Stunning Color from Canon Neoreal

The use of color is something that is constantly evolving. With a seemingly unlimited number of possibilities, seeing new ways to create dimension through the use of color is always an enlightening experience. Within interior design, the experience is similar. Drawing inspiration from natural color arrangements and modern color choices, the variety of designs are unfathomable.

Take a look at some of the projects from this year’s Canon Neoreal presentation at Milan Design Week. The goal was to create a natural looking environment from high-definition, digital imaging products. Titled “In the Forest,” the installations are incredible.

Though you can’t tell from these pictures, the installations offer a constantly changing spectrum of color, image, and sound – boasting similarities between the way our own natural environment is always changing, yet through the modern angle of high definition viewing.

This month, you might run across Victoria Lyon Interiors in more places than you’d expect – on the other side of the world, to be exact. Interior design certainly isn’t something to be valued only here in America, it’s a passion that spreads globally and this month, we have the pleasure of being the Featured Designer of the month of May in Top Decoration World Magazine, China’s largest decorating magazine.

The magazine is no stranger to affluent design as past issues have included such celebrity designers as Phillipe Stark and Kelly Hoppen. Top Decoration World features the best in new design products and innovative ideas and we’re delighted to be in good company.

Taste Festival Berlin Joins Culinary Art and Contemporary Design

The wonderful thing about art is that it crosses into so many forms of design. Not only is art something that you’ll experience through pictures and drawings, but its also something that we experience through taste and touch. This never more evident than it will be at this year’s Taste Festival in Berlin.

The multi-disciplinary Taste and Design Festival is an event central to exploring the creativity that art inspires. Held at the Direktorenhaus from June 1^st through June 10^th, the venue is much more than a compelling location. The venue is the supreme location for all art and design in Berlin.

At Taste Festival, guests will find “…an unprecedented opportunity to learn more about taste, the sourcing of ingredients, the experimentation behind the dishes and cultural significance of dining.” The combination of exhibits featuring culinary art and contemporary design is a setting that will be rare opportunity. We look forward to hearing and seeing more about the event during the approaching weeks.
