It's not a good day.. in fact it's a very bad day and this applies to especially my darling and I'm affected as well. What have we done to deserve this? *sigh*

In the afternoon, I received a phone call from my darling telling me all his hard earn cash was stolen. I was devastated and heartache of course and I can understand if my darling felt worse. I never would expect this to happen.. anyhow it did.

Darling, if you happen to drop by, I just want to let you know I'm always here for you!

I'm supposed to be sleeping by now as I'll resume working tomorrow after 10days of MC. However, something freaking weird just happened and I must have this blog before I hit the sack.

What a month.....

Hello~~ I'm back but I'm not sure if I know how to write / post a post in my blog..

Anyways, there was and still is so many things I have to adapt to for the past few months and that's part of the reason for my hiatus. Sorry beloved blog for abandoning you... *pats*

I guess it's fair to start the blog again with something I feel like sharing the things happened ever since I go on hiatus.
1) Family reunited *finally*
2) Meets darling lesser
3) Change of work
4) Stress level
5) Health

Well, ever since my family members reunited, I've been meeting my darling much lesser except for weekends. Apart from that, we're both very busy with out jobs, him having to work on two jobs and I, adapting to my new job environment. However, I'm blessed with the care and love he has for me and I'm grateful for that.

There is definitely an impact to my life i changing my career path. It's still too early to determine if it's a good or bad impact but the obvious changes are higher stress level, more pressure, better income etc etc. I'm still adapting as what I'm doing now is completely new.

Then, recently I'm down with chicken pox - which cause me my sales target *sigh* (an excuse =P) and I have been having a toothache for weeks now as well as heartaches from not achieving what I want.. there's so many to think and yet so less time and ability.

Anyways, for a recap - this month, since 10th Aug 2010, the entering of GHOST festival (Chinese's 7th Month), the month I had chicken pox, the month I went Langkawi with my darling, the month with 2 public holidays and many more.

I'm currently jobless right now. Bf's busy, friends are busy, colleagues (ex) working at the moment. Today is a peaceful day but a boring one. Well, I know I should have rested but I don't feel like taking a nap. Weather's warm..

My new job is going to start in another 2 weeks time. It's a new challenge as it's not something I've done before but I will of course TRY MY VERY BEST to accomplish each task given to me. I hope it's a new beginning to a better life. At least it's what I want and I'll work for it.

Missing my bf now, wondering what he's doing...

All good things come to an end? I hope not..

Good morning world!

This year started not so well... or rather not as smoothly as I want to. Come to think about it, it's because I wanted to change my life, so much that I have to face all these.

First, I must learn to be patient. Then, determination and strong-willed must follow. I must learn to be strong as well, strong enough to accept rejection. I'm not used to accept rejection, probably I always get what I want. It's very hard to digest the feelings and it's very disheartening. However, this is what I'm determined to do and I will face it.

In my opinion, support is very important in times like this. I still feel I lack the support but probably I was just asking for too much.

Adaptation is essential for changes like this. I must learn to adapt to the environment. Life isn't like how it used to be so, I will learn to accept and follow the flow as many would mention that since I cannot change the changed, I might as well adapt to it.

Next week should be the week where I may know if I'm about to change my life.. Let's hope and pray for the best. Mom, I know you'll always guide me =)

Hectic Month

Hello once again. It's been a hectic month for me with lots of mind bugging matters.

First, my ROOM.. I need to get it cleared it up. It's a mess and when I say a mess, it is really a mess.

Second, my senior will be leaving the company and no one more senior than me left in the company. However, that isn't my main concern, I will be loosing another friend I know at work. I will have another less friend.

Third, this I cannot reveal as I won't know if it will affect me if others know about this. It's a challenge and something new to me. I hope it can work and I wish for a change of environment. =)

Fourth, Chinese New Year is coming and I haven't get my new attire, shoes, etc.

I'm easily tired recently and I think it's due to the challenge I have to face and yet to meet.

I have to thank a person dearly. If it wasn't for him, his guidance in my first step forward, I will still be my previous state. He's like a brother, helpful and willing to guide me through all the hassle. I will always remember his advises and particularly this "Do not react, respond". Simple but full of inspiration.

Of all things happen, I fall sick on New Year's Day! At first, throat was dry and then it started to itch till I have to cough as if I'm coughing my lungs out. Now, my nose is so irritated that I almost sneeze but fail each time which ended up with watery eyes.

However, later, dear and I will be watching Avatar which was highly recommended by friends and my bro. Till then..

A decade has past and I'm still alive. I didn't go to any parties, countdowns or outings. However, I was in the car while the fireworks was blasting and I manage to take a glimpse of it.

I have no more energy to go out and have fun as my work has already drained most or should I say ALL of it. Thinking about work tomorrow can really kill me as there are still so many unfinished work. What a new year to start with?! *lol*

As usual, I don't set any resolutions as I believe, if I want to start anything new, I won't wait till next year. Doing is always better than thinking only. But then, I will still hope this year will be a better year.

I'm now contemplating on whether I should go out or not.. Anyway, I better get myself prepared. Happy New Year everyone! May your new year be blessed and do look ahead to your new year coz' everything's gonna be alright!

A surprise outing

Well, well... today's outing wasn't a pre-planned outing. It was set when my dear Mel texted me to hang out and so we went, me, Dave and Mel.

As usual, we walked around, shopped around which I didn't get myself anything, funny coz I don't have the mood to buy anything. I guess I was too tired since I bowled earlier this afternoon. Bowling was fine but wasn't marvelous. Score sucks! Anyway, ignore the bad stuff coz I want to focus on the happy stuff today. =)

Mel got herself some accessories which was great. Hmm.. feeling regret not getting anything for myself. Nevermind, at least I get to save $$ (hope Mel won't read this).

Seeing Mel in her new haircut really made me more desperate for a new haircut too.. but I have to withstand the temptations as I will have have my hair cut next month since Chinese New Year is 2 months ahead. I don't just need a new hair cut but a hair FIX. Can't wait to see how my hair will turn out to be. Hopefully it will be ok, fingers crossed!

After dinner, Mel suddenly brought out her camera which I drained her battery totally just to camwhore. *giggles* Well, obviously I wasn't a good poser. I had Mel to guide me in which I still fail. I'm always stiff and only shows the same facial expression and pose. However, today I dared myself (though still fail). We laughed so much and I enjoyed the outing.

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!

First of all, a very MERRY CHRISTMAS greeting to everyone! Again, a long pause since my last entry. I have been lazy and busy at the same time. This year's Christmas wasn't as great as any others. Well, due to a few reasons.

A month or two ago, the company I'm working in abolished the OT claims and that was after a salary reduction. That left us or probably myself only unhappy. However, the positive side of this is I don't have to work myself to at least 11 - 10 hours a day which really tires me. The bad side, yeah as you all can guess, lower income. Since started working for OTs months ago, I got myself a stiff neck which still hurts whenever I bend my neck backwards. Not sure if it's due to work or posture or even my sleeping posture.

Then, due to year end, workload increased. We have to work more despite no claims but then the company decided to allow OT claims from the 23rd till month end. Not to mention the tiny claims. I still don't find the appreciation I deserve from this company. Since they allow claims, I couldn't get myself to punch out as usual. I don't want to see my colleagues to suffer due to manpower shortage. I was so tired that I was asleep during the countdown. What a sad Christmas year, no where to go, nothing to do..

A week ago, the company offered me a not too good position which I need to be based in another state. I have other things in mind that's why I never request for more.

Apart from work, my mouth is giving me trouble. It hurts whenever I open my mouth as the sides were cracked. It was windy recently and probably it's dry. Like the Chinese say, dry wind *lol*. It has always been like this every year end. Oh ya..have a I mentioned dry lips as well? It bleeds every now and then despite how many gallons of water I drank each day. However, it's slowly recovering.. since I have to open my mouth every now and then, speak, eat, drink and even to brush my teeth.

Seems like I start of this entry sadly. Enough of that I supposed. During the Christmas season, shopping malls are known to set up nice Christmas decorations and I've only managed to visit a few. However, I didn't take shots for all of them. Just a few.

After a (not so) long break..

I don't feel like working. *LOL*

However, coming to work this morning was as smooth as silk. I wish the traffic is like this morning for the rest of my life.

Something's bothering me and it is my weight problem. More and more people mentioned that I've gained weight, probably I am being over-sensitive but it bothers me a lil'. I guess I have to start watching what I put into my mouth. At least I will have to eat healthy! Start from today! I should start exercising again... NO MORE EXCUSES *determined*

Enough of the sad issue. I'm currently waiting for samples to come, it's a quiet morning but deep in me, I wish it'll be quiet throughout the day...week....months....years... Nah, nothing's perfect, nothing ends the way a person wants.

My dear plans to buy a mobile phone and I'm still contemplating whether or not to change my phone as well. I've been using mine since 2 Christmases ago. However, it's still working fine. Should I or Should I Not? I've been spending alot ever since I started working. *worries*

Enough for now. Back to reality a.k.a. WORK! Dreadful....

Although I'm always busy with work but there will always be time for food especially when it comes to trying out new stalls.

Actually what I tried out was new at that time but not anymore maybe. This is because I visited the restaurant months ago, labour day which wasn't that long ago anyway. *grins*

No, I had not had food at any island but Island Red Cafe. As usual, I prefer to post pictures rather than explaining.

Life for the past 2 months

It has been more than 2 months since my last post. There are reasons particularly my small surgery that I've undergone recently. Nothing serious, I'm just taking time to recover which means no bowling, no active lifestyle, no peanuts, no beef...yet(never ending list of PANTANGS).

As for my workplace, most of my colleagues have left the company and there is/are still other(s) yet to leave. Probably I should start planning soon. Working in such an environment isn't easy but nothing is ever easy again. Probably there isn't supposed to have personal time when one starts working. I miss outing with my family, my bf and my friends. I just hope a miracle can happen. =(

There are so many things I need/want right now. I'm confused.......

Weekend surprise... (Part II)

After Jonker Street that evening, we had "Satay Celup" (Peanut gravy dip). Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the food we ate as we were too hungry to remember *shy*. Anyway, it's like any other common "luk luk" we can get in other places except for the satay dip they provide us to cook our food instead of plain water/soup.

Next was the "Eye on Malaysia". Anybody who missed the opportunity to take a ride on this ferris wheel like me can always come to Melaka to redeem the chance to ride it.

Yes... Melaka. Somewhere not too far away and not too expensive to be in.

It was almost 6pm upon arrival as I had to work till almost 4pm that day. Timing was right when we reach as Jonker's street has just started to get crowded and most stalls were already opened. However, the weather wasn't on our side as it was so warm!

Can't wait for tomorrow to come..

Today, I managed to cook mee hoon (rice vermicelli) in chicken soup, simple but edible. Nothing much happened, the pungent as i mentioned at my previous post are getting worse otherwise it's a pleasant day. Oh ya.. forgot my purse though.

Work was fine today however, there was this annoying, nauseating and hard-to-bear kind of smell. It is a smell of a dead rat I think as mentioned by 1 of my colleagues. We went searching high and low for it, trying to get rid of the smell. Of course we failed and I have to stay with the smell the whole day. *lol* I got immune eventually and totally forgot about it till I went down to the restroom to come up smelling that pungent again.

I guess there are lots of rats/mice at my workplace. Since I'm working in a lab, there are tissues (fresh ones as well) and these rodents love them so much that they stole the blocks of cells/tissues to eat.

Today, my colleagues were asking me if I worried about getting WIDER..

Beef Noodles

What I'm going to post is something I've conveniently forgotten and the pictures I am about to post were kept in my folders for ages. It's a place where I went to have beef noodles. It's the "Famous Ngau Kee Noodles" along Jalan Alor (correct me if I'm wrong). As far as I'm concern, this stall opens at night and past midnight.

Actually, I find it hard to get good beef noodles especially here in KL which I believe due to religious reason. However, I only manage to try out this particular stall. The food here was ok but I still prefer Sabah's beef noodle.

I've abandoned my blog for more than a month now. There were some things that I need to worry about. However, nothing serious. I'll make this post as short as possible, after all, there were still a lot going on during my non-presence. =)

First things first (my high school motto), my dear got me or rather us a new camera. Nothing big just something fancy..you know what I mean =).

Then, we also managed to take time outs to try out new food.

Firstly, Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen - Chicken and Seafood at Taman Tun Dr. Ismail

Anyways, this set consist of fish strips and succulent prawns. The prawns were yummy.
Oh ya...not forgetting the "Biscuit" which I find it a bit too salty to my liking.

I don't like this dish though.

We also tried out one of our very own country's favourite, the nasi lemak. We spotted this Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa Kampung Baru at Taman Melati.

The food was so so.. I still prefer Nasi Lemak sold in stalls where its cheaper and tastier.

The next destination was Thai Express at The Curve. This wasn't actually my first visit however, I noticed they changed their menu - No more pineapple colada which me and my friend Mel had it during our visit. What a waste..

This is what I ordered, Green curry (chicken) served with plain rice.
I still prefer the older version of Thai Express. Somehow I think they changed their chef or management.

Last but not least, just last Sunday, we chose The Manhattan Fish Market (the Curve) mainly because of their current offer "1 Xtra Fish FREE". We had our stomaches filled in no time. This offer is valid for their Fish N Chips in either swordfish or Pacific dory. Dave and I both took 1 each and I still prefer the Pacific Dory as it's more tender and finer in texture.

My Fish n Chips or rather Fish n Garlic Rice simply because I prefer garlic rice.
