The best of 2011 VIEW AWARD and ITALIANMIX in tour around the world!
From Paris to Athens, from London to Barcelona, with a stop in
Columbia and Australia, the ‘Best of VIEW 2011′ starts the 2012 with an worldwide tour
through the best film and animation festivals. It will come back in
Turin at the beginning of March, guest of the Piemonte Movie gLocal Film
Festival. The rendezvous is @ the Blah Blah, march 6, h18.30!

Here some of the works included in the selection: “A Morning Stroll”
directed by G. Orchard (Studio AKA), “Paths of Hate” directed by D.
Nenow (Platige Image), “De riz ou d’Arménie” directed by H. Marchal, S.
Barras, R. Blondelle, C. Seille (Supinfocom Valenciennes), winner of the
2011 VIEW AWARD and “Four” directed by M. Premuroso, winner of the 2011
YOUTH ITALIANMIX .

DIGILIE ATC

Digilie ATC, Autodesk Training Center, is a vocational school specializing in courses and master dedicated to the entertainment field. All courses are based on real production workflows, to introduce the students to the real work processes.
The main courses are devoted to 3D graphic animation and digital special effects, to the video game programming and to the Concept Art and Design, with Autodesk certification issue. The courses are open to all and does not require any basic knowledge. Digilie is also a Studio for the production of 3D Animation and Visual Fx. We offer stage post-course to students who are particularly skilled, to participate immediately in real productions.

84th Academy Awards Selection

Great success for the VIEW guests!! Enrico Casarosa’s La Luna (Disney/Pixar), premiered during VIEWFest last October, and A Morning Stroll, (by Grant Orchard, Studio AKA), one of the winners of the VIEW AWARD 2011, have been nominated for Best Animated Short Film in the 84th Academy Awards.

Transformers: Dark side of the Moon and Real Steel, which were presented during the last edition of VIEW Conference by their visual effects supervisors, respectively ILM’s Scott Farrar and Digital Domain’s Erik Nash, have been nominated for Best Visual Effects. Rango, screened during VIEWFest, has been nominated for Best Animated Feature Film.

But it does not stop here, Wayne Stables from Wetadigital, who delivered a presentation about the visual effects of the Adventures of Tintin during VIEW Conference 2011, was nominated for BAFTA.
