New Release – Summer Sunset Cavey

News just in from Cavey HQ, a new limited edition tie dye design called Summer Sunset Cavey!

Made from white cotton jersey and tie dyed by hand ensures that every one will be unique and one of a kind. This cavey will be limited to 75 pieces so you better be quick when it’s released, these guys sell out fast!

As if you needed any more reasons to add one of these to your collection, each Cavey will come accompained by a glitter enamel Cavey badge and a tie dye bag for him / her to hide in!

You can grab yours for £16.00 from the Cavey Shop on Thursday the 7th of June @ 8:00pm GMT.

Exhibition: Jon Burgerman – I Want To Eat Myself

Ever wanted to see Jon Burgerman working in a pizza restaurant? Well now you can!

On the 1st of June Jon will be heading down to Carmine’s Pizza Factory in New Jersey for the “I Want to Eat Myself” exhibition presented by Mad Mad Media!

Jon will be an employee for the day making “special pies“, doodling and be an all round cool guy.

The walls of the restaurant will be covered in Jons crazy doodles and characters, so if you haven’t had a chance to see them for real before you should definitely go and check this out if you’re in the area.

Not only that but there will be a live performance by “The Pizza Kid”, the world’s youngest pizza dough spinner!

Upcoming UK streetwear brand AnyForty has teamed up with T-World and a whole host of amazing designers to produce the “Australian Invasion” t-shirt series!

All of the amazing artists who have contributed have been hand picked from “down under” (Australia!) including Meggs, Numskull, Purdi Petunia, Travis Price, Ken Taylor, Deb, Ben Brown, Dale Bigeni, Ben Bigeni and Beastman.

If you’ve never tried an AnyForty t-shirt before this is a great time to, the quality of the prints, material and packaging are second to none. The ranges that they’ve been releasing have always been excellent but this latest one is extra special with each t-shirt also coming with a 24 page artist specific version of T-world!

“To celebrate the recently released AnyForty & T-world The Australian Invasion Series, we got our mate, and all round director/animation/design genius Broken Antler to cook us up some visual candy to help promote the new drop.

Filmed on location at White Duck Screen Print in Bath and at Broken Antler HQ just outside of London, with some lovely Rick Nunn shot images from our lookbook shoot thrown in the mix, it truly is a family affair!

Seeing as us, a UK brand, hooked up with some great Australian artists to make the range, there was only one choice for the soundtrack, when UK producer Beat Butcha remixed one of our favourite Australian mc’s Brad Strut’s track “Official”, we needed it badly! We got the rights to use it a few months back and the whole promo was built around that head nodder.

Everything about this whole project screams official, we don’t fuck around, we hope you enjoy the promo and more importantly the tees!”

Exhibition: Squidballs at Osaka and Harajuku by Rumpus Animation

We’ve just found out about an ultra exciting exhibition being held by Rumpus Animation … Squidballs!

There will be 2 exhibitions, the first will be in Osaka at the Loop A Gallery on the 28th June – 1st July with the second taking place in Tokyo at the Irie Yawd Gallery in Harajuku from Friday July 6th – July 8th, so if you’re one of our Japanese readers or heading over to Japan, be sure to check it out!

The exhibition will include plenty of work from Rumpus Animation such as music videos, short-films and character animation. There will also be character designs and illustrations on display from collaborations with designers including Matthew the Horse, Jon Boam, Kate Hindley, Peskimo and Le JamBonBon!

Fancy adding to your collection? Good news there will be loads of prints, original paintings, limited edition books & zines, t-shirts, post-cards and toys available to buy.

Not only will you be able to buy a whole hoard of goods but Seb from Rumpus will be at the shows doing live drawing, chatting and handing out sweets!

Competition: Design the Dubai Mall MEGA

The guys over at Foo Dog in Dubai are currently holding a competition where you can win the chance for your design to be crowned the official “The Dubai Mall’ MEGA“! You will also be featured along side all of the other 150 artists that are taking part!

To be entered into the competition all you have to do is:

Just caught a glimpse of this awesome custom Dunny from Jason Limon on facebook.

Really loving the idea and work that have gone into this piece, you can see some serious sculpting has taken place! The green & orange contrast so well with the dark colour scheme on the rest of the piece making sure the face is the first thing that grabs your attention!

We’ve got some great news and that is the guys over at Project Squadt have a new release and it’s definitely a stunner! Here you’ll get two pieces Chipp & Boomer and a whole bunch of accessories, one of the best parts is boomers head which opens up to reveal two pipe bombs!! I’m really liking the desert camo colour scheme used on these guys.
