The Vaughan Risher Blog has been in the gestation phase for far too long, and I’m using the new year as a driving force to help me launch it.

Yes, it’s light on content now, but I’ll keep updating it.

If you’ve known me for at least a year, you’ll recall that every December I make a compilation of music to send out to my friends and family. It helps me keep the important people in my life up to date on my taste in music… and provides some much needed holiday entertainment (hopefully).

This year, I’m stepping up to the plate. Check the whole thing out here… Even if you didn’t get a cd, you can still partake in the bounty from my year’s worth of music music treasure hunting.

I don’t claim to make a compilation which everyone will groove to, but I make an effort to keep it accessible from a music appreciation standpoint no matter who you are.

Have I succeeded?

In this compilation, you might hear some bands you recognize, and hopefully some you don’t. I find the best way to discover music is to take a chance and listen to the stuff you aren’t sure you’ll like.
