很晚了，应该睡了
可是刚刚看了一则新闻让我很激动

在佛山下午五点多有位两岁的小女孩在街上被车子碾过
之后的七八分钟内有十八只不知是否还算是人的东西经过
可没有一个肯伸出援手导致小女孩被另一辆车子再次碾过

司机受访时还不当一回事地说他在打电话没注意
孩子的家长没看好孩子不该让她自己乱跑

在视频上看到车子前轮碾过小女孩后停了一下
可是司机完全没下车查看反而还催油离开
也不管后轮又碾过了小女孩的身体
他说发现没人他就跑了
还说撞死人最多赔十多二十万就行了撞伤了要赔更多

听说小女孩已被宣布脑死了
虽然两个肇祸司机都自首(?)了
可是就算把他们都枪毙了也没用了

今晚我为人性哭了。。。

for the first time in my life, I wanted to join the rally
if I were in KL, I think I would really be there.

i didnt hv this feeling to the previous Refomasi and Bersih rally, but somehow I feel diff to the Bersih 2.0

I support the movement from the beginning, but I also do think that it is not really a good idea to hv it on the street. like what they said, the intention may be good but it may not b easy to control.

after they met up with Agong. decided not to hv the rally on the street. n accepted the offer from our PM, to hv it at the stadium. I really think that it's gonna be a perfect ending to both sides. but all story comes w a twist. they couldn't get a license from the police, stadium refused to let them use the place, so everything back to square again.

I feel furious abt it. this is the type of bad authorities that like to play with their power, which I thought it only appear in the movies in '80. but it's happening now in reality!

anyway, kudos to all who supported the movement, be it mentally or physically. it definitely changed some people's mind out there.

I explained to Stella on what happened, n asked her that if she'd let me join em if we were in KL. she replied 'yes of course. n I'll go with u'

malacca trip

前幾個星期跟幾個死黨到馬六甲去逛了逛
幾乎快一年沒跟他們見面
這次時間配合得到就馬上答應了

循例就是吃吃喝喝，不過因爲這次住宿的房間很小又不方便所以沒喝很多
雖然塞了三個小時的車去到馬六甲就只住了一晚然後房間又不舒服
可是難得跟老友見面還是值得的

車禍

那天回家才聽説前一晚爸爸發生車禍
他是連環車禍四輛車裏的最後一輛，人沒事可是車卻要入厰大修

接下來的一個星期他沒車可用，對大半輩子在車上過的他應該是很不方便的
剛好三姐要去靜坐，就決定讓爸爸用她的車

老爸從沒開過自動排檔的車，我們幾個就陪他開到附近的車厰練習順便看看他車的狀況
老江湖的他雖然很快上手，可是還是看出他的緊張
第一次，看到他有點手足無措
才發現，是該輪到我們讓他依靠了。。。

日劇

話説有一天跟同事在趕工，可是不知怎麽聊到日劇去
然後其他人也跟著加入踴躍的談論
然後就從youtube翻出了好多經典日劇的歌曲
然後又發現雖然我們的年齡有別但是卻都是聼著這些歌長大的

然後我回家后就上網找了Long Vacatioin來看
然後一邊看一邊緬懷過去

記得我不是很喜歡Love Generation，可是它的歌還是很好聽的

光聼前奏就很high的GTO

還有那時我最喜歡的Do As Infinity 的 Yesterday & Today。記得是哪部日劇的歌嗎？

不過還是要看原版的MV才好看。03:42的畫面曾經讓我驚艷不已。

然後最近看了《月光戀人》，蠻不錯的
然後然後最重要的是劇裏的歌曲是久保田利伸重出江湖再作馮婦

Fish Story

如果我的挫折是魚，無論河川或大海都會由於其悲痛與滑稽而不再提供棲身之處。

“紅不起來的樂團，在解散前所錄製的最後一首歌，卻在冥冥之中改變了這個世界的未來”

同一本書裏的三句話帶出四則故事，四則在四十年裏不同時空人物卻又息息相關的故事。
通常我會比較喜歡長篇小説。喜歡看完長篇后的失落感。

Fish Story 是本書中的第三則故事，短短的一篇才57頁可是卻能讓人細細回味。
喜歡人物淡淡冷冷處之泰然卻很有意思，很村上龍。

喔對了，看了另一位讀者的讀後感才發覺原來伊岅幸太郎的小説真的跟安達充的漫畫有異曲同工之處。很多細細的地方都暗藏玄機。

仔細一看，故事裏的老爸跟大學朋友聊天的地方很可能就跟搖滾樂團解散前喝酒的是同一個地方，服務生可能是同一個人哦。

然後最近在日本電影節看了這部改編自小説的電影
雖不是很喜歡（我也好像沒喜歡過哪部小説改編的電影）但也不錯看
然後還很意外的發現電車男也在裏面呀，呵呵

這就是會拯救地球的歌

it's been a while...

I've been really busy for the past months, lots of things happened, good and bad.
just wrap up a project on hand... not fully completed yet but it shouldn't be as stress anymore... hopefully

directed a viral video last saturday
the first time being video director, it was indeed a fun experience

now I think I deserve a break...

最近很多人走了
死黨的母親、同事的祖母（外婆？）然後今晚剛接到消息我的姑姑也走了

其實我們並不很親並不常往來
只是過年過節或她到我家附近買馬票時會過來串串門子
但是她卻是影響我童年後人生滿大的人
記得當年我在國中逍遙快活時是她提我叫我再試試報考獨中的

看了海地的灾祸，不禁想到不久前刚看完的《黄祸》

这看似和平稳定的世界其实是一个假象
一个天灾,或一个错误的决定就可能会把一个民族、国家甚至世界摧毁
人类的自私蛮横都会在灾难发生时赤裸裸的暴露出来
无论你平时多么的道貌岸然，为了生存也会把一切的伦理道德吐到一旁

故事是震撼的
象2012那种以视觉取胜的烂片我看过就算
可是这书中的情节却如斯的栩栩如生
虽然是虚构的，可是好像随时都有可能会发生，或者有些已经/正在发生了

故事结局猪吃人那一幕比汉尼拔那一段震撼多了
以两本书出版的年份比较的话，托马斯·哈里斯还有抄袭的嫌疑呵

好几天没看报，刚刚才看到了中国女留学生被误抓在狱中度过八天的旧闻
看了些新闻报导，也读了她的狱中日记，感觉汗颜得无地自容
很多事我们都知道，可是能做些什么呢？大多数人选择了默默承受
但当这些我们试图视之不见的事被一个深受其害的外国人写了出来
我完全可以想象到那些人的恶心的嘴脸

她不止写了在牢里的体验，也道出了对马来西亚的印象
当提到她不义胆小的马来西亚华人（马华）朋友时，跟那个搞得沸沸嚷嚷的马华不是如出一撇吗？

但是，我们又能做些什么呢？

christmas eve

Stella and I hated to be in the crowd, so we decided to have a peaceful night at home instead.
while people queuing up in high class restaurant in their best dress, we just went downstairs kopitiam dabao some dishes from the mix rice stall.

the dinner was good, just a little too much that we can't finish all.

had a little red wine for the dinner, and we decided to watch a movie after that.
I suggested to watch "before sunrise" and "before sunset" coz they are Stella's favourite movies.

this is not the first time I watch the movies, just that I fall of sleep the previous time I watch them. now that I have subtitle for the movies, I managed to finish them all this time round.

I don't think I'd ever finish any of them if I were to watch them individually, but when put them together, it's an interesting story...

the first movie (1995) is about a guy and a gal met in a train. the guy had to fly back to US and the gal was heading to paris(?), but they decided to spend the few hours together in Vienna before they apart. well this is just a beautified one-night-stand story to me, doesn't really turn me on. the movie ended at the couple made a promise to meet each other again 6 months later at the same place.

the second movie (2004), before sunset, was 9 years after the first movie... the actor and actress are older now (both in the movie and real life). it's interesting to see the changes of their lives, and also changes of their character and personality.

basically it is just showing the couple talking and ranting for the whole movies, but it's interesting to watch them together. if watching individually... i'd recommend u to give it a pass... :P

shopping craze

went to orchard today after work coz needed to buy some stuff for the gift exchange tomorrow. expected to have a lot of people, but that's way tooooo much. it's just a normal weekday, why are there so many people? shopping don't need money? I'm shocked to see the crowd and the queue in almost all the shops... I can't even find any seat after checking out a few makan places, in the end had to bear with the hunger n head back home to eat at the kopitiam downstair instead.

at orchard I tweeted:

试着深呼吸，但是我的双手还是禁不著在微微发抖。紧握着武器的手心有点冒汗，粘粘的很不舒服。

他们还是在窗外徘徊叫嚣，就象烦人的苍蝇般挥之不去。他们在这有多久了呢？我己想不起来了。从我刚到家他们就在了，所以应该有两三天了吧。

我不想伤害任何人，可是为了守护我的家，我不得不那么做
手不自觉捉得太紧又在发抖了

it's over, at last...

I'm so glad that i'm managed to go through this term of the Korean class
so much things happened and I was so busy for the past months
it's good that it's over now, and I'll have a little more of my own time
didn't really do well this term due to other commitment, but glad that I'm still able to pass.

I'm craving for books, can't wait to get some books to read...
and really expecting the coming long long holiday ^ ^

两个礼拜前公司旅行
本来是安排去年去的，但是大家都忙，拖到现在才能成行

ON ARRIVAL
匆匆忙忙赶完手头上的工作后大家冲到机场，还好没有误点
在机上看了出戏喝了点酒就睡了，为了第二天保留实力

到机场后买了巴士票，要等一个小时才开车
我们就随便在机场里溜达溜达

巴士超准时，服务员的服务也很好，不愧是日本
但开车后我们却被困在车龙里差不多两个小时，还好车上有厕所

路上乱拍

CHECK-IN + LUNCH
到酒店还太早不能check-in
放下大包小包的行李后我们就出去找东西吃去也

本来打算要吃拉面的，但看到店外的人龙就决定到另一家较少人的店去吃

STREET VIEW
吃饱后要去等巴士，路上看什么都很希奇，象乡巴佬酱

GHIBLI STUDIO
然后我们就来到了日本动画的圣殿 - Ghibli Museum
馆内有好多东西看，由原稿、草图、雕像、玩具、短篇、3D立体动画等等
可惜馆内不能拍照，只拍到天台天空之城的机器人

DINNER
晚餐时间下雨，就随便找了家拉面店胡乱吃了碗拉面
店面超小，我们一行人就几乎塞满了整间店

进门先用自动贩卖机点菜
然后再把票根拿给老板为你准备食物

日本人吃东西很快
比我们迟来的人三两口吃完拍拍屁股就走了我们还在细嚼慢咽

SUBWAY
日本地铁满复杂的
不同的路线交错盘横，一不小心就会去荷兰
买票还蛮简单的，不过票价很贵

地铁站内的海报还蛮有趣的
"please do it at the beach"，叫你要玩到海边玩去
不过柱子旁的大叔大婶看起来还蛮可怕的
好像随时会发狂出手杀人的样子

SUPPER
搞了一整天回到酒店都快半夜了
日本人的肚子应该很小，那么一碗拉面怎能填得饱肚子
后来我们去麦当劳找东西吃
猪肉汉堡蛮不错的喔，不过可惜没有辣椒酱

bad news

i hate to believe...
wake up this morning switch on TV, the news appear on TV is that Yasmin Ahmad passed away.

I've been following her blog, she was still active in posting news stuff and responding to ppl's post just few days ago. the last time I checked, no one posted anything to say goodbye to her. I guess most ppl choose not to admit the fact, and hoping that the whole thing is not real.

I saw her in real person once in one of the kancil awards, she was so charming and everyone cheered for her when she went up to the stage. her well known festive TVCs were so touching, it was always memorable and made ppl to think and talk about.

the last TVC of hers I watch in Singapore:

her death indeed is a great loss for the country, creative and film industry
may she rest in peace...
