Today, VSECU and the Vermont Foodbank celebrated 20 years of the Point to Point, powered by VSECU, a cycling and running event to raise funds and awareness to fight hunger in Vermont. Through this iconic summer event, thousands of caring participants have raised over $2,000,000 and helped to provide more than 3.3 million meals to Vermonters in need.

VSECU, FHLBank Boston Partner Again to Give Another $50,000 in Nonprofit Grants

VSECU and FHLBank Boston partnered to distribute an additional $50,000 in Jobs for New England Recovery Grant funds to eight Vermont nonprofits. The $5,000 and $10,000 grants will help preserve and create job opportunities, support local economic development, and further important community services.

VSECU, a member-owned cooperative and not-for-profit credit union for all Vermonters, is providing a total of $50,000 to five Vermont nonprofits through its member-directed giving program We Care 2. The funds will help these organizations continue to help Vermonters meet their essential needs, with a particular focus this year on food, shelter, heat, and COVID-19 relief efforts. Since the inception of the We Care 2 giving program in 2013, VSECU members have used their votes to direct $261,000 to nonprofit organizations working to improve the quality of life for all Vermonters.
