trust me, once in your mouth ... this taste far better than Yong Tau Fu version ... Execellent and delicious dish!

Highly recommended ... must order!

We finished and licked cleanly by 2 adults and 1 small boy ...

Overall my bill came cheaper this time round about RM 49 (less than RM 50) ...

If you are hungry and looking for supper in Ipoh, come to Ipoh New Town at Jalan Yau Tet Shin ... it offers many local food varieties include the famous Lou Wong Beansprouts Chicken and this Fried Eggy Noodles (Wa Tan Hor) ...

I came here around 10 pm after my heavy dinner ... luckily manage to find a table ... got to know that this restaurant serves very good and delicious fried noodles ...

The Wa Tan Hor arrived finally ... firstly, I will smell the food and look at the darkness of the kuew teow noodles ... smells the wok hei very strong and the aroma of the fried kuey teow mixed with the gravy ... the texture of the kuey teow noodles looks very good (dark and well fried) ...can't wait to taste it!

Many thanks to my ex-colleague (Steven) who introduced me this restaurant to try their signature Fried Fresh Water Prawns ... I am so lucky that it is just a walking distance from my hotel stay (French Hotel).

Also known as Mun Choong or Min Zhong restaurant for locals ...

I came to this restaurant very early about 5.30pm cause I heard it is crowded ... when I stepped in, most of the tables is already reserved by people ... wow!

Luckily they got a small table for walk in diners ... Dylan boy playing with chopsticks while waiting for the food to arrive.

This is the restaurant signature dish (Fried Fresh Water Prawns with Soya Sauce) and a must order dish if you come to this restaurant. Wow, the fresh water prawns is huge and I can smell the fragrant of the soya sauce ... the waitress told me that I am lucky that the fresh water prawns just arrived else I would need to wait till later time. I give two thumbs up for this ... seriously the meat is so fresh and sweat and nice to dip with the soya sauce when you ate it.

Look at the size of the prawn! Big!

As I mentioned, I can lick finish the soya sauce finish ... the taste and fragant is one of its kind ... kidding u not! I am worry about my cholesterol level now ... sighhh.

Ordered Fried Egg (Fu Yong style) for my boy ... absolutely delicious!

Ordered their Fried Noodles ... did not know that this dish taste so so delicious ... u can feel the taste from the hot frying wok (wok hei) ... seriously this is damn good delicious! Overall, I really enjoy the food here. Yve said will come back tomorrow for dinner again. Yes, there will be part 2!

My bill came up to RM 73 for everything ... seriously cheap! I am preparing to pay at least RM 120 or more!

In fact, I came here twice to look for Restoran Wing Kat Fong which is well known for their Curry Cheong Fun and failed to locate.

I did not know that they had renovated and changed the name ...so for food hunters, do take note of this. Formerly known as the famous Twin's Chee Cheong Fun @ Restoran Wing Kat Fong, the resturant has just renovated and changed the name from Restoran Wing Kat Fong to Restoran Ma Chai (Twins)!

They served many different type of snacks and even nasi lemak and their famous fried chicken.

Seriously, I love Chee Cheong Fun and enjoyed this dish very much. Recently I was introduced by my local Ipoh friend which he mentioned that the CCF stall at Restoran Hao Tack Fook served a better CCF than this. I went there and try and even blog about it before I can make my verdict. The truth is, the curry and the sambal at Restoran Hao Tack Fook taste stronger and aromatic.

Twin's Chee Cheong Fun @ Menglembu - a must order if you are in Menglembu Town ... I will come back again to savour this again.

Yve ordered wantan noodles which served with soup prawns dumpling... taste good actually. Ipoh version ... a bit wet!

The prawns dumpling is tasty and love the soft skin ... nice and delicious.

This is a must order dish - Curry Pork Ribs Wantan Noodles ... seriously tasty ... hardly can find a good one in KL!

The curry mixed with the black wan ton sauce is just a perfect chemistry ... love the pork ribs ... meat is soft and tender!

Me and Yve gave our thumbs up ... should be two thumbs up! the noodles is so soft, silky and smooth when u chew in your mouth ... taste so delicious with the sambal curry ... I am a chee cheong fun lover and love the Wing Kat Fong CCF too but this taste better than Wing Kat Fong ... my verdict ... do come here and taste it out to claim my verdict is right or wrong!

My holiday stay in Ipoh - French Hotel ... French Hotel is located right in the heart of Ipoh city. Most of Ipoh's famous eateries such as Lou Wong bean sprout chicken, salted chicken, hawker fare, tofu curd / drink are within an 5 minute walk.

My family truly enjoy the stay here and the staff here are very friendly indeed. Love their fast speed WiFi ... if I am coming back to visit Ipoh again ... this is my pit stop place.

French Hotel - it is a 2 star hotel with 5 star comfort ... RM 138 per night!

Here goes my short holiday @ Ipoh cum Food Hunting ... can't wait to taste the original Ipoh White Coffee yet again after many years.

Here at Nam Heong Coffee Shop, which is located at the heart of Ipoh Old Town serve one of the very best white coffee in Ipoh.

Nam Heong - The selection of food here is limited, it’s not a food court. They have Chinese pastries, some dim sum and a few food stalls.

We came before the peak period ... The tables and seats are limited. Therefore, it can be really crowded at times. But it doesn’t take long before you get a table.You wont mind for the wait to try their white coffee!

You can add a selection of fish balls from the hakka mee stall ... taste very normal only.

Before I left, Yve tao pao some Nam Hong Egg tarts for tea time ... taste good!

On the second night in Penang, we went to Sea Pearl Lagoon Cafe at Tanjung Tokong to feast on some local seafood! Yve's very good friend introduce us this local favourite seafood restaurant which he patronized since childhood (20+ years ago).

The restaurant is located just right next to the famous Tua Peh Kong Temple in Tanjung Tokong. It is very hidden location and confirmed all the cars are Penang registered number plates.

I didn't know there got many different stalls located in this restaurant serving different type of foods ...

Have to come early for dinner else hard to find a place to dine ...

A must order dish - Deep Fried Baby Chicken ... it was very succulent and juicy and nice to go with the chilli sauce ... this dish will need to be order in a different stall. Normally, a young girl will come and introduce this dish ...

Amazed with the satays served here ... another must order dish ... very tasteful and love the satay kuah.

Hmmmm, this is pretty dissapointing a bit ... lack of flavour ... if can, try not to order big wok fried stuff from the last stall in this restaurant ... taste so-so and nothing special.

This is the famous dish in Sea Pearl Lagoon ... if u want to taste the freshness and sweetness of the prawns ... do order this Salt-baked Prawns. RM 36 for 1kg ... reasonable price!

The shell of the prawns taste very salty ... once you penetrate to the meat itself ... I can say you will be in Cloud Nine when u taste the prawn meat itself ... thumbs up!

You can dipped the prawns or crabs with this homemade chilli sauce ... anyway, we did not dipped our fresh seafood at all.

Last but not least, no trip to this seafood restaurant will be complete without the Coal-baked Meat Crabs! The crab was quite petite but super fresh.

Cooked with black burned marks, the flesh was succulent & sweet ...

A satisfying seafood meal in Penang! Sorry for the mess ... burrrppp ... Oooops.

I think it is HALAL cause saw some Malay customers (with tudung) dine here too.

Serious about their Fish n Chips ... this is the place to be @ Nemo Cafe

I was basically recommended by my friends and even my cousin - Amy that they mentioned that there is a nice tasty Fish n Chips and their freshly cut Potato Chips (special order as it is not listed in the food menu).

When the name of this Nemo Cafe were mentioned to me, it reminds me of the famous movie ... Finding Nemo ... anyway, it is very easy to find this cafe indeed. Situated in Plaza Mont Kiara and the cafe is located beside McDonald's.

I love their unique signage design ... very creative!

When they served this to me, I told the waiter that I am having here ... the waiter replied to me in very friendly manner, that this is their concept of serving their dishes ... WOW, nice presentation way!

I ordered the Philly Steak - A seared sirloin steak served with caramelized onions, romaine lettuce, cheddar cheese and tomato and tugged all in a Ciabbata. Simply delicious especially the sirloin steak is tender and juicy ... all just for RM 18.90!

Of course, I am waiting to try their Fish n Chips (Battered Dory) ... this order is Dylan boy ... me and Yve actually enjoy this very much indeed. A must order. For this Battered Dory , cost at RM 8.90!

This is a MUST MUST MUST TRY ... highly recommended! Homecut Potato Chips ... not listed in the menu, you must order from the staff directly. The potatoes smell u can smell far away and I love it when it is served with the potatoe skin with it. The spices they used on the chips was simply amazing ... I just dunno how to describe it.

Nice to go with beer!!! Must order this!

Homemade Tartar sauce ... nice to go with it and u can few bowls of it.

I ordered a side dish as the name of this dish caught my attention ... Chicken Quesadilla - Grilled Chicken topped with mozarella cheese, caramelized onions, aioli and sandwiched in 2 tortillas.

My favourite, caramelized onions and the huge amount of mozarella cheese thrown into it ... love the stickiness of it!

Fully satisfied!

Fresh and Cheap Seafood to savour ...

An hour plus drive away from Puchong – Tanjung Sepat is that place in your heart once you allow the charm of this old fishing to sink into you for fresh and cheap seafood!

To get to Tanjung Sepat, get on the Kesas highway and exit at Banting. Continue south until you pass TUDM and Morib Beach. Tanjung Sepat is right after this. Look out for the signboard which will lead you to turn left into a new village.

I have read many food reviews on this Ocen Seafood Restaurant or Ocean Seafood Restaurant which is situated just next to the famous "Lover's Bridge".

The crab taste so sweet and simply love the smell of the fresh crab! I will come back here in 3 weeks time ... no joke!

Seriously, when this dish came, I thought it is gonna be expensive with the amount of large prawns given ... 9 large prawns. This dish is absolutely delicious the prawns is cooked with chinese rice wine in claypot.

Look at the size of the prawn ... The prawn taste so sweet and the meat is so tender ... yummy.

One of the best teohchew-style oi chen I tried ... the oi chen is fresh, no smell and very juicy !

For a meal with 1kg of crab, 1 claypot of large prawns (9pcs), 1 stir fried vegetables, 1 fried oh chien, 3 x white rice and 1 packet of keropok ...just cost me RM 93 only where I am holding RM 150 in my hand to pay the bill. Seriously cheap!

If you have some spare time, look around as there are many good eats to be found here as well. The Hai Yew Heng coffee shop at Lorong 5, is said to have good pau and coffee.

Fresh and Delicious Seafood @ Morib ...

Yes, it was 3.30pm and was a freaking hot day at the beach. After checked into Morib Gold Coast Resort, went to this nearby Seafood Restaurant which was introduced by my colleague - Prasad for good and fresh seafood. I just hope that the restaurant is opened during this weird hour.
Thank God, it is opened and amazingly, there is quite a number of people dining seafood at this hour too.

While waiting for the food, Yve and Dylan boy took a walk at the beach ...

He just love this see saw so much ... keep him accompany a while ...

Fried 'Kam Heong' Lala ... my verdict: I didn't expect the lala is so huge cause I worry of the juice in the lala meat will smell ... I asked the boss got smaller version like venus clams ... the boss told me to have a bite of it first ... suprisingly, it was very fresh and trust me, lots of juice pouring out from the lala ... the boss told me that the lala clams just brought out from the sea an hour ago ... no wonder it is so fresh and the meat is so tender. The Kam Heong sauce is delicious!

When come to Morib which I read many good reviews of their fresh seafood ... wat else, I cant resist to order Fried Bihun with Crab ... when the dish searved, I was wondering where is all the noodles ... it is all hidden at the bottom of the crab ... gosh, me and yve got shocked with the huge amount of crab served ... wonder this whole meal will cost us above RM 80! Anyhow my verdict on this dish: Must try the crab in Morib ... seriously fresh, meat is tender, the crab meat taste sweet!

Lastly, a must order their fresh fragrant coconut when u dine under the hot weather ...

Guess what, the whole meal just cost me RM 47 only. Seriously cheap!

I simply love this place as most of the weekend, I will frequent here to enjoy eating their dishes below. Yve always complaint to me, aiyoh ... Din Tai Fung restaurant again ... not bored meh!!! HAHAHA ... to me, good food won't be bored for me.

Here comes my favourite dish ... Shrimp Fried Rice ... looks very simple dish but I can guarantee u this is one of the best fried rice I enjoyed so far with the amount of fresh shrimps they cooked with it.

If you don't like rice, you can order their noodles ... very delicious too!

This is one of their signature and famous dish too, stir fried baby french beans with minced pork ... a must order dish and nice to go with rice and noodles too.

The Story of Din Tai Fung:-

In 1970, Bingyi Yang, the founder of Din Tai Fung started his business selling cooking oil in a small shop. The name Din Tai Fung was a combination of two other shop names. One was Din Mei Oils where Yang bought his oil from. The other was Heng Tai Fung, a shop where Yang began working in when he first arrived from China. Business was good until canned salad oil was introduced to the public, and shops like Din Tai Fung became obsolete.

Yang converted his business into a restaurant selling dumplings and noodles in 1980 and toiled through the years to refine the secret recipe of Din Tai Fung’s Xiao Long Bao. The end result is a delicious soup-filled dumpling with at least 18 delicate folds. Today, the original outlet still stands on Xinyi Road in Taipei and there are more than 40 Din Tai Fung outlets in 10 countries.

Din Tai Fung has been voted Top 10 Restaurants in the World by The New York Times and has garnered 1 Michelin Star.

Sang Har Noodles at Restoran Sang Kee, Lorong Yap Ah Loy

Food Street Hunt during Friday lunch hour ... all of us are craving for the famous Sang Har Noodles (Fresh Water Prawn Noodles) ... enjoy my food street hunting experience @ Restoran Sang Kee ...

It was tucked in a very secluded area ... the best experience, you have to walk through this filthy and smelly back lane to get to this restaurant ... i love this experience :)

Darn, we were early and the restaurant already full house ... luckily manage to find a table for 3 pax ... by the way, my advice is that this place is hot and heaty , do try to wear something thin and comfortable!

I like the natural lighting here ... never regret to come here :)

Finally, the main dish is here which is the Sang Har Noodles ... with 6 giant water prawns, this meal cost us RM 87 for 3 pax, basically RM 29 per pax ... wow! The gravy of the noodles is excellent with the juices flavour is mixed with the gravy and the prawn red eggs was soaked into the noodles. Taste wise is good for me except the water prawns is not so fresh but we still clean it cleanly.

This is a must order dish , stir fried beef noodles ... the beef meat is so soft and melts in your mouth. It doesn't taste much of flour taste which is excellent. This dish cost us RM 17 for 3 pax. I love this a lot!

Dinner at Mezza9 Restaurant Bar at Desa Sri Hartamas

As promise, I am back with Food Photography after years ... went with friends to dine here to chill out as we spotted a very new place at Desa Sri Hartamas ~ Mezza9. Is a very nice ID Concept Restaurant Bar to explore and to dine here.

Experience the ambiance and the conceptual design of the whole restaurant paired with food cooked and prepared by our award winning Chef (Sentidos Tapas, Starhill).

As usual, let the pictures do the talking ... enjoy viewing my pictures.

The ground floor is non smoking to make your dining pleasure more comfortable, however smoking is permitted on the mezzanine floor where you can enjoy a smooth glass of wine or a shot of Single Malt whisky where the bar is centered.

Play with camera settings without flash ... by the way, I love their lightings here.

Mezza9 Caesar Salad ...

Garden Salad with Balsamic dressing ... very tasty and healthy indeed

The Salmon Bruschetta comes with 2 pcs ... must eat it when the bun is hot and simply love the freshness of the smoked salmon.

Ok, this is a must order dish when you are Mezza9 ... Braised Oxtail! the meat is so tender soft, flavourful and melts in your mouth!

Sound simple but packed with a oomph of the tomato flavour ... Meatball in tomato sauce.

Everyone simply love this Mushroom Bruschetta ... the mushroom flavour is strong and nice to go with the bun when it is hot. I can ate this dozen pieces if my stomach permits :p

I love this Salmon when it is charred a bit especially on the skin part ... Honey and Grain Mustard Glazed Salmon accompanied with Zucchini and Asparagus.

The taste caught my suprise which I like it very much ... the Mint marinated Rack of Lamb Fondant Potato and Roasted Cherry accompanied with potato and roasted cherry tomatoes.

Yum Yum ... King Prawns Spaghetti Aglio Olio ...

The Black Angus Rib Eye served with mediterranean vegetables, jacket potatoes and corns.

Dessert time - Profiteroles which served with vanilla & chocolate ice cream ... nice!

A must try of their signature dessert - Chocolate Lava cake with Orange Cream Anglaise.
