Onswipe is a new app that attempts to do away with content based apps (ironic, I know) but rather than all publishers building their own app for content delivery Onswipe attempts to create an app that publishers can just point their CMS to.

Cloud computing (...and no, not the boring techy stuff)

Many a soul has heard me say that the future of digital is the cloud. You sharp eyed ones would have noticed I said digital, and not computing (talking about the future of computing being the cloud is far from new).

This video of the new Google Chromebook is a very nice way of showing how the cloud becomes real to consumers’ needs/uses rather than the current purview of technology geeks...and the future of digital, as I position my views, is how the cloud is going to affect consumer’s digital behaviour and how that behaviour will translate to future digital brand connections.

So, a question to keep in mind for brands going forward: are we designing our digital brand engagements with the future cloud in mind?

Scrolling ^sc

I've been loving some of the nice executions involving scrolling windows of late. And by "of late" I mean in the last 48 hours. The final one has even given me cause to question my hatred of horizontal scroll bars.
