Vijay Unveiled Thalapathy Anthem

The Thalapathy Anthem was released amidst huge army of fans in Chennai today. Ilayathalapathy Vijay graced the event and released the two song album. Commenting on the album, Vijay said, “It doesn’t matter to me about whom the album is about. I would have attended the event anyhow. I’m here to respect the efforts of these people.” Appreciating his fans for supporting him in all his ventures, he said, “I would not call you wonderful people my fans. You are all my friends.”

He also said that he will be honouring the Tamil Nadu 10th and 12th class toppers and would be hosting a dinner party for them. He has announced that he would be doing this every year.

The Thalapathy Anthem is an album about actor Vijay and his off screen qualities. Vatsan CR is the album’s creative head and has penned the lyrics along with Dinesh. Amogh has done the rap sections in the album. Gautham has wielded the camera and Lokesh has edited it.

Rumour is spreading like wild fire that Director Shankar is going to do 'Ponniyin Selvan' with 3V - Vijay, Vikram and Vishal. Padam first class. Its completely a different movie for vijay. All the supporting characters (jiiva, sathyaraj, srikanth, s.j.suryah, vasanth) did their part fantastically and made no mistake. Vijay in a different role makes to enjoy the movie. No punch dialogues, no fights, no revenge as previous vijay movies. Ileana did her part well but cant compare wit kareena because something was missing. Dialogues were very good. You might have thought that we didnt mention about sathyan, because he was outstanding in his role and performance. Anuya also did her job well. As Shankar mentioned. People who don't like Vijay will love after watching this movie. Sathyaraj was extraordinary in the role and well suit for the character. In many scenes Vijay made us shed tears from our eyes.
Shankar used everyone really well in the movie. All suits their character perfect.

Great news for Ilayathalapathy Fans....2012's much awaited Shankar directed flick Nanban will be releasing on Jan 12th as a Pongal treat to all the Vijay fans all over the world. The Bookings are open from Jan 8th 2012. Nanban will be releasing in more countries other than India including UK, France, Germany, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and many more major cities.This is for the first time a Vijay movie is releasing in France.

Nanban is the remake of Bollywood Blockbuster ' 3 Idiots' directed by Rajkumar Hirani in which Aamir Khan, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor played the leading roles. It was a big day for the Coimbatore crowd yesterday (December 23, 2011). The reason was the audio launch of Shankar's upcoming film 'Nanban.' The audio was launched at the venue of Harris Jayaraj's live concert - On The Edge, and the place was Hindustan College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. Harris also is the music director of this youthful Shankar entertainer.

The entire team of 'Nanban' was in attendance for the audio launch all inclusive of the director, Shankar, the lead stars Vijay, Srikanth and Jiiva as well as the crew members. While Vijay and Jiiva were clad in semi-formals, Srikanth looked smart clad in a blue Superman T-shirt. Shankar was in his signature self. Veteran Sathyaraj who plays an important role in the film was also present for the audio launch.

According to reports from Coimbatore, nearly 19000 people were expected for the event and come they did! Along with the audio release the trailer of 'Nanban' was also released. The first disc was released by Prabhu. Vijay's Docomo ad was also screened on the big screen. When Vijay took to the stage he was all in praise for his director Shankar. He also revealed that he had earlier missed a chance to act in the former's film, 'Mudhalvan', but did not want to miss the chance second time around, that's how 'Nanban' happened.

Ilayathalapathy also revealed that his co-stars Srikanth and Jiiva had become absolutely close to him. While Srikanth was a friend of Vijay even before 'Nanban', the actor revealed that he had also got really close to Jiiva during the shoot of 'Nanban.' 'Srikanth has also done complete justice to the role Maddy did in '3 Idiots,' said Vijay.

While Vijay spoke of Jiiva he said the latter was the prankster of the team, off camera. He used to crack hilarious jokes just before a serious scene was about to be shot and immediately got into the mood of his character. But it was Vijay who used to find it difficult to hold himself from laughing out loud.

RJ Shiva was the perfect host who carried the show forward. After Vijay spoke about the film, Shiva along with the crowd urged the actor to sing a song from the album. Following this demand from the crowd the actor sang 'Edho Panale...' and the crowd went crazy. Harris Jayaraj had earlier done the jingle for Vijay's previous Coke ads, now the songs for 'Nanban' too have come out really well said the actor.

The crowd went ecstatic seeing the cast and crew of the film all in one place. And in all it was undoubtedly a grand audio launch for 'Nanban!'

Good news for all Ilayathalapathy fans...!! Vijay's much awaited flick " Velayudham " will be releasing on Oct 26 - 2011 as a real diwali treat for all. It is sure that there will be a tight competition with Shah Rukh's 'Ra.One' and Surya's '7am Arivu' on this diwali. But Velayudham team is trying their best to get more theatres as possible. There will about 1200 prints of the movie with 350-400 worldwide releases. 38 releasing centres are there in Chennai.

'Velayudham' is a mass entertainer with the South India's mass hero Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the title role. It is a superhero film with Genelia D'Souza and Hansika Motwani playing the lead roles. Saranya Mohan will be in a role of Vijay's sister and Santhanam will handle the comedies. Hit director M.Raja ( Jayam Raja) is the director of this action thriller which is produced by the renowned V.Ravichandran for Aascar films (P)Ltd. South India's one of the leading distributors Ayngaran Movie International will distribute the prints. The rocking music is composed by Vijay Antony who had worked earlier with Vijay for Vettaikkaran.
