We've been toiling on a multitude of projects. We should get to post some new work and link over the month of march that'll really blow you away. An Engagement

Jonathan Greene, resident Flash genius, and Colleen Collins are now engaged. Jon and Colleen met during a bowling tournament, as captains of their respective teams, and so, Jon surprised Ms. Collins this past week while bowling a game at a local alley. We're all incredibly happy for Colleen and Jon.

Over the last few weeks Walker has been working with other core members of the Digital Web team to revamp the inner workings of www.digital-web.com. While you might not notice any changes when your soaking in the DW goodness, the entire codebase of the site has been redeveloped using Walker’s first programming love, the popular CakePHP framework.

I was reading Ask the wizard, written by Dick Costolo (of FeedBurner fame…and from our very own Chicago, IL!) and he mentioned the purchase of Marc Andreesen's company, Opsware by HP for $1.6bil. When I went over and read Marc's blog, I noticed the small type at the bottom of his entry.

I was looking at the code of "a website in development" and saw a comment that is the title of this article. Tables shouldn't touch off your upchuck reflex all the time. They can (& should) be used when called for.

As a development shop, I can tell you that the PR firms can't handle the technology aspects of their job. Only the big PR firms even grasp that there's a need or necessity for certain tech-related projects. The small ones can't handle this stuff and aren't even aware of how to sell it.

We've got some pages on our site that see a lot of traffic but had high bounce rates. (Bounces are when a person visits one page...and that's it. They don't bother looking at any other pages on the site.) These pages are the landing pages for our advertising campaign.
