We were in the 3rd position on the 1st course.

We ran the course and both Bonus lines in a bit over 5 mins. We started the day with a -19. Great start to the day.

Then things went down hill from there.

Diego was giving it his all, but it was not going to happen. The Jeep went over pretty hard but other than some bumps and bruises D and I were ok. The Jeep on the other hand was not. We ripped a shackle hanger off, but with Jason’s welding skills we were back at the starting gate for the 3rd course in plenty of time.

It seems something happened to my radio in the the roll on the 2nd course, so we started course 3 without radios. We started with a short climb. I am not sure what I was thinking but going through gate 1 got a bit too high and the Jeep went over again. As you can tell D was trying to tell me to stop, but for some reason I had it in my head he wanted me to try and drive out of it. Remember both hand up means stop :)
