Join our 10-week exercise challenge and lead into summer feeling fit, toned and strong.

Whatever your goal may be, whether it's to train consistently, get stronger, lose weight, run 2km or 42km, it doesn’t matter. Our qualified, friendly and University-trained staff will help you get there.

Join the Werribee Health & Fitness Centre's 10-Week Challenge and our exercise trainers will help support you to achieve your goals.

The 10-Week Challenge entry includes:

an initial consultation with a qualified fitness instructor
goal setting
a tailored exercise program
an induction with a fitness instructor to show you through each exercise
gym membership for three months
access to group exercise classes
a final consultation and review.

Cost

The 10-Week Challenge is free for VU Werribee Health & Fitness Centre members or costs $195 for non-members.

The Youth IT Careers Program is holding upcoming information sessions.

The 10 week program is aimed at unemployed young people experiencing barriers to education and employment. Applicants must be attached to a support worker, aged between 18-25 years and wanting to further their IT skills to gain relevant employment.

The Youth IT Careers Program provides the training and experience required to get started in the industry and obtain a Certificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology (ICT20115).

Victoria University and ISEAL are please to have Nick Pocock and his team present the combined Australian and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society (ANZBMS) DEXA and Body Composition courses.

This is the first time the hybrid course combining DEXA and body composition has been offered so it's an opportunity to not be missed.

This clinical densitometry course is intended for both practitioners and technologists. It covers the patho-physiology of osteoporosis, as well as the principles and practice of bone density and body composition measurement.

92 year old Wal Hopkins from the class of 1938 will be one of the guests of honour at our upcoming Reunion Day.

Saturday 3 December is Reunion Day our main centenary event. Held at Footscray Park Campus, you can reconnect with teachers, classmates and make new connections.

Williamstown Surf Lifesaving Club

Would you like your child learning about beach safety? Come along to Victoria University's Beach Safety Day.

We aim to educate children (6+ years in line with Life Saving Victoria’s Nipper Program) on basic lifesaving skills. We will teach them the skills to be safe in and around open water.

Activities for the day include:

beach safety talk from an experienced Beach Lifesaver
learning about beach safety signals
rescues
open water swimming
board paddling
beach games.

The orientation program helps you settle in to studying at Victoria University (VU) and living in Melbourne. Orientation is a comprehensive program designed to help you with your transition to university life. It is important that you attend this program to get essential orientation, enrolment and course information.

learn about support services at VU and in the community

The Centre of Policy Studies (CoPS), Victoria University, will host an Economic Modelling Open Day for students of economics who are interested in CGE modelling.

The day will be of particular interest to prospective PhD students, but is not restricted to prospective PhD candidates.

Our Economic Modelling Open Day will allow you to:

learn about CGE modelling
see examples of PhD topics that could be undertaken at CoPS
learn about careers for economists who have a background in CGE modelling.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about CGE modelling and to see examples of CGE models applied to current economic policy issues.

Studentships

CoPS is offering a limited number of studentships to cover expenses for attending this event. Studentships include:

two nights accommodation expenses in the Melbourne CBD
flights to Melbourne for successful interstate/regional applicants.
