1. The Web Developer’s Toolbox for Firefox

The Web Developer’s Toolbox for Firefox is one of the tools every designer should have. There are many useful Firefox extensions but this one is a jewel because it combines so many functionalities a web designer and developer needs on a daily basis that after you install it you will wonder how you could have worked without it. It contains a bunch of useful extensions, which of course you can download separately if you want but why do it, when you can get the whole pack at once?

2. A Tool to Generate Palettes of Matching Colors With

Design is about colors and their masterful combination. Very often you will need to design a site, which uses different shades of the same color. In such cases a color palette generator tool is really helpful. There are many such tools but not all of them do a good job. If it were to produce tasteless combinations of colors, you can do it on your own, right?

9. A Tool to Create a Color Palette from an Image

Sometimes you have a cool photo you would like to use as a source of colors for a color palette. While you can pick colors one by one, this is hardly the most efficient way to do the job. One of the better ways to get a color palette from an image is to use a tool.

Pictaculous is one such tool. All you have to do is go to the site and upload your image. Then the tool will automatically generate a color palette from this image. Depending on the image you upload, the choices might not be what you imagined but you can hardly blame the tool for that.

Nokia E71- the blackberry killer. This was the tag E 71 got when it was launched. Several days ago Nokia has officially announced the Nokia E63. Is it a cheaper version of Nokia E 71? Does this reduction in price have lower functionality? Well they do look like same but have quite a lot difference.

Here are the Nokia E63 vs Nokia E71 Comparison:

· The E63 lacks internal GPS.

· The E63 appears to have a slightly smaller dimension screen although it is the same 320×240 pixels as the E71.

· The E63 has a colored plastic shell versus the E71’s metal one. The front is a metallic-finish, the back cover is a soft-touch finish – both attract far few fingerprints than the E71’s.

· The E63 is nearly identical in dimensions to the E71 except for the depth – the E63 is around 1.5 times the depth of the E71.

· The E63 has a 3.5mm jack on top versus the E71’s 2.5mm jack on the side. This appears to be the first E-series to have a standard headphone socket – something normally saved for N-series.

· The E63 has no side buttons for volume or voice recording. It’s also missing the E71’s IR window.

· The E63 has a revised keyboard layout, adding a ‘/’ button on the lower row, shortening the space bar.

· The E63 has a 2MP camera versus the E71’s 3.2MP and has a fixed focus.

· The E63 adds a flashlight function that allows the camera’s LED flash to be used as a torch.

· The E63 lacks the E71’s faux-leather slip case.

· The E63 has the same 110 meg internal memory, but is shipped without an additional memory card (although a slot to add one is present).
