It's been so long since my last blog post. I have been mostly posting on Instagram, so if you are following me you may have seen my style, my favorite skin care products, brands, from swim wear to casual wear. I'd like to share you guys what i have been loving at the moment. First, skin care... Florida summer can be really intense and i like to switch my skin care routine to even protect my skin from sun damage. Here's my current favorites:

1. Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

This cleanser is amazing! It has a very light scent, keeps my face soft, and doesn't dry my skin. I like to switch my face cleanser depending on my skin condition but have been using this one almost exclusively since January. As long as i don't have an issue like acne or dryness... i stick with this cleanser!

2. Fresh Rose Floral Toner

I love using this in the morning after cleansing. It feels so cool and refreshing once i spray it on my skin. I let it dry first and then apply my moisturizer.

3. Fresh Youth Preserve Moisturizer

This is a cream formula that feels very light on my skin. I love the feel of it even before applying my makeup.

4. Fresh Seaberry Skin Nutrition Cleansing Oil

This is my absolute favorite for removing waterproof eye makeup. It even removes waterproof mascara yet is very gentle on my skin. I love the light, clean, fresh scent of this oil as well. I highly recommend trying it if you are looking for a cleansing oil.

5. Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Night Cream

This is my night time moisturizer. Just like the Preserve Moisturizer (i use for daytime), it feels very light on my skin. I love how it makes my face feel really soft and not at all oily when I wake up in the morning.

6. Fresh Preserve Rescue Mask

I use this mask once a week or whenever i need an extra deep cleansing. It is made up of tiny little beads that i gently rub in a circular motion all overy my face. The beeds are not very rough and feel wonderful on my skin. I use them at night with Preserve night cream. They have been part of my nightly cleansing ritual for several months.

7. REN Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic

I use this product occasionally when i have dry spots on my face. It keeps my face moisturized and smooths my skin quickly. This product doesn't leave me with a sticky or oily sensation. Rather, it makes my skin feel firm, soft, and smooth! Ultimately the product makes my face look shiny and glowy, yet healthy!

8. Estee Lauder Advance Night Repair

An absolute favorite night serum. Whenever i feel i need extra skin care after traveling or using makeup, i apply this product after i cleanse my face. I then follow it up with Fresh Night Cream.

9. AHC Aqualuronic Serum (Daytime)

I purchased this one while i was in Manila Philippines. One can also purchase it at some Target stores. I had heard so many good things about this product that i had to give it a try! I LOVE this serum! It has a very light fresh scent and makes my face look glowy and soft. I apply it along with my favorite daytime "Fresh Moisturizer". I strongly recommend trying this one as well! Hopefully your Target store carries it!

10. REN Renewal Body Serum

This Body Serum is AMAZING for my dry legs and arms. I have serious dryness especially on my legs but this stuff works really well (i use it with REN Magnesium Salt Anti-Fatigue Exfoliating Body Scrub, not pictured) I use both approximately every 2 weeks. There are instances when I use them even more like when I need to get rid of hair on my legs (i use an epilator).

Iceland Trip

Have you ever felt like you are on a different planet and having the most wonderful adventure? I had this feeling the entire time my husband and I were on our recent trip to Iceland! It is was one of my favorite places! We saw a crazy amount of out of this world spectacular landscapes including amazing waterfalls, black sandy beaches, crystal ice caves, mountains covered in snow, and hot springs peeking out of glaciers! It was an out of this world experience! In this blog i will share the sights of our amazing adventure in Iceland!

DAY 1
02.22.2020 | Saturday
ARRIVAL

Our adventure starts from sunny warm Florida to Reykjavik (Keflavik Airport) in Iceland. We arrived the following day, 02.22 at 6:05 in the morning on Saturday. We rented an SUV and soon entered a snowy winter wonderland! From Keflavik airport we drove to the Blue Lagoon hot spring for an 8:00am reservation. We spent a couple hours relaxing and exploring the lagoon. The excursion included theraputic face masks and refreshments while we relaxed in the hot spring! We followed that with lunch at The Lava Restaurant that overlooks the Lagoon. Both of us had a traditional Icelandic fish entre that was delicious! It was really cool to watch the snow fall in the lagoon as we ate our lunch! We got back into our SUV and began our 45 minute drive to Reykjavik. My husband drove and had to stick his head out the window to stay awake after more than 24 hours with no sleep. We arrived in Reykjavik and checked in to the Reykjavik Residence Hotel. After a short siesta we did a little exploring around our hotel and ate at a local Scandinavian restaurant. Later we met up with some friends and went out for a northern lights sightseeing tour. From everything I've researched it looks like seeing northern lights is an experience of a lifetime. However, if the likelihood of seeing the lights is less than 3 (on a scale of 1-9) and the concierge does not look real enthusiastic about your chances of seeing the lights DO NOT waste your time and money! You will just end up riding an hour and a half on a tour bus to get cold, tired, and bored!

Place to stay:
Reykjavik Residence Hotel is 45 minutes away from Keflavik airport. We stayed here for a couple nights. The room was nice, cozy and clean and the nespresso coffee machine was pretty nice and the coffee was really good. The bathroom sink is very tiny but the bed and the dining area was pretty good size. Beware that there are several Reyjavik Residence Hotel units and it took us a few minutes to find the one to check in. They also do not have there own parking but we were able to park right across the street from our unit. There is also a paid parking lot not far from the hotel. We had to pay to park on the street but it was not very expensive and there are parking machines that take US credit cards close by.
Place to eat:
Scandinavian Restaurant and Smørrebrød. Our first evening, we had a delicious authentic Scandinavian meal.

DAY 2
02.23.2020 | Sunday
Tour of The Golden Circle (Self-Drive)

First Stop: Thingvellir National Park

It snowed heavily and was quite windy most of the day. It felt like I was in a gigantic snow globe. We had several days like that and after living in the Philippines and Florida it was a super cool experience for me!! We parked at the Visitor's center and immediately went hiking around the park. In addition to some spectacular views of the nearby snow covered mountains, rivers, and an ice covered waterfall, we were able to see some of the first parliament buildings. My husband also went on a snorkeling tour of the fissure that separates the European and North American techtonic plates. I was more than happy to just walk along the fissure!

2nd Stop, Geysir

About an hour down the road we parked at Geysir. This is a geothermal park kind of like Yellowstone with several geysirs and hot springs. The main attraction here was a geysir called Stokar that spewed water and steam every few minutes. We were able to get some of the Stokar eruptions on video that was super cool!!

3rd Stop, Gulfoss (golden waterfall):

Another half hour down the golden circle road we came up to one of the highlights of our trip. It is a multi level natural waterfall that has more energy and water volume than Niagra Falls. My husband insists that it is more spectacular than Niagra Falls! It was slated to be modified for hydroelectric power but fortunately has been left untouched. In spite of the blowing snow (that made it look even cooler) we were able to walk close to the top and bottom of the Falls and get some great pictures and photos of it!

DAY 3
02.24.2020 | Monday

Early morning from Reykjavik, we drove to Vik for about 2.5 hr with several places to see, it was a real fun drive before we reach the meeting place for the Katla Ice Cave which is booked at 1:45pm. On our way to Vik, here's the list of places we stopped;

1st stop; Skogafoss Waterfall & Seljalandsfoss Falls
Skogafoss is a 2 hr drive from Rekyjavik. Lots of beautiful sceneries to see on our way to these falls.

2nd stop; Gljúfrafoss or Gljúfrabúi
Gljufrafoss is a small waterfall north of the larger falls of Seljalandsfoss in Iceland. This hidden waterfall, is a few minute walk from Skogafoss Waterfall. It was windy and snowy the day we went but it didn't stopped us from going on the top of the rock close to the waterfall. We defintely got wet going in this spot but all worth it to hear and feel the waterfall. You definitely don't want to miss this one if you're stopping at Skogafoss.

3rd Stop; Ice Cave Tour

From Skogafoss, we drove to our Katla Ice Cave Tour meeting place in Vik (Icewear Magasin). Here, we meet up with our Tour Guide and our group. We booked our tour ahead of time from Arctic Adventures online and it cost $138/person for a 3 hour tour.

4th stop; Reynisfjara Beach

2nd week of November, my husband and I went to a conference in Texas, we stayed at the Gaylord Hotel and they were just starting to decorate the entire hotel for Christmas. A week before the conference we also went to the beach for a short getaway to enjoy the last warm weather at the beach.

Happy Monday beauties! My weekend went by so quick.... i came home sick on a Friday, went to bed at 7pm, slept in till 9 on Saturday; ate breakfast and went back to sleep till 3pm! That was a lot of sleep. I didn't want to waste my whole weekend sick in bed so i did my best to feel better. I got up, did some yoga, and took a nice long shower. My husband and i went out to eat and looked at some furniture in the evening.

Happy Sunday! It's a dreary rainy day and i'm sitting in my cozy sun room. A perfect day for sharing information about my favorite eyeshadow palette. Lately, I've been using Marc Jacobs Eye-Conic Glambition palette - it's great for a day and night look. Glambiation blends really well when I apply it with my sigma eye shadow brushes. I love that it's wearable during the day and transforms into a sultry night look.

Happy first day of October!!!!! I'd like to share some of my September favorites! Let's talk about skin care and make-up. I received Lancer Skin Care products from Influenster complimentray to try and review. After 14+ days of use I noticed some subtle skin improvement. However, when I combined Lancer Skin Care products with Caudalíe Beauty Elixir for 3 weeks I noticed significant skin improvements. Together they helped make my acne spots disappear faster and made my face feel soft and very clean every morning! Even though the Lancer cleanser didn't remove my waterproof mascara i still love the way the it makes my skin soft and smooth.

A make-up company i've been loving is EMcosmetics Infinite Lip Cloud! They have been my go to lippies everyday because unlike other matte lipsticks they don't dry out my lips. When i wear matte lipsticks i use lip scrub to keep my lips from getting dry. My favorites are Tarte Lip Facial and Bite Beauty Fruit Scrub in whipped cherry.

And another make-up company that i've been obsessing over is Rihanna's Fenty Beauty. I picked up a few online and at my local Sephora outlet. My current favorite lip gloss is Gloss Bomb. Since it was launched mid or late September, Fenty's section at Sephora has been packed with beauties trying to get their hands on their products! Fenty has 40 Soft matte Longwear Foundation shades! I ordered their Match Stix Trio online and received a sample of the Foundation in shade 340! Luckily it matched my skin tone and i've been using it for a week. What i love about the Foundation is that it is light on my skin. I got Match Stix in Tan color that includes Rum, Caramel, and Truffle. I went to Sephora last week and picked up the Killawatt Freestyle highlighter in Mean Money/Hu$tla Baby - soft champagne sheen / supercharged peachy champagne shimmer.

I break out every now and then and my all time favorite to get rid of acne fast is The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Cleanser. I purchased a travel size because i don't use it everyday because it dries my face a lil bit but to prevent my face from getting dry, i apply Kopari Face oil. I have been using The Body Shop Tea Tree kit for 2 years now and it heals my acne fast.

Kopari Coconut melt is another summer must-have! It's perfect to use as shaving cream. It's also great after spending the day at the beach, i apply coconut melt all over my body and wake up with baby smooth skin.

Happy Weekend Beauties! I've been sick the past few days and got plenty of rest. Right now i am feeling a lot better, just sore from too much sleep. Travel Diary | TURKS AND CAICOS

Happy Independence Day America!

DAY 1 | ARRIVAL

John & I came back from our anniversary trip in Turks & Caicos on Saturday evening. We spent 5 days at the Seven Stars Resort & Spa. The island is AMAZING the resort is one of my favorites! We arrived on Tuesday June 27th in the afternoon and were able to check into our hotel room early! Our welcome included a cool face towel and a delicious refreshing adult drink! Upon arrival one of the staff showed us quickly around the resort and walked us to our room.

As soon as we got to our room we changed into our swimsuits and walked to the beach. We were both tired because we got up at 3am for an early flight.

First meal by the pool; burger and fries! We were both kinda hungry but i am more tired than hungry so i took a couple bites and took a short power nap by the pool. The service was great and the food was good as well!

DAY 2 | SNORKELING & HALF MOON BAY TOUR (Half Day)

Day 2, our Anniversary day (June 28th). After an early breakfast we headed out on our half-day excursion. It was about a 4 hour trip that included a 15 minute trip to a snorkeling adventure and a stop at Half-Moon Bay island where we saw several Iguanas. We had fresh conch salad, drinks, and sandwiches on the boat after about an hour and a half of snorkeling. Following a 15 minute boat ride we landed on Half Moon Bay Island and spent about an hour taking pictures and videos of iguanas. Before getting back on the boat we cooled off in the water. The boat ride back to our resort took about 20 minutes. We cooled off some more in the ocean, rested a lil bit, then had a lovely dinner by the beach!

DAY 3 | POOL DAY & PADDLE BOARDING

Day 3, Breakfast buffet at 7am. A lovely kind gesture at breakfast: a staff member wished us a happy anniversary by writing it in a plate of fresh fruit. Most of the day we explored the resort. We relaxed on the beach and spent a lot of time in the water trying to cool off! I finally got over some of my fear of the water and learned how to float! Paddle boarding was a lil bit tough to learn initially because I had to paddle against a strong wind that kept pushing me toward a pier. We also did some Kayaking before sunset. Before and after dinner we walked the beach, watched the gorgeous sunset, and just enjoyed another relaxing and lovely day in Turks & Caicos.

DAY 4 | PARASAILING

Day 4; Parasailing! This was our second Parasailing adventure. We did it a few years ago in Destin Florida. After a 9am pick up and a short boat ride we were up in the air! I was still kinda nervous about being so high in the sky but it went very smoothly and i really enjoyed it!

We did some paddle boarding after and spent most of the day by the beach. Following a long sunset walk on the beach we headed back to our room to get ready for dinner!

DAY 5 | DEPARTURE

Day 5; Flight to Atlanta at 5:20pm. So we still have at least half day to enjoy! I gazed out at the ocean from our balcony for a lil while then we went for breakfast and one more short paddle board trip. John went for a run and another swim in the ocean and pool. I hung out by the pool and had a nice relaxing quiet morning. We were shuttled to the airport by taxi at 2:30pm. I met several fellow Filipinos working at the airport. The flight to Atlanta was on time and very smooth but our connecting flight home was delayed due to thunderstorms. We arrived home at 12:30am!

Hi there beauties! I finally got the chance to post this look i have been obsessing about lately! It has been very hot here in the Florida Panhandle! Lately I have been wearing shorts, crop tops, and off-shoulder and ruffle tops! Off-shoulder and ruffle tops make the whole outfit look feminine and chic! You can wear them with shorts, skinny jeans, and skirts! Ruffles and off-shoulder tops are very easy to style and can be worn from day time to date night!

Instagram is my favorite! It enables me to follow my favorite brands posted by individuals whose style is similar to mine. I love exploring photography and Instagram has tons of great shots... from basic smart phone pics to professional high tech camera photography. I also follow a variety of my favorite fashion brands including beauty/skin care products, designer shoes and bags, and just about anything pretty! My favorite Instagram activity is browsing HIGH QUALITY PHOTOS. I enjoy learning how individuals present their products using photos posted on social media.

Facebook, i don’t usually look at Facebook.. i find myself scrolling through a bunch of funny videos that i find fun when i’m bored =D.

Twitter, I am not sure why i have a Twitter account. Is it only for celebrities and politics? I have all my social media platforms linked so when i post a picture on my Instagram it automatically posts to my Twitter, Facebook Fan Page, personal Facebook and Pinterest.

Now for the FUN PART!

I am going to tell you how i link all my social media platforms with just one tap!

I basically use Instagram. In the Instagram settings you can link your Instagram to your Facebook Personal Page or Fan page (whichever photos you want to show). I have my Instagram linked to my Fan page.

I use IFTTT.com

What is IFTTT?

IFTTT stands for "IF THIS THEN THAT". It has several applets. Applets help you explore the universe! You can connect to your home, streamline your social media, and much more!

To link my Instagram to Twitter, my applets are:

“Post your Instagram pics on Twitter as a picture (not a link)”

Then under Twitter settings it’s linked to my personal Facebook page.

I just recently added Pinterest as platform to post all my Instagram pictures using IFTTT.com

Here’s my applet:

“Sync your new Instagram to a Pinterest board”

You can also use IFTTT.com to link your Instagram to Facebook Personal Page: the applet will be:

"Automatically share your Instagram to Facebook"

So when i post picture on my Instagram it will automatically post to my Facebook Fan Page, then to Twitter, then Facebook Personal Page, and Pinterest in just one tap. I don’t have to go to each one of my app/social media to upload one similar photo.

I have been using Kopari Beauty for about a year now! My favorite Coconut Melt keeps my skin soft and helps with dry spots on my legs and it makes my skin very smooth and shiny and glowy! All their products are amazing! They're now available at Sephora! You can try them or ask for a sample and you will definitely love it!

If you're following me on Instagram, i posted about Em Cosmetics Infinite Lip Cloud. I purchased 2 shades (Rose Nude and Muted Mauve) from their Early Access online at emcosmetics.com. I am really loving both shades! They're non-drying and really easy to apply. For me, before applying matte lipstick, it is very necessary to hydrate and moisturize your lips. I use Bite or Tarte lip scrub or Kopari Lip Love as primer before i apply matte lipstick.
After purchasing 2 shades, i decided to get "French Nude".

... and so after i purchased 3 from the Early Access release, i decided to get ALL the shades! The one that i've been eye-ing is "Fade Clementine" it's a beautiful bright orange but not very orange, wearable color! (picture below)
Other shades purchased: Spanish Earth, Crimson Red and Violet Magenta

I also purchased Em Cosmetics Illustrative Eyeliner both Felt and Brush Tip. When using this eyeliner, make sure to wear eyeshadow primer so that it will not crease. I tried wearing the eyeliner without eyeshadow primer and it crease for about an hour.

With all these looks, i used Kopari Coconut Face The Day & night and Coconut Sheer Oil. I have been using the set for almost a month and it makes my skin soft and it's slowly getting rid of the dry spots on my cheeks.

Happy Sunday! We are getting some wind and chilly weather in the PanHandle! After a quick stroll around town we found a cute store in college town - Urban Outfitters! Later we stopped at Township Bar for a bowl of chili and beer and coffee. A perfect ending to a cold and breezy afternoon! This Vera Wang Faux Fur Coat keeps me warm. I matched it with leggings (with warm fleece underneath) and my favorite toque to complete the look!

Travel Diary | Bimini, Bahamas

Happy Wednesday!! Im back! We arrived in the Bahamas last Friday. A 20 minute flight from Miami, 5 minute van ride to a shuttle boat, and a 15-20 minute boat ride to Resorts World Bimini. It was cloudy when we arrived and the flight was a bit bumpy. The whole weekend was really windy and cloudy. On Saturday we stayed pretty much in the room (much needed rest and sleep). We strolled around the hotel and went to the fitness room and spa as well. The sun was out at times on Sunday and the wind calmed down a little bit. We were able to enjoy the beach, see Alice Town, and check out this shipwreck close to the shore.

It's been about a month since we got back from our amazing trip to Fiji! We had a great time zip-lining, visiting remote villages, and just plain relaxing at the beach! The people of Fiji were very welcoming and very friendly! I met a woman working at the hotel we stayed who loves Filipino drama/comedy series. Philippine TV shows are very popular in Fiji.

Our group partnered with Project H.E.A.V.E.N. to bring much-needed hearing care and hearing solutions to under-served children in Fiji. My husband John volunteered for a day at one of the schools in a Fijian village. He helped conduct screenings and fit hearing aids provided by the Oticon Hearing Foundation.

Happy Sunday!! So happy to be home! My husband and I spent a wonderful 5 days in Sydney. I love the people of Sydney and the weather was fantastic the whole time we were there. We were able to meet up with my brother-in-law from the Philippines who happened to be there the day we arrived on Sunday, Oct 16th. In spite of a ridiculously long nearly 24 hour plane trip we had an amazing time on our first day. After a very welcome shower and coffee stop we toured around Sydney's Circular Quay - home to the famous Sydney Opera house and Domain Park.

Saturday Morning

My husband prepared a delicious breakfast Saturday morning. A lot of people didn't have power for several days. I didn't have a good night sleep on that stormy night. The strong wind and noise from things falling on the roof kept waking me up. I was also worried that the huge tree in our backyard would fall on our house. The sun came out around noon on Saturday.
