Well you know how cute pets are. Little puppies, kitties, bunnies etc. So i desided to go with cartoon style images for site header and rich colors. Oh and visit website at night time, you should notice something is diffrent.

This is free of charge project so it has no IE support! Yeah! So if you are still using IE, please upgrade. Remember – “Browser isn’t a car. Getting the new one is easy, fast and cheap”.

The Olympic Games are a major international event of summer and winter sports, in which thousands of athletes compete in a wide variety of events. The Games are currently held every two years, with Summer and Winter Olympic Games alternating. Originally, the ancient Olympic Games were held in Olympia, Greece, from the 8th century BC to the 5th century AD. In the late 19th century, Baron Pierre de Coubertin was inspired by Olympic festivals to revive the Games. For this purpose, he founded the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 1894, and two years later, the modern Olympic Games were established in Athens. The IOC has since become the governing body of the Olympic Movement, whose structure and actions are defined by the Olympic Charter.

Hm… here goes the last, but not the least web design I have made before leaving to UK. The fun part is that this project is about my home city Kaunas. Maybe it’s coincidence I had to make it before leaving.

The project is very interesting because every visitor can publish his/her opinion (no mater if it’s good or bad) about this city, upload photos or videos using popular social networks. Despite that you can get a free present just because you had something to say about this great city.
