JOSH CULLEN's Nail Design inspired by his tattoo.

I admit, most days its just me holding on to so many ideas floating in my head. A lot of times, these are triggered by what I see versus what I feel when I look at something. The only way I can scratch that itch is to turn them into concepts like this.

Josh Cullen is a curious case for me. His strength and vulnerability as an artist is something that pulls me in. His personality, his view of life, how he projects himself in public on top of the songs he writes and his backstory is something that both resonates with me, and intimidates me at the same time. I guess this is exactly the right formula to want to get to know him deeper. To take a glimpse at what isnt obvious (or is!). And as I go through the motion of trying not to leave any rocks unturned, his tattoo became my anchor.

I deconstructed the different symbols embedded in the design, and gave them their intuitive meaning. I've always believed that sometimes, tearing things apart may help understand what you're trying to figure out.

Disclaimer: This is just a personal interpretation. A result of my overthinking obsession. What I wrote is the initial feeling that came to mind.

The enlightened lady vampire and her hands, fangs and tongue out:

What I wrote in the instruction layout:

"the smoke along with the shadow hands: screens and visuals of control that could go both ways. a defense or an attack. like the chains, there is a concept of restraint."

"femme softness that bleeds. strength in breaking out from the void of being overpowered. bite back."

Instead of being monstrous, the lady vampire and her pose along with the elements she embodies feels more like an expression of someone following her instinct. There's tension of influences between restraint, manipulation, control, and breaking free from suppression. Wanting to bite back, to reclaim power. Coming from either harm or defense. of bleeding out but refusing to surrender.

A symbol of survival and consumption in a world that demands performance.

The plague mask / skeleton

What i wrote in the instruction layout:

"the plague masks acts as both protection and cover.. its symbolic for someone who’s seen so much pain in the world and is living life in constant caution."

The masks acts as both a shield and regulator. A product of exposure harnessed through awareness.
Feathered Headdress

What i wrote in the instruction layout:

"feathers. of a crow (or bird) or from an ancient chief. signifying instinct, awareness, shedding, and growth."

The feathered headdress (and the loose feathers), acts as symbols of growth and wisdom. The shedding concept, and it being collected reveals an idea of letting go and using that experience to maneuver a world with give and take disruption through inherited knowledge and responsibility.

Overall, this deconstruction acts like a psychological map by design. Maybe it reflects who Josh Cullen is, maybe not. But in its entirety, it mirrors an identity forged through pain, perseverance, visibility through choice, and a role to boot. to lead, share, and perform in a world that demands it.

MANIFEST with the Universe Cheque

I've actually seen a lot of different kinds of printable manifestation cheques, but, since the technique leans on individual belief, I decided to create my own for personal use (supposedly). I'm sharing it here just in case you like my design and prefer to use it as well.

If you're not familiar with this law of attraction style yet, this is one of the many popular ways to manifest money. It is mentioned in "The Secret", and had been used by many believers, even celebrities.

Jim Carrey's story is probably the most popular where he mentioned in his interviews that, he had done this before. Wrote a check for himself thinking he'd eventually get the amount he had written on it. And voila! IT DID HAPPEN eventually! You can search Youtube vids and clips about it if you want the full story and experience.

Now for the fun part, HOW DO YOU DO IT?

Download, Print and Fill it up!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Click the image above, download, print and cut it so it will look like a legit cheque. (You can print as many as you want!)
Fill in the needed details. On the pay to the order of, simply write your name. Or anyone you wish to manifest money for. Write the amount in numeric form, and in words.
On the FOR area, you can put what it is you wish to use it for. Some people put powerful words such as, "law of attraction", "manifesting abundance", "travel purposes", "financial freedom", and so forth. BE CREATIVE.
As far as for the DATE, always keep in mind that the date you put shouldn't put too much pressure on your belief. You can write just the month or the year, but if you're really confident (big emphasis on the belief and confidence), then by all means, write the specific date you want to put in it.
SIGN it with: YOUR NAME (if you believe that the Universe knows that you have this abundance from your Universe's bank), or JUST SIGN with, THE UNIVERSE. or GOD.
When you're done, what you need to do is look at the check and visualize the moment where you're already receiving the amount you have placed in it. What does it look like to have that abundance? How do you feel? Keep those giddy and happy feeling in and remember it!
You can place the cheque anywhere you can see it everyday, just make sure that whenever you see it, remember that the universe is making it happen and it will deliver it to you soon. You can also put it in your wallet, and everytime you feel like it, you'll know that it is going in your account soon enough.
Continue on with your day, and avoid worrying and expecting when it will happen. Let go, and let the Universe do its job.

To guarantee that your manifestation will work, make sure your belief about money and how it comes to you, and your blockages are acknowledged. There are ways to check whether you have an abundance block and how to remove them.

Powerful Storytelling Course (Reaction)

Dear sir Ricky Lee,

Writing had always been my escape. My therapy. In my quest to find purpose to my thoughts, I felt the urge to explore how to make use of this hobby more creatively and hopefully with more meaning. Self-doubt, however, had been an avid demon in my own sabotage.

In my quest to fight against it, I told myself: "maybe, if I learn from the master, I'd gain at least a bit of that confidence, little by little… in my head, you were that master." This is why, finally, I decided to watch your free lectures and interviews anywhere I could find it. I went to borrow Trip to Quiapo from my sister, and even bought the Kulang na Silya as my way of taking the first steps to this path.

The next phase was to take up workshops from you. I am still really shy, so at the moment, I decided to get the self-paced one.

From everything that I've experienced along this exploration, there was never a time that I didn't have tears in my eyes, resonating from your stories. The video clips were short, but each one gave me the validation that everything that you were saying, I was already doing. From listening to music, writing diaries, watching movies, observing people in my idle time, running on emotions and imaginations. It was like looking at an inner me that is wanting to explode. You were like the voice of a higher self soul that I've always needed to listen to.

Technically speaking, I know I still have a lot more to consider. But, my heart is full knowing that I am given the right push from seeking your presence in my quest. Thank you so much for your generosity at teaching and inspiring the silent creatives needing your guidance. Somehow, I found me a pocketful of pixie I needed to keep me wanting to move forward on this journey. Maraming, maraming salamat po!

That Invisible String

Trusting. After being broken a few times, you'll start believing that this couldn't be it. You start trying to find clues that the universe is more than just giving you lessons, and can't be giving you all these pain and failed relationships just to make you suffer. There must be something else out there that will truly hold your heart.

A string that pulled me

Out of all the wrong arms, right into that dive bar

Before our life ends, believing is the only way we can manifest true feelings, happiness and love to come our way. It all starts with finding what you truly want for yourself, first, and clearing the unnecessary. It always does however cliché it may sound.

Time, mystical time

Cutting me open, then healing me fine

And just like this song, simply believing that someone out there might actually be tied with you and allowing the universe to just show this to you at the right time, is more than enough tug to keep our thoughts hopeful… it can be fun to get surprises, so, let's just leave them to it, and go with the flow. See where everything leads.. just jumping to the unknown. Trust, and believe. <3 

Mirrorball Feels

In a haze, I felt stripped naked with this song. It's a bit mysterious for me to be able to relate to anything that feels as if someone had seen me or my story and wrote about it. It's like exposing your soul. Ah.. Aren't these the wonders of artworks and pieces? To be able to reflect something that you thought is well hidden and uniquely you.

I'll show you every version of yourself tonight"

It had been a struggle to view yourself as someone reflecting everyone thru your personality. I've always considered it both as a gift and a curse. The idea of not being seen for who you are, because you are seen differently every time. Often they see themselves, and not you. There's a certain turning point of overcoming the envy whenever you realize the mirrored version of themselves actually fixes them, and you are left hanging or stuck at a void, confused whether you've lost yourself in the process.

"And when I break, it's in a million pieces"

Let's not discount the fact of getting sidelined sometimes just because they end up projecting their own insecurities and fears on you unconsciously. The push and pull of people depending on who they are at the moment, and whether they can take the heat to which you are taught to adjust. To change to fit their needs. And you sort of, just get used to it. It felt like a means to survive for awhile.

"I want you to know
I'm a mirrorball
I can change everything about me to fit in"

Most of the time, you go through a never ending cycle of finding yourself over and over again every time a situation ends. You hold on to the consolation of knowing there will always be a lesson to learn in all these.

I believe I've always known this for so long… but it was just recently that I've actually tried to see the bigger picture of it all. For some reason, it felt like I faced another mirror and saw that instead of just reflecting, I shined. Who would've thought that seeing yourself, and being able to bring out bits of finally seeing a chance to shed some authenticity through those mirrors would change your view.

"You are not like the regulars
The masquerade revelers
Drunk as they watch my shattered edges glisten"

I saw myself. I saw my growth. I saw who I was before, and who I can become. Who I've wanted to be all this time. I am a mirror, but, I now know how to maneuver without getting lost through it all. I embraced the fact that when everyone is gone, I am dancing on my own shining more than ever knowing I've served my purpose.

This time around, instead of shying away, I've become more eager to help mirror anyone who might need it. Who comes forward and accepts it for what it is, the same way I did. And finally, to not expect everyone to understand. To not force them to get it. Some people will runaway, and it is not your job to chase them. Allow only those that will help mold you to be a better version of yourself, making sure that you are doing the same for them.

This way, we will all shine. If we keep trying… we just might be able to do so.

And maybe, just maybe… you'd find the right person, who'd shed that light on you with no effort, that will make you shine all the way through. <3

I read somewhere that I'm going to be given the answers unexpectedly. I'm shocked that I didn't have to go too far to actually finally getting one that makes sense. Well, if you think about it, it did come from a really far place: Palawan to be exact. Lols.

I've been having this idea that, all my life I have always seen myself working in two personas: the little girl, and the present me. Just recently, a new character emerged. We'll call her Avril. That teen angst girl who's just so full of baggage. Heavy baggage that I've learned to put in the deepest storage, and yet, here she is. Out and about. I've been having a hard time dealing with her presence. She's troublesome most of the time. Playing with my emotions, pulling me in rollercoaster rides and then throwing her fist in the air, mocking and just making things chaotic.

Childish tantrums are easier to deal with than this teenage angst.

That's the only context I gave wabbit. And that's all he needed to know.

He started out asking: so what's wrong with that? She's still you right? Stop fighting it and just let it out. If she wants to be heavy, let her be. Why do you want to suppress her? As long as you're in control, you should accept the fact that she's there and she's a part of your life. She's a part of who you are now. (this struck me big time…)

I have never wanted to acknowledge that. I mean, I probably have, but she has never had any control in my life, until now.

Out of all the possible personalities that should pop up, it's a little bothersome to be having her presence right now. She has all the drama, the traumas, the flaws, the mistakes, the mess ups, the heartbreaks… everything that I wanted buried, she brought up with her. Why???

IT'S A LITTLE STUPID TO BE ASKING THIS. OF COURSE, I KNOW WHY. (but that's another story to tell)

Rabbit's response is the one I've always wanted to hear. Correction, needed to hear. For some reason, everyone else told me to put her back in the box. But he said, I NEED TO REEXAMINE HER PRESENCE. If I have to wear her as a bracelet, a charm, or whatever, let her stay. Because her presence, could mean something. Maybe a lesson I missed… or needed to see again. It's annoying, but yeah… I think I need her so I wouldn't be too harsh… or not.

I need her… to remind me. Life is harsh. And that at some point in your life, you were able to deal with a lot of bullshit. It brought you down, it made you angry, it made you fight back.

Fight back.

No matter how chaotic she is, she has always been the fighter. She was always asleep because you have always been strong. Now that you're feeling a little weaker, she rises up to kick your ass into reality. She has always been your source of strength. Remind yourself. SHE FOUGHT SO YOU CAN BE PATIENT. SO YOU CAN FEEL LOVE. SHE IS THE CONTRAST OF PEACE, BUT YET, SHE IS THE REASON WHY YOU WANTED TO BE OKAY. YOU WANTED TO BE OKAY, FOR EVERYONE ELSE.

LET HER STIR YOU A BIT. MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, YOU NEED TO REMEMBER: HOW TO BECOME STRONGER. BE THE REBEL THAT SHE WAS AGAINST WHATEVER IS MAKING YOU DOUBT YOURSELF.

A REBEL… AH YEAH. There's the key were looking for. Gotcha!

Wonder Land

The laughter continues… maybe it's about time to ignore what's really happening. Maybe, this will be the new normal. Each day of pretending everything's okay, and that we should just move forward without resolving anything for real would eventually lead to just miraculously getting fixed.

Cause, why? Why would you even want to make things complicated, when everyone is doing their part to act as if nothing happened? What's the point of addressing the elephant in the room? Why risk and be told you're stirring the harmony that's being born out of deceit?

If it means getting fixed in the end, maybe we should just trust the process?

Do you even wanna dare ask, just what kind of end we're all waiting for? What is going to be fixed anyway?

I guess we're just awaiting to grow up after falling in the rabbit hole. We're being given that "Drink Me" potion as the only solution… everything is all but a fantasy. Eventually, we'll learn to live in this new world we have weaved.

But until then, we all wear the Mad Hatter's hat, and be silly… after all, we're all mad here.

Time Travel

I went back in time!

While trying to see what layout I'd like to change this blog into, I ended up checking my posts. Yeah, you got that right, been reading thoughts way back 2007. Some silly, mostly gloomy and bored, and some are just nonsense.

After all this time, I thought I'd be a whole lot different from who I was before... turns out after 12 years I still sound almost the same. Same thoughts, same understanding, same inspiration. I guess the only difference now is that, I can say most of them with confidence and conviction. They may be a different situation, but they are all still very applicable in the now. My thoughts still echo.

And I don't know if that's a good thing, or not.

Adverbs of Thoughts

There’s always that moment when you thought your brain is working overtime for things that makes no sense. Your mind is busy daydreaming and thinking yet you have no way of pinpointing just what it is that’s making all that noise inside your brain.

Wondering.

You’re at a point where you want to write and then realize you’re at the end of the pages of your journal. So you give it meaning saying, maybe this is it… to write something that would end all these running thoughts.

Pondering.

You try to push back all the negative thoughts. Trying with all your might to focus on the positive. Lean only on the good stuff. Balance everything out… you got this!

Swaying.

Because sometimes you falter. No matter how brave you think you are, something jumps out to scare you. You take a step back and evaluate, how do you work things through?

Creeping.

Both for the ones that haunt you, and yourself slowly moving to get back to stability. It’s a never ending struggle.

Holding.

To whatever gives you the strength to stay where you are… and to push you forward. That little spark and pixie dusts that keep you going. Because in a world filled with surprises, you just have to label the good ones.

Drunk Blogging about Jang Geun Suk

I can't believe I'm actually doing this. Let me describe the situation: This is me comparing myself to a pathetic ex girlfriend drunk texting an ex boyfriend who would either 1.) enjoy this and make a reply saying all good things as if they have a chance of actually getting back together again, or 2.) just enjoy this and feed his ego.

Why? I can't even compare to the who-knows-how-many-number of eels that were actually there from the start fan girling over the Asia Prince. I'm a late bloomer when it comes to obsessing over him, and to think I'm not even the type to go screaming about liking an actor. Not even local ones.

It's just that Jang Keun (or Geun) Suk is terribly interesting. For sure he's good looking and all that... but he's narcissistic. Conceited most of the time, and just so full of himself. Which is quite adorable because he's the type that knows what he wants and goes for it. He's free spirited, but at the same time, he shows a side where you'd think he's lonely when he absolutely isn't quite so. Well at least when it comes to being famous he knows just where he stands. He's Asia Prince for goodness sake! Yet, he has this insecure side that gets fed off through fans who'd do just about anything to feed his need.

I could go on and on dissecting the kind of character Jang Geun Suk is to me, but then again, maybe I should do that when I can type clearly. For now, let's establish the fact that he'd enjoy so well... that I'm so interested about his personality. And that, after some theories, I'm actually hearing him say stuff that I was assuming in my mind through the different segments (youtube vidoes about interviews, show guesting, and concerts) that turns out to be true after all. I only learned it when I decided to watch other video clips after finishing most of his movies and K-dramas.

I have so many questions about his roles in his films... I guess I'd save that for another blog entry about him as that would take awhile to discuss.

For now I want to leave the question... how does one fan get noticed by someone like him???

Chic Business Essential Planner Inserts

Continuing my journey to the perfect planner inserts, I am trying to complete my version of business planner refill set. I started out with the Sales Log inserts with a free downloadable template for personal planners.

This is in connection to my recently purchased personal planner, which I intend to use to keep track of my shops' orders. That includes job orders like graphic layouts, paper crafts, invitations, souvenirs, and so much more. This insert is labeled as the "Job Order" planner in insert .

I've always been a hoarder of journals and diaries just because I love writing and doodling... when it comes to planners though, I thought the ready made ones (the one with cute colors and pages, bookbound mind you) were great, but they are never perfect enough for my needs. Lo and behold, I wonder why I never thought of being able to make one for myself? Finally I found the time and the right reason to do so.

Renovations, A Good Start

My room (meaning mine and my kids) is getting a make-over.. I'm not sure if this counts as a valid post, but so far I just want to write something here. If anyone cares that is. I wonder if anyone still reads this???

Anyway, so yeah... the last time I had my room re-done, paint, ceiling, cleaning, and all was when I had my first child. Now we're doing it again for my little girl. Aside from our bedroom, I'm getting a craftroom fix as well. That actually was done ahead: the walls are painted already with passion purple, and most of my crafting tools are there.

I bought a printer too... maybe I should make a review of the stuffs that I've purchased recently. I'm keeping myself inspired. A lot have been going on lately and this, writing, might help push me more on keeping my head in the game.

Yeah. So far, there ain't no ups and downs, but just bumps along the way. My graphic designing is kicking off. Been getting a handful of layout requests and all. I hope this goes well from here. Like I said, if I stay focused and determined, I just might be able to accomplish more this year.

I hope I improve even more.

Guess that's it for now.

This post doesn't make sense. But yeah... I'm pretty sure if I read this again someday I'll know what's hiding in between the lines.

On Death and Points

Inspired by Tado's death and many others, I couldn't help but wonder how one's life ends, and whether anyone is ever ready... what's there beyond death? and how are we to truly respond? we who are grieving their loss.

Should we like Tado, have our tributes in advance? Because, like they say, 'no one can tell, if it's your time to go, it's just your time and nothing more.'

He's such a genius. To be able to voice out an idea that we all are asking every time someone around us dies: "What will others say when I die? My friends. Family. Relatives. Frenemies?"

With that, the frequent reply at the back of my head is: "If not much of a good thing will be said, and I haven't done enough that I can brag about, I sure am not dying any time soon." Even if we all know no one says anything bad about a departed.

And then there's that nagging feeling of wanting to 'live life to the fullest', 'now's the time to act', and everything else worth the panicked feeling of 'if i die young, i can't', because unlike the brilliant people that died ahead, I just don't think I've done everything just yet.

I'm not even sure I'm ready to lose anyone either. Well, who is? Right?

Death. It's becoming closer to home. Scratching the surface of my comfort zone. Do we notice this because of our age? Is it the social media's fault for it had made all of us closer? acquainted? virtually intertwined. Hi-tech universe at its finest.

Point is, it's always there. The end of the line. The line itself is a bunch of points. Hmmmm.. I get it!

Points. Not a bunch of periods, but points. Period is the end. Points, well, can be significant. To each point an event, an activity, a celebration. Life... line... make every point count. That's it. Let's continue making points. Did I make my point clear just here?

Oh well.

Yeah.

How To Keep Yourself Motivated

Warning: Random thoughts pouring in, and typing hands messing it all up.

I hate saying 'reviving my blog', I can never maintain it after anyway. I'm just full of hope and anticipation right now that I thought maybe I should write it down.

I don't have that much pixie dust to last my positive vibes a few months, I've learned I have to find a way to search for these pixie dusts in everything around me.

Yes, that's the secret actually, there.. I said it.. to find your own share of pixie dust.

It's like shaking every tree, dusting every nooks and crannies of everything you can think of...

Do you get what I mean???

The hardest part about all these is staying positive. In believing that there is some pixie dust even in the darkest spots. I guess, you can only find it, if you want to. And if you believe, that there is something there.

A dust of hope. A pinch of magical dust, that can put everything else in perspective, and make you soar with delight.

After all, you only have yourself to satisfy. After that, every one else will learn to believe you too.

And by that, you'd eventually become tinkerbell herself, spreading your own share of pixie dust to those closest to you.

Stay positive. Happy... and spread some love and pixie dust.

Of Love and Forgiveness: How do you Know?

I know love is hardwork. Better yet, relationships are hardwork. But how do you know when to call it quits? How do you know if things aren't meant to be? Or just how much of these can one take?

What if I'm not really ready to give up?

But how do you forgive someone who isn't even asking for forgiveness in the first place? How do you deal with a person who doesn't even know perhaps his own faults. If he does, he won't show you. Just how do you know?

Where do you pick up shatters of patience and understanding when you need to compromise?

There's a lot of these and that and it boggles me. There's a pain that nags inside, yet there's something stopping me from giving up.

Still, just how long can I keep up?

Reviving My Blog in 3.. 2..

I know there ain't no trick as to ways on how to keep your blog running, there's only COMMITMENT.

So, here I am.. hopefully, this will be the last "coming back" post I'll ever write. After a very long vacation that is.

WM Nature Touch Natural Skincare: 24K Gold Beauty Care

Back when I was in my teenage years, I was never one to care about the way I look. I would dress up pretty differently, weird to most, but that's just it. While most girls are learning to shape their eyebrows, put lipstick and other cosmetics on their faces, I was running around playing tag with younger kids.

That makes me a late bloomer when it comes to real, technical beauty care and the likes.

Up to these years I still have that fear of putting on too much of anything on my face. I don't have many problems with my skin as I still do look and feel too young for my age. But, I could never hide the fact that finally, I have to learn to take and treat myself, especially my face, better.

I wanted to stick to natural if not organic, cosmetics or beauty maintenance stuff.

About a few weeks ago I was sent these to try:

WM Nature Touch 24K Soft Mask, 24k Gold Regeneration
Stem Cell Toner, 24K Genuine Gold Serum, an Ancient's Secret Soap
and a Gold Sparkle BB Cream

I was actually hesitant to try, but with the belief that it is made without the harmful ingredients present in most commercial ones, I did.

These products are from: WM Nature Touch.

Ancient's Secret Soap

My favorite in the items sent to me is this Ancient's Secret Soap <----click this link to get to know more about its description. Being exposed to a lot of organic products, this one actually smells organic yet very pleasant. It is said to have pure goats milk, emu oil, olive oil and bengkoang. It's' very soft on the skin, lathery even, keeping to its promise a moisturized and rejuvenated skin afterwards.

24k Gold Toner and Serum

I've heard quite the hypes about using gold as part of keeping your skin young and wrinkle free. Comparing most of the time to the beauty that of Cleopatra's. Who wouldn't want to be bathe in gold???

The 24k Gold Toner works as a great cleanser. My routine after washing my face both in the morning and at night is to put or use the toner. The effects may not be easily visible (as to whitening, etc.), but you can very well feel a hint of tightening on the face. Pores feels and looks smaller making the skin look more smooth and clean, with the hopes of keeping away the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines (since I don't have much of that yet, and I intend to keep it like that).

The 24K Gold Serum is an additional routine I do at night following the toner. I keep the serum on my face while I sleep. It gives it more elasticity. I think you should say that's hydrating your skin with collagen which is an essential ingredient for youthful skin and reduce, yet again, wrinkles and fine lines. It's just best to use the 24k Gold skin care set to achieve its maximum effects.

24K Genuine Gold Powder Facial Mask

Now the 24k Gold Powder facial mask is what I enjoyed the most. Using it was a whole lot of mess but really fun to do. The instructions says you can mix the gold powder with water or honey. I of course thought honey would be better since "honey" itself has got a lot of known beauty benefits for the skin. In the picture you can see that I used Smucker's honey.

The honey is also the one that gave the color of the mask a richer gold. It's elastic too so you get that really giddy feeling on your skin where you can imagine gold and honey working on your face, enriching it with the nutrients and minerals it has to offer. You're supposed to leave it on for 20 minutes...

I let it stay for more than 30 minutes... giving the honey a bit of time to dry up a bit. Keeping in mind that the longer it stays on my face, the better and the more my face absorbs what it needs from the mixture.

It's sad the photo didn't catch the after effects that much, but the feeling after washing the mask off was really great!!! Your face feels relaxed, clean, and it has that really nice glow like you've just put some powder on. You get a glimpse of sparkly gold dusts here and there too.

I'd say for maintenance and natural skin care, I'll be okay with these set. I'm looking forward exploring more about this.

So, if you're after that GOLD experience, I'd say give these set a try. It would be best though if I also get myself some acne preventing skin care and such. I think I have a lot to learn about skin and face beauty care.

Anyways, it's never too late to bring out the Cleopatra in you. Cheers! ^_^

DIY: Cut Out Fringe Project

So I've gotten all obsessed about fringe shirts and just recently decided to follow the DIY tutorials found on the web. I loved how it turned out that I'm planning to see just how long and how far I can go on cutting and upcycling old shirts and fabrics.

This is why I believed: Scissors, should definitely be kept out of reach of children... and ME!

Anyways, check out my easy breezy, silly tutorial:

How did I do it?

STEP 1:

Choose your desired shirt.
Lay it flat and cut out the neckline and sleeves' hems.

STEP 2:

Cut the sides, cut the sleeves, imagine how you want it to
look.. and cut, cut, cut...
Horizontally on the shirt's sides up to somewhere on the hip line.
then vertically on the sleeves and way low on the shirt...

Pull the strands one by one, as much as you can...

STEP 3:

Tie the shirt together on the sides. Double knots, and then
add a few more knots on the fringes on the bottom of your shirt
to give it a little more design.

AND that's it!

You're done!
