I just wanted to let people know that I'm planning on moving over to vBulletin very soon. I wanted to open this thread both as a way of letting you know that if the site is down, the upgrade may be in progress, but also allow you to voice your opinions on the matter. VB has a lot of features that should help VA thrive in the months and years to come, and has been a plan in the back of my mind for a long time. Everything from your user name to your post count SHOULD be transferred over, and hopefully the emails for activation, and password recovery will become far more reliable, and there will be a ton of new features for you to explore. Also the admins will have new tools to taunt and torture you if you happen to step out of line, so watch out... Grim's ban hammer just grew to monumental proportions.

The upgrade could happen as early as tonight (Tuesday February 14th), but more than likely it will come around this weekend or the next unless someone gives me a really good reason to keep things the way they are.

Hey guys, im sure you noticed i just made an account but i do appreciate what these people are doing here and i dont mean to spam on forums or anything like that.

So recently i have started my youtube channel and i would really like to keep doing this hobby for a while. Im currently in high school so i try to record 2 video segments each night for one upload per night.

Kingdoms of Amalur is my first playthrough/LP and i would really love if you guys watched one of my videos and gave me any type of criticism(with reason why you think that )

Hello everyone my name is Preson101 and I am a part of a three man group called TrueFriendsGaming we (Blacksora325 and Jku390 my equals) do Let's Plays on many different types of games from Fire Emblem to Final Fantasy To Tales of Vesperia, Pokemon even Group Lp’s on games like Left for Dead 2 and Borderlands.
We are a work in progress and we have been building up the channel for half a year and we have worked hard to increase our audio as well as video quality.
We all work on our individual projects as well as group projects that bring all of our abilities to together to make a work of art.

LLP - Warhammer 40k Deathwatch Tabletop RPG

"Look alive soldiers!" Says your Commisar as he draws his power sword and points it off into the distance, on the horizon an Ork force closes in on your squad's position. You look at your lasgun's blade driping with Ork blood fresh from a kill, and reload the half depelted energy clip. As you raise your head over the rock fortifications you see one of the biggest Orks you have ever seen, a warboss, and his eyes meet yours. "WAAAGH." He roars as his boyz start firing their shootas on your squad. You return fire, and thankfully your training has paid off as you kill ork after ork, but there are too many, and you know it. As your brothers next to your die in a hail of bullets you see something falling from the sky, and not just something, but four drop pods! The pods hurl toward the battlefield at amazing speeds engulfed in fire as they descend, and with a loud crash land between you and the hordes of Orks. As the dust subsides hatchs open up on each one and stepping out from them are men more then twice your size, clad in black armor, and armed to the teeth. You have heard storys of these men these "Space Marines" that they are the angels of death, the sons of the Emperor, and the saviors of mankind. "Praise the Emperor!" someone yells as the remaining soldiers in your unit sprint up to the crashed drop pods and take cover behind them. As you dive into cover along with them you realise that you have come face to face with one of them. He turns to you and says "On this day your faith is well placed soldier for the Emperor's chosen are here, and through our faith WE SHALL KNOW NO FEAR!!!!

If you are still here after reading that or have skiped it then allow me to introduce myself. I as my name suggests am Hosen....or Mastahosen if you prefer, and I am somewhat of an "LPer" as some others have called themselves. I have been for the past month or so playing a tabletop RPG with my friends known as Deathwatch. A game in which you as a player clad yourself in some of the best armor known to man in the year 40,000 and arm yourself with some of the best weapons, and with them, destroy anything and everything that looks at you funny, but srsly, you do.

If any of this sounds like something you would enjoy watching, and MAYBE...(Key word maybe) would want to join in and play then I shall point you to my youtube channel wait where is it? oh here it is.

YES this is a board game

YES things take a while to happen in this game

YES you can easily view what is going on thanks to RPtools

YES some of us are new to the 40k universe and will mess up on lore at times as we learn it better (you are always free to help correct us through comments or yelling really loud at your screen, hey it works, sometimes)

YES we do use a bit of house rules and are at the moment still changing them quite a bit to suit the needs of our players

NO you do not need to know the rules of this game to have fun with the story, though I do have 2 videos up that do go over a lot of the basics feel free to watch them if you wish.

I've decided to try my hand at this groovy game. Earthworm Jim is a side-scrolling "run and gun" platformer that sports some very nice animation (the only modern example I can think of to compare it with is Wario Land Shake It) and gags that will make anyone crack a smile. Though these two games are relatively short for their time, their moderate difficulty makes up for it. I hope you enjoy this little LP, and as always, your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Let's Play Dark Souls

I really need to get back into coming to this site...
Anyways, I started a Let's Play of Dark Souls on PS3 a few days ago. The game is known for it's high difficulty. This is -not- a blind Let's Play though. I don't think it would make a good blind Let's Play because of the amount of deaths and general lack of knowledge with the game anyways. I do a bit of editing when it comes to areas I die a bunch or a boss I might die on. Also, if you're looking for a Let's Play where the person gets angry this won't be it, sorry.
