I just had a multiple geargasm...

I've seen sample shots and comparisons of this with the previous version, and it's a smokin bit of glass.
I love the way Nikon does their lens caps with the center pinch..on my Canons and Sigmas, the clasps are on the outer edge so you have to take the hood off everytime. &gt;:(

Nikon really seems to have reclaimed the position of optics and body superiority it held in the film days.</description>
