Fashion as it happens, reported direct from the team in Vogue House. <p>So, it's that time of year again when all us designers are releasing our resort images and you guys are realising what the hell we have been doing for the last three months! It's not just shows we have to make collections for - pre collections are just another thing you demanding customers call for!</p><p>This collection is called Baby Love after The Supremes track and is inspired by Sixties girl bands and their incredible stage costumes with a heavy dose of the Jackson Five &nbsp;and a dollop of glam rock.</p><p>I shot the look book in NYC last week with the amazing Sebastian Faena and models Melody Monrose and Senait Gidey. Heathermary Jackson was on styling duty with Adrian Clarke and Kabuki on hair and make-up respectively. The weather was HOT HOT HOT and we were staying in the hotel where they filmed <em>Sex and The City 2</em> no less.</p><p>40 Degrees, more camels than you can shake a snake at, and some very aggressive rubbing (in a VERY above board Hammam kind of way). But with fashion week not only comes a lot of work - well, not in the House of Holland studio anyway. What also comes along at this time is a lot of ribbing at my expense.</p><p>Every season when I walk onto the catwalk to take my "bow" I somehow manage to look like a complete fool and this is now an in-joke among my fellow workmates, PR team and even some buyers and press.</p><p>So just as I am dealing with all the usual anxiety associated with the season's collections ("What will they think?" "Is it good enough?" "Do I love it?" - the usual questions), I am also internally panicking over the question, "what the hell will I look like when I come out at the end??".</p><p>Before you say it, I am fully aware that this makes me sound like a vain fool, however see below and above for the extent of the stupidity that seems to be captured on camera. Every. Single. Season! We had a big party in the store to launch our pre-collection hitting down and I managed to perk up!</p><p>We have vending machines for all of our accessories at the space including underwear, hosiery, tees and iPhone cases!</p><p>The collection looks great in the store and the team at LAB have made our "Pom Pom" people into these amazing lights!</p><p>I was doing interviews for most of the day with the press, but I did get a chance to try out the photobooth for the event before anyone else did.</p><p>All of our eyewear is in its fancy new case - excited face!</p><p>Now I'm still here in HK and exhausted. Even writing about my trip has taken it out of me! I'm back home this week to regain my stamina! It has a more Eurpoean feel to it than the other Chinese cities I have visited and feels a bit down and dirty and grubby - kind of like parts of London. Plus you can walk along the streets rather than in Beijing where each street is a five-lane motorway!</p><p>This is the area where most of the manufacturing industry is based in China and so there are markets selling everything you could think of for next to nothing!</p><p>The fabric market was my favourite place here:</p><p>Pelts and pelts of fur in all sorts of colours!</p><p>After the fabric market we visited 'Accessories City' - that's right, a whole CITY. It was here that I learnt two things:</p><p>1.&nbsp;The scrunchy is alive and residing in Guangzhou</p><p>2. A mammoth trip where I was invited by The British Council to give a series of talks at universities, stores and galleries. First stop though was Beijing.</p><p>The city is enormous, with over 20 million people living there (more than three times that of London!). There is so much ancient culture here and the most impressive had to be The Forbidden City that was built by the emperor during The Ming Dynasty from 1406 - 1420 and it's still there today!</p><p>Being the terrible tourist that I am, I arrived too late to go inside but if you climb the hill opposite - which is made up of all the earth that was removed to build the city - then you can get an awesome view and really get an idea of the scale of the place - all 9999 rooms of it!</p><p>Getting around in Beijing is a bit of a nightmare with traffic, but they have come up with some great solutions!</p><p>There were some serious street style looks going on. Here's a personal favourite that needed documenting!</p><p>I became a little obsessed with the names of things there like restuarants and shops - here's a personal favourite:</p><p>We went to see an acrobatics show which gave me some serious human pyramid envy:</p><p>The street food they sell in Beijing too is definitely an acquired taste and makes a bush tucker trial look like a McDonalds! Starfish sashimi anyone? No, didn't think so.</p><p>It wasn't all weird food and human pyramids though. It was my first attempt and I managed to stand up on my first wave! As you can see I wasn't exactly steady on my feet but hey, I was standing!</p><p><em>There isn't much in it between this shot and Gisele in the Givenchy campaign. Not only did I have to deal with my mother's nerves and neurosis of having to cater for 80 guests, but I also designed the dress!</p><p>When Laura asked me to design her dress I knew pretty much straight away what I wanted to do, and it involved some Bucks Fizz, style trickery, and a cheeky polka dot.&nbsp;"Polka dot wedding dress, are you MAD?!" I hear you ask, but we had some ivory on white spotty silk woven with our mill in Italy, and created something I'm massively proud of - and I think she looked bloody gorgeous.</p><p>The dress came with three different incarnations for the three segments of the wedding - the service, the meal, and the party.</p><p>The sketches were done over lots of wine and what was one dress quickly became three to match the number of bottles of wine! At the fitting, the shapes were brought to life in some lovely scratchy Calico - and the finished result? Tonight is the night that my TV show that I have been working on with Rihanna and Nicola Roberts airs.</p><p>The show is a search for a new, undiscovered design talent who is set the challenge to design an outfit for a different superstar each week. No, no, not me, but people more like Cheryl Cole, Katy Perry, and of course The Boss Riri!</p><p>The whole experience was really rewarding and exciting, and I can't wait for everyone else to see it tonight! I'm obviously finding the whole thing HILARIOUS!</p><p>While we were in Oz we also got a look at our full House of Holland Eyewear collection all together for the first time in its fancy cabinet! I am so excited by the range and can't wait to show you all properly very soon!</p><p>I also got a chance to get hold of my favourite thing about Australia...</p><p>And took a couple of dodgy photos in inappropriate places...</p><p>After a few days in Sydney we travelled down to Melbourne which was FREEZING but had some amazing food and pretty good cocktails. It was an amazing event and we managed to raise more than £1 million pounds for an amazing cause. It's amazing to be a part of such a great campaign and so when we were asked to give Pudsey a House of Holland makeover we didn't have to think about it for very long!</p><p>I went along with fellow Pudsey designers Katie Hillier and Patrick Grant, aka 'Mum and Dad'.</p><p><br> <em>Me and the HOH Pudsey that raised almost £1,000 for the campaign!</em></p><p><br> <em>Quick snap in the taxi. 10 Downing St please driver!
