<itunes:summary>The Melbourne Cup affectingly referred to as the race that stops a nation, is the one horse race even non punters want to win. Picking the winner of the Melbourne cup is the ultimate success, but of course few manage it.

My friend and colleague Max Hitchins however, has a formula that’s too good to ignore. Admittedly he studies the cup year round and can remember the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place geters for the past 100 years, but his success rate is uncanny. He’s picked 21 of the past 23 winners of the cup.

That’s good enough odds for me, so I thought you might be interested too, to hear how he does it.

Max Hitchins' Twitter handle is @MelbourneCupMax.  His Melbourne Cup web site is PickTheCupWinner.com.au. His Melbourne Cup Blog is TheMelbourneCup.Wordpress.com.</itunes:summary>

Your customers are already tweeting on Twitter, and it's time to join them. But what if you don’t know anything about it?

I recently read a book entitled Twitter Marketing for Dummies by Kyle Lacy. Although I already knew a reasonable amount about twitter, Kyle’s book really opened my eyes to ways I could be using it more effectively for business.

I was so impressed with his book that I contacted him and asked him to do this podcast with me. Listen in; I’m sure you’ll find it worthwhile.</itunes:summary>
