vpod.tv co-founders Rodrigo SEPÚLVEDA (CEO) & Ivan COMMUNOD (COO) attended an invite-only gathering for "top tech entrepreneurs" of the internet industry at Martin Varsavsky's farm in Menorca (Baleares, Spain), 18-22 June 2009.

It was the 3rd time the Menorca TechTalk event has taken place, and it offered a great update on latest trends in Latin America and around the world in our industry. Pictures and videos of the event are being uploaded these days to the different social networks and UGC sites (Flickr, Picasa, Facebook, etc.).

Update:

An attendee of the event filmed the presentation. There was a technical glitch when vpod.tv was about to present customer use cases, but all was solved later, at about 00:23:00.

The site features a strong multimedia section, with a new webTV at http://www.gdfsuez.tv.

Versions for the iPhone (http://iphone.gdfsuez.com) and mobile phones (http://wap.gdfsuez.com) were also launched. Internal deployment of an intranet webTV for the 200,000 employees is also under way.
vpod.tv was selected by GDF Suez as the technology partner to power these multi-screen webTVs for the ease of use and powerful backoffice, in addition for its support of multi-screen formats. All the front-end interfaces were built by agency TequilaRapido on top of vpod.tv's powerful APIs.

All video archives of this show are now online, with new content uploaded regularly. It's a very nice example of a full API integration between vpod.tv's platform and backoffice, and our customer's pre-existing CMS for the site management.
