We are now open from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm daily.

Monday, December 24th – Christmas Eve
We will be open from 7:30 am until about 5:00 pm.

Tuesday, December 25th – Christmas Day
Village Ski Loft will be CLOSED.

If you must return rental equipment on Christmas Day, you may do so at the Village Ski Loft at Diamond Peak, located on the lower level of the base lodge. Rentals may be returned between 9 am and 4 pm.

Wednesday, December 26th
We will resume normal business hours for the remainder of the season – 7:30 am to 7:00 pm, 7 days a week.

It is the eve of ski season on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe as a handful of ski resorts are poised to turn their lifts this coming weekend.  The forecast is promising; several bands of precipitation are lined up off the west coast ready to coat the basin in white and bolster what has already been a great start for the snowpack.  The start of another winter means that Village Ski Loft’s tuning equipment is humming, the boot benches are busy with fits, and we’re ready to help our loyal customers with all their winter needs.

This winter we will be bringing you all the service and expertise that Village Ski Loft is known for.  We have Incline Village’s best selection of ski and snowboard equipment and clothing, as well as world class ski tuning and custom boot fitting.  To top it off, we offer quality, affordable rental and demo equipment to make your trip to the slopes complete.  A new service we are proud to offer is the ability to reserve your rental and demo equipment online, so that you can plan ahead and book your rentals before you set foot in the shop.  To get started, click the rent now button on the right side of this page.  As always, we are also happy to serve our walk in customers and keep plenty of gear handy to satisfy almost everyone’s needs.

The 2nd Annual Arne Backstrom Blastathon is shaping up to be even better than last year!  Two days of fun are on tap;  Day one features a group stand up paddle on Lake Tahoe hosted by Willard’s Sport Shop at the “Y” in Tahoe City.  Registration begins at 8 am and the day’s activity will be capped off with a raffle, lunch, and beverages supplied by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.

Day two is a group mountain bike ride on the Tahoe Rim Trail, starting at Tahoe Meadow and finishing on the Chimney Beach Downhill.  Registration starts at 8 am at Village Ski Loft, in Incline Village.  Specialized Bicycles will be here with their event vehicle supplying 2013 demo bikes and the ride will be followed by lunch and beers supplied by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.  We will also be holding a raffle with prizes furnished by Blizzard Skis, Tecnica Ski Boots, Patagonia, Soul Poles, Five Ten, Oakley, Village Ski Loft and more!

The entry fee for the event is $50 for both days or $30 for a single event.  Entry includes one raffle ticket per day, catered lunch, refreshments, and a limited edition Patagonia Blastathon event T-shirt.  Please RSVP for the event at: https://www.facebook.com/events/219771744817568

Today marks the start of the 99th Tour de France. Over the next three weeks the worlds best cyclists will endure 3500 kilometers of riding over 20 grueling stages in a chase for the Yellow Jersey. The Tour will take riders all over the French countryside, Alps and Pyrenees mountains, across the famed cobblestones of the Paris-Roubaix, and culminating at the Paris Champs-Elysees.
